TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The HQ362 shaver can be recharged in 8 hours by
means of a ’Swiched Mode Power Supply’.
The heart of the power supply consists of IC1,
incorporating the following functions:
a. a current controller to adjust the charge current,
b. a primary current limiter to protect the transformer
from saturation.
c. a frequency limiter.
d. an open cell protection.
e. a chip temperature protection.

The green LED only illuminates when the shaver is
connected to the mains.

HINTS FOR REPAIRS

- Remove the shaving unit, to prevent damages
during repairs.

- Remove screw A (1x).

- Put the shaver on the table and remove the tailpart
(item 17) from the shaver.
Lift the PCB with motor out of the housing.

- Loosen the motor clampings springs (item 20) on the
bearing block with a small screwdriver.

- Unlock peg clamping ’Z’ (2x) between frame (item 18)
and hair chamber (item 11).

- To remove the trimmer, first disassemble the trimmer
slide by pushing down the locking pegs ’X’ (2X) and
move slide slightly outwards.

- Make room between trimmer and cover with a small
screwdriver, to replease the peg fastening ’Y’.
