Introduction

With your new Satinelle ICE you can remove unwanted hairs quickly, easily and effectively.The combination of the new ceramic epilating system with the contour-following skin cooler and the massaging system constitutes a revolution in epilation.Thanks to the natural numbing effect of ice and massaging, the new Satinelle ICE makes epilation more comfortable and less painful than ever.The result is a silky-smooth skin and a hair growth reduction of up to 50%, assuming you use the appliance regularly (every 4 weeks).

The Satinelle ICE is suitable for all body parts.Type HP6493 also comes with a skin cooler that has been specially developed for epilating sensitive areas (underarms, bikini line).These areas can be particularly sensitive to pain, which this special skin cooler helps to diminish.

The rapidly rotating epilating discs catch even the shortest hairs (down to 0.5 millimetre!) and pull them out by the roots. As a result, your skin stays smooth for up to four weeks and regrowth is soft and downy.

Read these instructions for use carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference.

◗ Check if the voltage indicated on the adapter corresponds to the

local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.

◗ Only use the appliance in combination with the adapter supplied. ◗ Do not use the appliance if the adapter or the appliance itself is

damaged.

◗ If the adapter is damaged, always have it replaced by one of the

original type in order to avoid a hazard.

◗ The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adapter to

replace it with another plug, as this will cause a hazardous situation.

◗ Keep the appliance and the adapter dry. ◗ Keep the appliance out of the reach of children. ◗ Do not expose the appliance to temperatures lower than 5cC or

higher than 35cC.

◗ To prevent damage and injuries, keep the running appliance away

from your scalp hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes, threads, cords, brushes etc.

◗ Do not use the epilating head on irritated skin or skin with

varicose veins, rashes, spots, moles (with hairs) or wounds without consulting your doctor first. People with a reduced immune response or people suffering from diabetes mellitus, Raynaud's disease or immunodeficiency should contact their doctor first.

Preparing for use

Freezing the skin cooler

1 Put the skin cooler WITHOUT the insulating sleeve in the

freezer or freezing compartment (***) at least 4 hours before you start epilating.When the fluid has turned completely blue, the skin cooler is ready for use.

Make sure the outside of the skin cooler is completely dry before you freeze it.

TIP: you can store the skin cooler in the freezer permanently.

Using the appliance

General information about epilation

◗ Epilation is easier just after taking a bath or shower. Make sure

your skin is completely dry when you start epilating.

◗ When you use the appliance for the first time, we advise you to

try it out on an area with only light hair growth to get accustomed to the epilation process.

◗ Before epilating longer hairs on sensitive skin areas,shorten them

with a trimmer or a pair of scissors.

◗ Your skin may become a little red and irritated the first few times

you use the epilator.This phenomenon is absolutely normal and will quickly disappear. As you use the appliance more often, your skin will get used to epilation, skin irritation will decrease and regrowth will become thinner and softer. If the irritation has not disappeared within three days, we advise you to consult a doctor.

◗ We advise you to epilate before going to bed at night,as this will

allow any skin irritation that may develop to diminish overnight.

Epilating with the leg skin cooler

Make sure your skin is clean, entirely dry and free from grease. Do not use any cream before you start epilating.

1 Slide the insulating sleeve onto the skin cooler (fig. 2).

The insulating sleeve prevents an unpleasant sensation of coldness in your hand while using the appliance and keeps the skin cooler cold as long as possible. Occasionally the pivoting cooling head may freeze onto the skin cooler and won't move when you take the skin cooler from the freezer. The pivoting cooling head will start pivoting again after you have passed it over your leg a few times.

2 Snap the appliance onto the skin cooler (fig. 3).

3 Insert the appliance plug into the bottom of the appliance and put

the adapter in the wall socket.

4 Switch the appliance on by selecting the desired speed (fig. 4).

Select speed I for areas with little hair growth and for areas where bones are located directly beneath the skin, such as knees and ankles. Select speed II for larger areas with stronger hair growth.

5 Stretch your skin with your free hand to make the hairs stand

upright.

6 Place the appliance perpendicularly onto the skin with the

epilating head pointing forward and move it against the direction of hair growth at a moderate speed (fig. 5).

Make sure both the epilating discs and the skin cooler are in proper contact with the skin. Press the appliance lightly onto the skin.

◗ If you are not completely satisfied with the epilation result,try

moving the epilator more slowly over your skin.

7 Use the tab on the bottom end of the appliance to remove the

appliance from the skin cooler (fig. 6).

Epilating with the skin cooler for underarms and bikini line (HP6493 only).

The special skin cooler for the underarms and the bikini line reduces the number of active epilating discs. Combined with the large cooling surface, this skin cooler makes epilating sensitive areas less painful. You will get the best results when the hairs are not too long (max. 1cm).

1 Slide the insulating sleeve onto the skin cooler (fig. 7).

2 Snap the appliance onto the skin cooler (fig. 8).

3 Switch the appliance on by selecting the desired speed (fig. 4).

We advise you to use speed I.

4 To epilate the underam area, place one arm behind your head to

stretch the skin and place the appliance perpendiculary onto the skin with the hand of the other arm (fig. 9).

5 To epilate the bikini line, stretch the skin with your free hand and

place the appliance perpendicularly onto your skin, without exerting any pressure (fig.10).

6 Move the appliance slowly across the skin against the direction of

hair growth.

7 Use the tab on the bottom end of the appliance to remove the

appliance from the skin cooler for underarms and bikini line (HP6493 only) (fig. 11).

Epilating without skin cooler

◗ If you do not want to use the skin cooler, for instance because

you have grown accustomed to the sensation of epilation, you can also use the appliance without the skin cooler.

◗ Make sure that you place the epilator perpendicularly onto your

skin and that you move it against the direction of hair growth.

Using the exfoliating body puff

Use the exfoliating body puff in the shower.

Regular massages with the puff may help to prevent ingrown hairs. Do not use the puff immediately before or after epilation.

Shaving (HP6493 and HP6492 only)

You can use the shaving head to shave sensitive body parts, such as your underarms and bikini line. With the shaving head you will obtain a smooth result in a comfortable and gentle way.

1 Make sure the appliance is switched off.

2 Remove the skin cooler

3 Remove the epilating head (fig. 12).

Press the release button (1) and move the epilating head in the direction of the arrow (2).

4 Place the shaving head on the appliance and press it onto the

appliance until it snaps home ('click') (fig. 13).

5 Switch the appliance on by selecting speed II.

6 Place the shaving head onto your skin and move the appliance

slowly and smoothly against the direction of hair growth, while pressing it lightly (fig. 14).

Cleaning and maintenance

Never rinse the adapter or the appliance itself with water.

Do not use any corrosive detergents,scouring pads or cloths, petrol, acetone etc. to clean the appliance.

1 Make sure the appliance is switched off and unplugged.

2 Remove the skin cooler from the appliance and slide the

insulating sleeve off the skin cooler.

3 Clean the pivoting cooling head of the leg skin cooler with the

brush supplied or with a moist cloth after each use.

Make sure the outside of the skin cooler is completely dry before freezing it again.

Cleaning the epilating head

1 Remove the epilating head (fig. 12).

Press the release button (1) and move the epilating head in the direction of the arrow (2).

2 Clean all accessible parts and the epilating discs with the brush

(fig. 15).

3 For thorough cleaning you can remove the massaging element

(fig. 16).

4 You can also clean the epilating head (not the appliance!) more

thououghly by rinsing it under the tap (fig. 17).

Never try to detach the epilating discs from the epilating head.

5 Place the epilating head on the appliance and press it onto the

appliance until it snaps home ('click') (fig. 18).

The epilating head can only be fitted onto the appliance in one way.

Cleaning the shaving head (HP6493 and HP6492 only)

Clean the shaving head after every use.

1 Make sure the appliance is switched off and unplugged.

2 Remove the shaving unit by pulling it out of the shaving head (fig.

19).

3 Brush the hairs off the shaving unit and the shaving head.Make

sure that you also brush away any hairs that have collected under the trimmers (fig. 20).

4 You can also rinse the shaving unit (not the appliance!) under the

tap (fig. 21).

5 Put the shaving unit back into the shaving head and snap the

shaving head back onto the appliance ('click') (fig. 22).

Do not exert pressure on the shaving foil to avoid damaging it.

6 Rub a drop of sewing machine oil onto the trimmers and shaving

foil of the shaving unit twice a year.

Storage

1 Put the protective cap on the shaving head ('click') (fig. 23).

2 Store the appliance and the accessories in the pouch.

Replacement (HP6493 and HP6492 only)

If you use the shaving head several times a week, replace the shaving unit (type HP6193) after one or two years of use or if these parts are damaged.

Environment

◗ Do not throw the appliance away with the normal household

waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this you will help to preserve the environment (fig. 24).

Solution

Move the appliance against the direction of hair growth.

Make sure you place the appliance perpendicularly onto the skin.

Make sure both the epilating head and the skin cooler are in proper contact with your skin during epilation.

Make sure your skin is entirely dry and free from grease. Do not put any cream, body milk or other skincare product on your skin before you start epilating.

Only use the leg skin cooler to epilate your legs.

Make sure the socket you use is live. If you are using a socket in a bathroom cabinet, you may need to switch on the light to activate the socket.

Make sure that the appliance is plugged in and switched on.

Cause

The epilator is being moved in the wrong direction.

The epilating head is placed on the skin at the wrong angle.

The epilating head does not touch the skin.

The skin was moistened with water, or a cream or other skincare product was applied prior to epilation.

The skin cooler for underarms and bikini line is on the appliance when you are epilating your legs.

The socket to which the appliance is connected is not live.

The appliance is not switched on.

Problem

Reduced epilating performance.

The appliance does not work.

Troubleshooting

Solution

Place the epilating head on the appliance and press it onto the appliance until it snaps home ('click').

Some skin irritation may occur the first few times you use the appliance. This is absolutely normal and should quickly disappear. For tips to reduce skin irritation, see the first section of chapter 'Using the appliance'. Also make sure you keep the epilating head clean.

Put the skin cooler without the insulating sleeve in the freezer or freezing compartment (***) for at least 4 hours. When the colour of the fluid has changed from white to completely blue, the skin cooler is ready for use.

Cause

The epilating head has not been attached correctly.

You used the epilator for the first time or after a long period of disuse.

The skin cooler is not cold enough.

Solution

Make sure the skin cooler is always in proper contact with your skin during epilation.

Pass the skin cooler over your leg a few times to make it start pivoting again. Always make sure the outside of the skin cooler is completely dry before you freeze it.

Press the release button and move the epilating head in the direction of the arrow (fig. 11) to remove it.

Połączenie nowego ceramicznego systemu depilacyjnego z dopasowującą się do kształtów ciała nasadką chłodzącą oraz systemem masującym to rewolucja w depilacji. Masaż oraz uśmierzające ból schładzanie lodem sprawiają, że depilacja za pomocą Satinelle ICE jest wygodniejsza i mniej bolesna niż kiedykolwiek. Depilując się zaledwie raz na cztery tygodnie, zapobiegasz odrastaniu aż 50% włosków, dzięki czemu twoja skóra pozostaje jedwabiście gładka na dłużej.

Depilatora Satinelle ICE można używać na wszystkich częściach ciała. Model HP6493 jest wyposażony w nasadkę chłodzącą stworzoną specjalnie do depilacji delikatnych obszarów ciała (pachy, okolice bikini), które są szczególnie wrażliwe na ból. Nasadka pomaga go złagodzić.

Szybko obracające się dyski depilujące wychwytują nawet najkrótsze włoski (o długości do pół milimetra!) i wyrywają je wraz z cebulką.W rezultacie skóra pozostaje aksamitnie gładka nawet przez cztery tygodnie, zaś odrastające włoski są miękkie i rzadsze.

Przygotowanie do użycia

Zamrażanie nasadki chłodzącej

1 Włóż element chłodzący BEZ nakładki izolacyjnej do zamrażarki

lub zamrażalnika (***) na 4 godziny przed rozpoczęciem depilacji. Nasadka chłodząca jest gotowa do użycia, gdy płyn zmieni kolor na niebieski.

Przed zamrożeniem upewnij się, że powierzchnia nasadki chłodzącej jest zupełnie sucha.

WSKAZÓWKA: Nasadkę chłodzącą można stale trzymać w zamrażarce.

Zasady używania

Ogólne uwagi na temat depilacji

◗ Depilacja jest łatwiejsza tuż po kąpieli lub prysznicu.W chwili

rozpoczęcia depilacji skóra musi być całkowicie sucha.

◗ Jeśli używasz depilatora po raz pierwszy, zaleca się wypróbowanie

tej metody w miejscu słabo owłosionym.W ten sposób stopniowo przywykniesz do depilacji.

◗ Dłuższe włosy lub włosy we wrażliwych okolicach należy przed

depilacją skrócić za pomocą trymera lub nożyczek.

◗ Podczas kilku pierwszych zastosowań depilatora skóra może być

nieco zaczerwieniona i podrażniona. Zjawisko to jest całkowicie normalne i szybko ustępuje. Przy częstym korzystaniu z urządzenia skóra przyzwyczaja się do depilacji, podrażnienie zmniejsza się, a odrastające włoski są cieńsze i bardziej miękkie. ◗ Zalecamy przeprowadzanie depilacji wieczorem przed snem,

ponieważ wszelkie ewentualne objawy podrażnienia powinny ustąpić w ciągu nocy.

Depilacja z nasadką chłodzącą do nóg

Upewnij się, że skóra jest czysta i nienatłuszczona. Nie używaj kremu bezpośrednio przed depilacją.

1 Załóż nakładkę izolacyjną na nasadkę chłodzącą (rys. 2).

Nakładka izolacyjna łagodzi nieprzyjemne uczucie zimna podczas trzymania urządzenia w ręku oraz powoduje, że nasadka chłodząca pozostaje dłużej zimna.

Może się zdarzyć, że po wyjęciu nasadki chłodzącej z zamrażarki obrotowa głowica chłodząca przymarznie do nasadki i nie da się ruszyć. Głowica zacznie się znów obracać po kilkukrotnym przeciągnięciu jej po skórze nogi.

2 Załóż nasadkę chłodzącą na urządzenie (rys. 3). 3 Włóż wtyczkę zasilacza do gniazda w urządzeniu, a zasilacz do

gniazdka elektrycznego.

4 Włącz depilator, wybierając odpowiednią prędkość obrotów

(rys. 4).

Wybierz prędkość I dla obszarów z niewielką ilością włosów oraz takich, gdzie tuż pod skórą wyraźnie uwydatniają się kości np. na kolanach i kostkach. Wybierz prędkość II dla obszarów większych, z większą ilością włosów.

5 Naciągnij skórę wolną ręką, aby włosy znalazły się w pionowej

pozycji.

6 Przyłóż urządzenie prostopadle do powierzchni skóry z głowicą

depilującą zwróconą do przodu i przesuwaj je z umiarkowaną szybkością w kierunku przeciwnym do kierunku wzrostu włosów (rys. 5).

Upewnij się, że dyski depilujące i nasadka chłodząca mają ciągły kontakt ze skórą. Lekko dociśnij depilator do skóry.

◗ Jeśli rezultat depilacji nie jest w pełni zadowalający, spróbuj

wolniej przesuwać depilator po powierzchni skóry.

7 Użyj zacisku na spodzie urządzenia, aby odłączyć nasadkę

chłodzącą od urządzenia (rys. 6).

Depilacja z nasadką chłodzącą do pach i okolic bikini (tylko model HP6493)

Dzięki specjalnej nasadce chłodzącej do pach i okolic bikini, która redukuje liczbę działających dysków depilujących, oraz dużej powierzchni chłodzącej depilacja wrażliwych obszarów ciała jest mniej

bolesna. Najlepsze rezultaty można uzyskać, gdy włosy nie są zbyt długie (maksymalnie 1 cm).

1 Załóż nakładkę izolacyjną na nasadkę chłodzącą (rys. 7). 2 Załóż nasadkę chłodzącą na urządzenie (rys. 8). 3 Włącz depilator, wybierając odpowiednią prędkość obrotów

(rys. 4).

Zalecamy wybór prędkości I.

4 W celu depilacji pach załóż jedną rękę za głowę, aby napiąć skórę,

a następnie przyłóż urządzenie prostopadle do skóry, trzymając je w drugiej ręce (rys. 9).

5 Aby wydepilować okolice bikini,wolną dłonią naciągnij skórę i

przyłóż urządzenie prostopadle do skóry, nie dociskając go (rys. 10).

6 Przesuwaj urządzenie powoli po skórze w kierunku przeciwnym

do kierunku wzrostu włosków.

7 Użyj zacisku na spodzie urządzenia, aby odłączyć nasadkę

chłodzącą do pach i okolic bikini od urządzenia (tylko model HP6493) (rys. 11).

Depilacja bez nasadki chłodzącej

◗ Jeśli przywykłaś już do depilacji, możesz używać urządzenia bez

nasadki chłodzącej.

◗ Przyłóż depilator prostopadle do skóry i przesuwaj go w

kierunku przeciwnym do kierunku wzrostu włosów.

Używanie gąbki złuszczającej naskórek

Gąbkę złuszczającą naskórek można używać pod prysznicem. Regularne masowanie gąbką złuszczającą naskórek zapobiega wrastaniu

włosków pod skórę. Nie należy jednak używać gąbki bezpośrednio przed i po depilacji.

Golenie (tylko modele HP6493 i HP6492)

Głowicę golącą można używać do usuwania owłosienia z wrażliwych partii ciała, takich jak pachy i okolica bikini. Dzięki głowicy golącej możesz uzyskać gładką skórę w wygodny i bezbolesny sposób.

1 Upewnij się, że urządzenie jest wyłączone. 2 Zdejmij nasadkę chłodzącą. 3 Zdejmij głowicę depilującą (rys. 12).

Naciśnij przycisk zwalniający (1) i przesuń głowicę depilującą w kierunku wskazanym przez strzałkę (2).

4 Załóż głowicę golącą na urządzenie i dociśnij do oporu, aż

zablokuje się na swoim miejscu (usłyszysz „kliknięcie”) (rys. 13).

5 Włącz depilator, wybierając prędkość II. 6 Przyłóż głowicę golącą do skóry i lekko dociskając, powoli

przesuwaj urządzenie w kierunku przeciwnym do kierunku wzrostu włosów (rys. 14).

Czyszczenie i konserwacja

Nigdy nie płucz w wodzie zasilacza ani samego urządzenia. Do czyszczenia urządzenia nie należy używać żrących detergentów,

materiałów ściernych, benzyny, acetonu itp.

1 Upewnij się, że urządzenie zostało wyłączone, a wtyczka wyjęta z

gniazdka elektrycznego.

2 Zdejmij nasadkę chłodzącą z urządzenia i zsuń z niej nakładkę

izolacyjną.

3 Po każdym użyciu wyczyść obrotową głowicę chłodzącą nasadki

chłodzącej do nóg za pomocą dołączonej szczoteczki lub wilgotnej szmatki.

Przed ponownym zamrożeniem sprawdź, czy nasadka chłodząca jest zupełnie sucha.

Czyszczenie głowicy depilującej

1 Zdejmij głowicę depilującą (rys. 12).

Naciśnij przycisk zwalniający (1) i przesuń głowicę depilującą w kierunku wskazanym przez strzałkę (2).

2 Wyczyść szczoteczką wszystkie dostępne elementy i dyski

depilujące (rys. 15).

3 Aby dokładnie wyczyścić urządzenie, zdejmij element masujący

(rys. 16).

4 Możesz dokładniej wyczyścić głowicę depilującą (nie urządzenie!)

płucząc ją pod bieżącą wodą (rys. 17).

Nigdy nie próbuj wyjmować dysków depilujących z głowicy depilującej.

Wyczyść głowicę golącą po każdym użyciu.

1 Upewnij się, że urządzenie zostało wyłączone, a wtyczka wyjęta z

gniazdka elektrycznego.

2 Wyjmij element golący z głowicy golącej (rys. 19). 3 Za pomocą szczoteczki usuń włosy z elementu golącego i głowicy

golącej. Usuń także włosy, które zebrały się pod ostrzami trymera (rys. 20).

4 Możesz wypłukać element golący (nie urządzenie!) pod bieżącą

wodą (rys. 21).

5 Włóż element golący z powrotem do głowicy golącej i załóż

głowicę golącą na depilator (usłyszysz „kliknięcie”) (rys. 22).

Przesuwaj urządzenie w kierunku przeciwnym do kierunku wzrostu włosów.

Upewnij się, że urządzenie jest ustawione prostopadle do skóry.

Upewnij się, że głowica depilująca i nasadka chłodząca mają ciągły kontakt ze skórą.

Upewnij się, że skóra jest całkowicie sucha i że nie jest tłusta. Przed rozpoczęciem depilacji nie używaj żadnego kremu, mleczka do ciała ani innego produktu do pielęgnacji skóry.

Podczas depilacji nóg używaj jedynie nasadki chłodzącej do nóg.

Włóż nasadkę chłodzącą bez nakładki izolacyjnej do zamrażarki lub zamrażalnika (***) na przynajmniej 4 godziny. Nie przechowuj nasadki w lodówce.

Upewnij się, że nasadka chłodząca zawsze dokładnie przylega do skóry podczas depilacji.

Przesuń nasadkę chłodzącą kilka razy po skórze nogi, aby zaczęła się obracać. Przed zamrożeniem zawsze upewnij się, że powierzchnia nasadki jest zupełnie sucha.

Wyłącz urządzenie, wyjmij wtyczkę urządzenia z gniazdka elektrycznego i zdejmij element golący. Następnie wyczyść element golący dołączoną szczoteczką. Usuń wszystkie włosy, które dostały się pod trymer.

Głowica goląca jest brudna.

Cu ajutorul noului Satinelle ICE puteţi elimina rapid, uşor şi în totalitate firele de păr nedorite. Combinaţia dintre noul sistem de epilare confecţionat din material ceramic, dispozitivul de răcire care urmează liniile pielii şi sistemul pentru masaj constituie o evoluţie în epilare. Important

Citiţi aceste instrucţiuni de utilizare cu atenţie înainte de a folosi aparatul şi păstraţi-le pentru consultare ulterioară.

◗ Înainte de a conecta aparatul, verificaţi ca tensiunea indicată pe

1 Introduceţi dispozitivul de răcire FĂRĂ manşonul izolator în

congelator sau în compartimentul de îngheţare (***) cu cel puţin 4 ore înainte de epilare. În momentul în care fluidul devine complet albastru, dispozitivul de răcire este pregătit pentru utilizare.
