Introduction.
With your new Philips ladyshave Body Contour you can quickly, easily and comfortably remove unwanted hair from dry or wet skin.
The Philips ladyshave Body Contour is equipped with a floating shaving head, which optimally adapts to the skin in order to ensure a perfectly smooth shave.
Important.
Read these instructions for use carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference.
Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
The appliance complies with the internationally approved IEC safety regulations and can be safely used in the bath or shower (fig. 1).
Use and store the appliance at a temperature between 15cC and 35cC.
This appliance can only be operated on batteries.
Preparing for use.
Inserting batteries
Insert two R6 AA 1.5-volt batteries.
We strongly advise you to use Philips LR6 PowerLife batteries. They supply sufficient energy for approx. 40 minutes of shaving.
To avoid damage due to battery leakage:
-do not expose the ladyshave to direct sunlight;
-do not expose the appliance to temperatures higher than 35cC;
-remove the batteries if the appliance is not going to be used for a month or more;
-do not leave empty batteries in the appliance.
1Make sure that your hands and the appliance are dry when you insert the batteries.
2Pull the upper part of the appliance off the lower part (fig. 2).
3Insert the two batteries into the battery compartment (fig. 3).
BMake sure the + and - marks on the batteries match those in the battery compartment.
4Reattach the lower part of the appliance to the upper part.
The ladyshave is now ready for use.
Using the appliance.
Shaving
1Set the trim/shave slide to the 'shave' position (fig. 4).
2Put the desired shaving foil on the shaving head.
Use the golden shaving foil to shave the underarms (fig. 5).
Use the golden shaving foil to shave the bikini line (fig. 6).
Use the silver shaving foil to shave the legs (fig. 7).
Do not use the silver shaving foil to shave the underarms and the bikini line in order to reduce the risk of injuries.
3Switch the ladyshave on (fig. 8).
4Place the shaving unit gently on the skin and move the ladyshave slowly against the direction of hair growth while pressing it lightly.
The angle between the skin and the ladyshave should be 70c to get the best results (fig. 7).
Trimming
Put the comb attachment onto the shaving head to trim the hairs to an even length
(about 5 mm), e.g. in the bikini zone (fig. 9).
The comb attachment can be put onto the shaving head in different directions, depending on the area to be trimmed.
1Set the trim/shave slide to the 'trim' position (fig. 10).
2To trim the bikini zone, place the comb attachment on the shaving head with the recess of the attachment on the front of the appliance (fig. 11).
3To trim the underarms, place the comb attachment on the shaving head with the recess of the attachment on the back of the appliance (fig. 12).
4Switch the ladyshave on.
5Move the appliance against the direction of hair growth.
Make sure the surface of the comb always stays in contact with the skin (fig. 13).
Shaping
1Remove the comb attachment to shape precise lines and contours, e.g. in the bikini zone (fig. 14).
2Lock the long hair trimmer by setting the trim/shave slide to the 'trim' position (fig. 10).
Cleaning and maintenance.
After every use
Clean the ladyshave every time you have used it.
Do not use any corrosive detergents, scouring pads or cloths, petrol, acetone etc. to clean the
appliance.
1Switch the ladyshave off.
2Remove the shaving foil (fig. 15).
Do not exert any pressure on the shaving foil to avoid damage.
3Gently shake the shaving foil to remove hairs or clean it with the brush supplied.
4Remove the cutter block (fig. 16).
5Clean the hair chamber with the brush supplied (fig. 17).
6Reassemble the ladyshave and put the comb attachment onto the appliance before storing it, to protect the shaving foil (fig. 9).
Twice a year
Lubricate the shaving foils with a drop of sewing machine oil twice a year (fig. 18).
Storage.
When you are not using the ladyshave you can store it in the shower by hanging it upside down from the shower loop.
Attach the shower loop to the appliance as shown in the picture (fig. 19).
Replacement.
If you use the ladyshave two or more times a week, we advise you to replace the shaving foils and cutter block every one to two years.
-The silver shaving foil may only be replaced with an original Philips shaving foil (type HP6117/01).
-The golden shaving foil may only be replaced with an original Philips shaving foil (type HP6121).
-The cutter block may only be replaced with an original Philips cutter block (type HP6111).
Environment.
Do not throw the appliance away with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this you will help to preserve the environment (fig. 20).
Batteries contain substances that may pollute the environment. Do not throw empty batteries away with the normal household waste, but hand them in at an official collection point. Always remove the batteries before discarding the appliance or handing it in at an official collection point.

Einleitung.
Mit Ihrem neuen Philips Ladyshave Body Contour können Sie lästige Haare schnell, leicht und bequem bei trockener und nasser Haut entfernen.
Der Philips Ladyshave Body Contour ist mit einem flexiblen Scherkopf ausgestattet, der sich optimal an die Haut anpasst und so eine perfekte Rasur gewährleistet.
Wichtig.
Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung vor dem ersten Gebrauch des Geräts sorgfältig durch und bewahren Sie sie zur späteren Einsichtnahme auf.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es beschädigt oder defekt ist.
Das Gerät erfüllt die internationalen IECSicherheitsvorschriften und kann ohne Bedenken im Bad und unter der Dusche benutzt werden (Abb. 1).
Benutzen Sie das Gerät bei Temperaturen zwischen 15c C und 35c C. Bewahren Sie es auch in diesem Temperaturbereich auf.
Dieses Gerät kann nur mit Batterien betrieben werden.
Vorbereitung zum Gebrauch.
Die Batterien einlegen
Legen Sie zwei R6 AA 1,5 Volt Batterien ein. Wir empfehlen Ihnen dringend, Philips LR6 PowerLife-Batterien zu verwenden; sie liefern genügend Energie für 40 Minuten Rasur.
So vermeiden Sie Beschädigungen durch auslaufende Batterien:
-Setzen Sie Ihren Ladyshave keinem direkten Sonnenlicht aus;
-setzen Sie das Gerät keinen Temperaturen über 35c C aus;
-entnehmen Sie die Batterien, wenn Sie das Gerät voraussichtlich über einen Monat lang nicht benutzen werden;
-lassen Sie leere Batterien nicht im Gerät.
1Achten Sie darauf, dass Ihre Hände und das Gerät beim Einsetzen der Batterien trocken sind.
2Ziehen Sie den oberen Teil des Geräts vom unteren Teil ab (Abb. 2).
3Legen Sie die beiden Batterien in das Batteriefach (Abb. 3).
BDabei müssen die (+) und (-) Markierungen denen im Batteriefach entsprechen.
4Setzen Sie den oberen Teil des Geräts wieder auf den unteren Teil.
Der Ladyshave ist jetzt betriebsbereit.
Benutzung des Geräts.
Rasieren
1Stellen Sie den Schiebeschalter "trim/shave" (Schneiden/Rasieren) auf "shave" (Abb. 4).
2Setzen Sie die gewünschte Scherfolie auf den Scherkopf.
Nehmen Sie die goldene Scherfolie zum Rasieren der Achselhöhlen (Abb. 5).
Nehmen Sie die goldene Scherfolie zum Rasieren der Bikinizone (Abb. 6).
Nehmen Sie die silberne Scherfolie zum Rasieren der Beine (Abb. 7).
Benutzen Sie die silberne Scherfolie nicht zur Rasur
der Achselhöhlen oder Bikinizone, um Verletzungen
zu vermeiden.
3Schalten Sie den Ladyshave ein (Abb. 8).
4Setzen Sie die Schereinheit sanft auf die Haut und führen Sie den Ladyshave mit leichtem Druck langsam gegen die Haarwuchsrichtung.
Für die besten Ergebnisse sollten Sie den Ladyshave in einem Winkel von 70c auf die Haut setzen (Abb. 7).
Schneiden
Stecken Sie den Kammaufsatz auf den Scherkopf, um die Haare auf eine gleichmäßige
Länge (ca. 5 mm) zu schneiden, z. B. im Bikinibereich (Abb. 9).
Der Kammaufsatz lässt sich in verschiedenen Richtungen auf den Scherkopf setzen - je nach der Körperpartie, an der Sie die Haare schneiden möchten.
1Stellen Sie den Schiebeschalter "trim/shave" (Schneiden/Rasieren) auf "trim" (Abb. 10).
2Um Haare in der Bikinizone zu schneiden, setzen Sie den Kammaufsatz mit der Aussparung nach vorn auf das Gerät (Abb. 11).
3Um Haare in den Achselhöhlen zu schneiden, setzen Sie den Kammaufsatz mit der Aussparung nach hinten auf das Gerät
(Abb. 12).
4Schalten Sie den Ladyshave ein.
5Bewegen Sie das Gerät gegen die Haarwuchsrichtung.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Oberfläche des Kammaufsatzes stets in Berührung mit der Haut bleibt (Abb. 13).
Konturengebung
1Nehmen Sie den Kammaufsatz ab, um präzise Linien und Konturen zu schneiden, z. B. im Bikinibereich (Abb. 14).
2Fahren Sie den Langhaarschneider heraus, indem Sie den Schiebeschalter "trim/shave" (Schneiden/Rasieren) auf "trim" stellen (Abb. 10).
Reinigung und Wartung.
Nach jedem Gebrauch
Reinigen Sie den Ladyshave nach jedem Gebrauch.
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen keine scharfen Wasch-, Spüloder Scheuermittel bzw.
Scheuerschwämme, auch keine Lösungsmittel wie Alkohol, Azeton, Benzin usw.
1Schalten Sie den Ladyshave aus.
2Nehmen Sie die Scherfolie heraus (Abb. 15).
Vermeiden Sie jeden Druck auf die Scherfolie; sie ist sehr empfindlich.
3Schütteln Sie die Scherfolie vorsichtig zum Entfernen der Haare oder reinigen Sie die Scherfolie mit der beiliegenden Bürste.
4Nehmen Sie den Messerblock ab (Abb. 16).
5Reinigen Sie die Haarauffangkammer mit der beiliegenden Bürste (Abb. 17).
6Setzen Sie den Ladyshave wieder zusammen und stecken Sie zum Schutz der Scherfolie den Kammaufsatz auf das Gerät, bevor Sie es weglegen (Abb. 9).
Zweimal jährlich
Geben Sie zweimal jährlich einen Tropfen Nähmaschinenöl auf die Scherfolien (Abb. 18).
Aufbewahrung.
Wenn Sie den Ladyshave nicht benutzen, können Sie ihn in der Dusche aufbewahren, indem Sie ihn umgekehrt an der Schlaufe aufhängen.
Befestigen Sie die Aufhängeschlaufe am Gerät (s. Abb.) (Abb. 19).
Ersatz und Reparatur.
Wenn Sie den Ladyshave mindestens zweimal pro Woche benutzen, sollten Sie die Scherfolien und den Messerblock alle ein bis zwei Jahre austauschen.
-Die silberne Scherfolie darf nur durch eine Philips Scherfolie Typ HP6117/01 ausgetauscht werden.
-Die goldene Scherfolie darf nur durch eine Philips Scherfolie Typ HP6121 ausgetauscht werden.
-Der Messerblock darf nur durch einen Philips Messerblock HP6111 ausgetauscht werden.
Umweltschutz.
Geben Sie das Gerät am Ende der Lebensdauer nicht in den normalen Hausmüll. Bringen Sie es zum Recycling zu einer offiziellen Sammelstelle. Auf diese Weise helfen Sie die Umwelt zu schonen (Abb. 20).
Batterien enthalten Substanzen, welche die Umwelt gefährden können. Leere Batterien gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Geben Sie sie an einer offiziellen Sammelstelle ab. Entnehmen Sie Batterien, bevor Sie das Gerät entsorgen oder zu einer offiziellen Sammelstelle bringen.
