When an appliance has been in use for quite
some time, hydrogen may escape from the
rechargeable battery during recharging.
Two pellets have been mounted under the PCB.
These pellets convert hydrogen into water
and prevent the development of hazardous
situations due to the build-up of hydrogen in the
appliance.
Make sure the pellets don’t fall out of the
appliance when you replace the PCB.
Replace the appliance if one of the pellets is
missing or no pellet is available at all.
After the product has been repaired, it should
function properly and has to meet the safety
requirements as laid down and offi cially
established at this moment.
