Why is skin cleansing so important?

◗ Cleansing is the first step

Facial cleansing is a basic element of women's
beauty regime. It is a prerequisite for proper
skincare. Cleansing the face prepares the skin for
other treatments such as moisturising, deep
cleansing or nourishing.

If you do not cleanse your skin properly, the pores
may clog up,possibly causing blackheads or
blemishes,or a residue may develop which slows
down the natural process of sloughing off skin
cells.

◗ The benefits of exfoliation

The purpose of exfoliating is to remove dead skin
cells to reveal a radiant,youthful skin.Exfoliation

deeper layer of newer, less dry skin cells to reach
the surface of the skin.Dried-up skin cells left on
the surface of the skin too long can produce a
dull,uneven and flaky layer.

Removing these dead skin cells can make a huge
difference to the appearance of the face and
lends a fresher look to the skin.The more you
stimulate the normal process of exfoliation of skin
cells,the less cell debris can fill up and clog the
pores,the easier blackheads can be removed and

The new Visapure has specially developed soft
brushes which gently rotate to deeply cleanse
your skin.They can be used every day with your
regular cleansing product or for special intensive

◗ Soft Pressure Sensor

A built-in system automatically adjusts the
pressure of the brush on your face to guarantee
optimal and gentle cleansing.Two different
intensity settings are available:you can use the soft
setting (left) for a gentle treatment and the
intensive setting (right) for a deeper cleansing.
These settings also allow you to adjust the
intensity of the treatment to the sensitivity of
your skin,the soft setting being more pleasant on
a sensitive skin.

Exfoliating with Visapure

◗ This brush can be used with your regular

cleanser or exfoliating product (scrub
gel/cream,etc).

◗ The section 'Removing dead skin cells with

the exfoliating brush' in this booklet details
how to obtain the best exfoliating results with
Visapure.

◗ The longer filaments of the brush lift away

impurities and gently exfoliate dead skin cells.
This brush is highly suitable for effective deep
cleansing.

Important

◗ Do not use the Visapure on dry,chapped skin

or when you suffer from skin diseases or skin
irritations,such as acne,sunburn,etc.

◗ Please note that the condition of the skin

varies throughout the year.Facial skin can get
dryer during the winter season:in that case
you should reduce the treatment time.

◗ Do not press the brush too hard onto your

face.Using the Visapure should always feel
pleasant.

◗ When using Visapure on the neckline,make

sure that you observe a shorter treatment
time than normally recommended.The
neckline area is more sensitive than the face.

◗ Regular cleaning of the appliance ensures

optimal results and a longer life.

◗ Keep the appliance away from children.

Preparing the appliance for use

Inserting the battery

1 Open the battery compartment by pulling

at the lower part of the appliance.

Please make sure that your hands are dry when
inserting the battery.

The Visapure uses 1 R6 AA1.5 volt battery.For a
longer running time, it is recommended to use an
Alkaline battery.

2 Put the battery in the appliance.

Note:match the +/- symbols on the battery with
the +/- marks on the battery case.

3 Put the battery compartment lid back

onto the appliance again and push it until
your hear a click.

Using the Visapure

Daily facial cleansing with the
cleansing brush

1 Push the cleansing brush onto the

connection pin until it locks into position
with a click.

2 Use,for examle,a headband to keep your

hair away from your face in order to
prevent your hair from getting tangled in
the brush.

If you are wearing heavy make-up,we advise you
to remove most of the make-up first.

3 Choose the 'soft' setting for daily cleansing

(type HP5252 only).

Tip:For the best result,we advise you to foam up
a small portion of your favourite cleansing product
in the palm of your hand by using the brush and
lukewarm water.You can also put the cleanser
directly onto the dampened brush.

If you use cleansing milk,we advise you to put it
directly onto the brush.

4 Place the brush onto your face.

5 Press the on button to switch the Visapure

on.

6 Gently move the brush across your face

while making circular movements.

To achieve the best cleansing result,you should
use the Visapure for approximately 1 to
2 minutes,depending on the sensitivity of your
skin.

Do not overdo the cleansing procedure
Remember that cleansing should always feel
pleasant.

Tip:While cleansing, skip sensitive skin areas such
as the eye area and the lips.

exfoliating brush

1 To exchange the brush,pull it from the

connection pin and store it carefully on
the back part of the stand.

2 Attach the exfoliating brush by pushing it

onto the connection pin until it locks into
position with a click.

3 Use a headband to keep your hair away

from your face in order to prevent your
hair from getting tangled in the brush.

4 To achieve the best exfoliating results,you

should first clean your face.Then moisten
your face with lukewarm water and apply
your favourite scrub cream.

Tip:If you prefer to exfoliate only with cleansing
cream,foam up a small portion in the palm of
your hand with help of the dampened brush.You
can also put the cleanser directly onto the
dampened brush.

5 Choose the 'intensive' setting,which is

ideal for effective deep cleansing and

exfoliation (type HP5252 only).

6 Place the exfoliating brush onto your face.
7 Press the on button to switch the Visapure

on.

8 Gently move the brush across your face

while making circular movements.

Do not overdo the exfoliation procedure
Remember that exfoliation should always feel
pleasant.

For an effective exfoliation,you should use the
brush for approximately 1 to 2 minutes,
depending on the sensitivity of your skin (do not
exfoliate longer or more often than
recommended on the package of your scrub
cream).

Soft Pressure Sensor

(type HP5252 only)
The Soft Pressure Sensor will automatically adjust

the pressure of the brush on your face to
guarantee effective and gentle cleansing.

◗ When you press the brush onto your face,it

will spring backwards.The cushioned brush
ensures that optimal brushing pressure is
maintained and that the brush accurately
follows the contours of the face.

Tip:The appliance has two intensity settings:1)
the 'soft' setting for a gentle treatment or for
more sensitive skin areas, 2) the 'intensive' setting
for deeper cleansing and more thorough
exfoliation.

Cleaning and storing

Clean the appliance and the brushes after each
use.

Do not use any alcohol,acetone,petrol,abrasive
cleaning agents etc. to clean the plastic parts.

1 Rinse the Visapure and the brushes under

the tap.Use warm water max. 60cC.

2 Also rinse the inside of the brushes.

Tip:If the filaments have become deformed,you
can restore them to their original shape by rinsing
the brush in warm water.

3 Switch the Visapure on to rinse any

cleansing residues from the drive shaft.

4 Dry the Visapure and brushes with a

towel.

5 Store the dry Visapure in the stand.

6 Leave one brush attached to the Visapure.

Place the second brush onto the pin on

the back part of the stand.

◗ You can clean the stand with a moist cloth.

Maintenance and replacement

Replacement brushes

◗ Replace the brushes every 3 to 6 months for

good cleansing and exfoliation results.

Replace the brush if the deformed filaments can
no longer be restored to their original shape.
Worn filaments will move impurities around
rather than remove them.They could also irritate
your skin.

New brushes are available from the shop in
which you have purchased your Philips beauty
Visapure. If you have problems finding

replacement brushes, see under 'Guarantee &
service'.

Environment

If you discard the appliance in due course, dispose
of it in accordance with the instructions of your
local authority.

Remove the batteries when you discard the
appliance. Do not throw the batteries away with
the normal household waste, but hand them in at
an official collection point.You can also take the
batteries to a Philips Service Centre, which will
dispose of them in an environmentally safe way.

De ce este curăţarea tenului atât de
importantă?

◗ Curăţarea este primul pas

Curăţarea tenului este un element de bază în
igiena unei femei. Este o condiţie necesară în
îngrijirea corectă a pielii. Curăţarea feţei
pregăteşte pielea pentru alte tratamente ca
hidratarea, curăţarea în profunzime sau hrănirea
tenului.

Dacă nu vă curăţaţi pielea corespunzător, porii se
pot astupa, ducând la formarea punctelor negre
sau a petelor, sau poate fi îngreunat procesul
natural de îndepărtare a celulelor moarte.

◗ Beneficiile exfolierii

Scopul exfolierii este de a îndepărta celulele
moarte pentru ca pielea să rămână proaspătă şi

tânără. Exfolierea permite noilor straturi de celule
tinere şi hidratate să iasă la suprafaţa pielii. După
un timp, celulele uscate neîndepărtate de pe
suprafaţa pielii dau acesteia un aspect tern,
neuniform şi flasc.

Îndepărtarea acestor celule poate îmbunătăţi mult
aspectul feţei, pielea căpătând un aspect mai
proaspăt. Stimulând procesul normal de exfoliere
a celulelor, porii se astupă mai greu, punctele
negre pot fi îndepărtate mai uşor, iar pielea capătă
un aspect mai sănătos.

Astfel, o curăţare temeinică dar atentă este
esenţială pentru a menţine elasticitatea pielii
prevenind îmbătrânirea şi păstrând aspectul
sănătos al acesteia.

◗ Perii unice

Noul Visapure este dotat cu perii moi care se
rotesc uşor pentru a curăţa în profunzime pielea
dumneavoastră. Pot fi folosite în fiecare zi cu
produsul dumneavoastră de curăţare a pielii sau

pentru o curăţare intensivă specială. Periile
îndepărtează impurităţile şi celulele moarte lăsând
pielea netedă şi proaspătă.

◗ Senzor de Presiune Uşoară

Un system automat încorporat reglează presiunea
periei pe faţa dumneavoastră pentru a garanta o
curăţare optimă şi atentă. Sunt disponibile două
reglaje de intensitate: puteţi folosi reglajul pentru
intensitate scăzută (stânga) pentru o curăţare
superficială şi reglajul pentru intensitate ridicătă
(dreapta) pentru o curăţare în profunzime. Aceste
reglaje vă permit reglarea intensităţii şi în funcţie
de sensibilitatea pielii, reglajul pentru intensitate
scăzută fiind mai plăcut pe o piele sensibilă.

◗ Această perie poate fi folosită cu săpun de

faţă sau cu produsul dumneavoastră de
curăţare obişnuit (gel, lapte demachiant, etc).

arată cum să obţineţi cele mai bune rezultate
cu acest aparat.

Exfolierea cu Visapure

◗ Această perie poate fi folosită cu produsul

dumneavoastră de curăţare obişnuit sau cu un
produs de exfoliere (gel/cremă exfoliantă, etc)

◗ În capitolul "Îndepărtarea celulelor moarte cu

peria pentru exfoliere" din aceste instrucţiuni
vi se arată cum să obţineţi cele mai bune
rezultate cu acest aparat.

◗ Perii lungi ai periei îndepărtează impurităţile şi

exfoliază uşor celulele moarte.Această perie
este potrivită pentru o curăţare în
profunzime.

Important

◗ Nu folosiţi aparatul Visapure pe pielea uscată

sau crăpată, sau dacă suferiţi de boli de piele
sau iritaţii precum acnee, arsuri, etc.

◗ Aveţi în vedere că starea pielii variază de-a

lungul anului. Pielea feţei se poate usca în
timpul iernii: în acest caz trebuie să reduceţi
durata tratamentului.

◗ Nu apăsaţi prea tare peria pe faţă.Folosirea

acestui aparat trebuie să fie plăcută.

◗ Când folosiţi aparatul pe zona gâtului,

asiguraţi-vă că durata tratamentului este mai
scurtă decât cea recomandată. Pielea gâtului
este mai sensibilă decât cea a feţei.

◗ Curăţarea regulată a aparatului asigură

rezultate optime pe o perioadă mai lungă de
timp.

◗ Nu lăsaţi aparatul la îndemâna copiilor.

◗ Folosiţi, de exemplu, o bentiţă pentru a vă

suţine părul în aşa fel încât acesta să nu se
încurce în perie.

◗ Aparatul este rezistent la apă deci poate fi

folosit sub duş.

◗ Pentru a obţine cele mai bune rezultate,

Visapure trebuie folosit după cum este descris
în următoarele pagini.

Pregătirea aparatului pentru utilizare

Introducerea bateriei

1 Deschideţi compartimentul bateriei

trăgând porţiunea inferioară a aparatului.

Asiguraţi-vă că aveţi mâinile uscate când
introduceţi bateria.

Pentru Visapure este necesară o baterie 1R6 AA
de 1,5 Volţi. Pentru o durată de funcţionare mai
mare folosiţi baterii Alkaline.

2 Introduceţi bateria în aparat.

Notă: potriviţi semnele +/- ale bateriei cu
semnele +/- ale compartimentului bateriei.

3 Poziţionaţi capacul compartimentului

bateriei pe aparat şi împingeţi-l până ce

auziţi un clic.

Utilizarea aparatului Visapure

Curăţarea zilnică a feţei cu peria
pentru curăţare

1 Împingeţi peria de curăţare în pivotul de

conectare până ce se fixează şi auziţi clic.

2 Folosiţi, de exemplu, o bentiţă pentru a vă

susţine părul în aşa fel încât acesta să nu se

încurce în perie.

Dacă sunteţi machiată puternic, vă sfătuim să
îndepărtaţi mai întâi machiajul.

3 Alegeţi reglajul 'fin' pentru o curăţare

zilnică (doar tipul HP5252).

Sugestie: Pentru rezultate optime, vă sfătuim să
amestecaţi în palmă cu ajutorul periei puţin din
produsul dumneavoastră de curăţare şi apă
călduţă. Puteţi pune produsul dumneavoastră de
curăţare direct pe peria umezită.

Dacă folosiţi lapte demachiant, vă sfătuim să-l
puneţi direct pe perie.

4 Poziţionaţi peria pe faţă.

5 Apăsaţi butonul pornire pentru a porni

aparatul Visapure.

6 Mişcaţi uşor peria pe faţă făcând mişcări

circulare.

Pentru a obţine cele mai bune rezultate, trebuie
să folosiţi aparatul aproximativ 1, 2 minute în
funcţie de sensibilitatea pielii.

Nu exageraţi cu această procedură. Nu uitaţi că

procesul de curăţare trebuie să fie întotdeauna

plăcut.

Sugestie: În timpul curăţării, evitaţi zonele cu piele
sensibilă cum sunt zona ochilor sau a buzelor.

Îndepărtarea celulelor moarte cu
ajutorul periei exfoliante

1 Pentru a schimba peria, scoateţi-o de pe

pivotul de conectare şi depoziţaţi-o cu

atenţie pe partea din spate a suportului.

2 Fixaţi peria exfoliantă în pivotul de

conectare până auziţi clic.

3 Folosiţi o bentiţă pentru a vă susţine părul

în aşa fel încât acesta să nu se încurce în

perie.

4 Pentru a obţine cele mai bune rezultate,

mai întâi curăţaţi-vă faţa.Apoi umeziţi-vă

faţa cu apă călduţă şi aplicaţi un gel abraziv.

Sugestie: Dacă preferaţi să exfoliaţi suprafaţa pielii
folosind doar un produs de curăţare, vă sfătuim să
amestecaţi în palmă puţin din produsul
dumneavoastră de curăţare cu ajutorul periei
umezite. Puteţi pune produsul de curăţare direct
pe peria umedă.
