Introduction
Your child deserves all the care in the world and that includes haircare. Especially for children up to five, Philips has developed a hairdryer that is less hot and makes less noise.This will help to make hairdrying fun! What's more, thanks to the Bébé babycare dryer, your child will no longer have to go outside with its hair still wet.
The settings give you maximum control.The slide is positioned in a way that enables you to dry your child's hair comfortably and easily.
Of course, this Philips hairdryer is safe. It is equipped with an automatic thermal cut-out, which means that the bebe style dryer will never get too hot.
Important
The Bébé babycare dryer is definitely no toy and should only be used
by parents or guardians. Children from the age of four, however, should be capable of using the appliance themselves, although we do advise not to let them use the appliance unattended.
Check if the voltage indicated on the Bébé babycare dryer
corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
Never block the air grilles.Keep the Bébé babycare dryer away from water!Do not use this product near or over water contained in baths,
washbasins, sinks etc.When used in a bathroom, unplug the appliance after use since the proximity of water presents a risk, even when the hairdryer is switched off.
Always unplug the Bébé babycare dryer after use.If the Bébé babycare dryer overheats, it will switch off automatically.
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down for a few minutes.Before you switch the appliance on again, check the grilles to make sure they are not blocked by fluff, hair, etc.
If the mains cord of this appliance is damaged, it must always be
replaced by a service centre authorised by Philips, as special tools and/or parts are required.
For additional protection, we advise you to install a residual current
device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom.Ask your installer for advice.
Drying
If the mains cord of this appliance is damaged, it must always be
replaced by a service centre authorised by Philips, as special tools and/or parts are required.

Troubleshooting
Problem
The appliance switched off automatically.
Solution
If the appliance overheats, it will switch off automatically. Unplug the appliance and let it cool down for a few minutes.
Before you switch the appliance back on again, check the grilles to make sure they are not blocked by fluff, hair, etc.

1 Select the desired airflow speed (fig. 1).

2 Hold the Bébé style dryer about 25 cm away from the head of the
child to dry the hair in the most caring way (fig. 2).
Attachments
Concentrator
The concentrator enables you to direct the airflow at the brush or
comb with which you are styling the child's hair.
1 Connect the concentrator by simply snapping it onto the
appliance. Disconnect it by pulling it off (fig. 3).
Cleaning
The Bébé style dryer can be cleaned with a small brush or a dry
cloth.
Make sure the attachments are dry before using or storing them.
