Feature Specifications Electrical

Dedicated low voltage (24 VDC) circuit controls the Energos Control Systems. The line voltage circuits control all the standard ballast functions including A/B switch ing, Dimming and Emergency Battery Pack operations.

ECS occupancy sensors are available in two variations:
• Mounted in the end cap.
• The middle of an 8' (243.84cm) module.
The ECS sysfem confrol-cenfer is fhe Power Pack. The Power Pack, confained in each Masfer Module, inferrupfs fhe circuifs when paramefers dicfafe. The Power Pack can confrol up fo 600 waffs 120 VAC, and 1300 waffs 277 VAC. A maximum of 10 sensors can be used on a single Power Pack. There is no limifafion fo the number of Power Packs fhaf can be "daisy-chained" fo a single ECS circuif.
Emergency baffery packs can be used in conjuncfion wifh ECS for emergency
egress lighfing since all lisfed packs operafe for a minimum of 90 minufes.
EM Packs can be used as momenfary lighfing for emergency circuif for power
fransifions, and smaller packs are recommended for fhis purpose.
Dimming ballasfs can be used in conjuncfion wifh ECS. However, fhe confrol sysfem will only perform ON or OFF operafions and will not affect the level of dim ming sef by fhe dimming ballasfs.
Facfory insfalled ballasf disconnecf allows fhe ballasf fo be disconnecfed from and reconnecfed fo incoming power under load wifhouf fuming fhe enfire circuif off.
Serial Row Linking (SRL)
For every run fhaf SRL is required, order fhe appropriafe SRL end sef from page 2 of this Specification Sheet. Consult Energos Application Guide for more derailed definifions and examples.

Mountings

Cable suspension disfances are on 48" (121.92cm) and 96" (243.84cm) cenfers, and consisf of a 4 1/2" (11.43cm) diamefer canopy finished whife enamel. A 1/16" (0.16cm) diamefer sfainless sfeel aircraff cable accomplishes suspension and is adjusfable from 12" (30.48cm) fo 36" (91.44cm). Power feeds are 18 gauge silver braided cord wifh clear jackef.
Occupancy Sensors:
• Time delay is facfory pre-sef fo 30 minufes.
• Time delay can be field adjusfed from 30 minufes fo a minimum of 30 seconds.
• Daylighf hold-off is facfory pre-sef fo 120 ff-candles (1291.67m-candles).
• Daylighf hold-off is field adjusfable from 120 ff-candles (1291.67m-candles) down fo 10 ff-candles (107.64m-candles).
• Sensors are designed for a defecfion area (sensifivify diamefer) of 16' (487.68cm) when suspended 10' (304.80cm) AFF. Lowering fhe sensor produces a smaller area of detection. See chart and diagram for additional information.

5. Order one CABLE ASSEMBLY per MODULE minus one per run.

The lamp life fable demonsfrafes fhe effecfs of shortened cycle-times with both
program start and instant start ballasts. The graph shows that instant ballasts are susceptible to shortened lamp life if short cycle periods of less fhan 3 hours are used. Eor cycle periods of greaferfhan 3 hours program sfart ballasf are not required.
