Highlights

File transfer: HDD, DVD, USB

Thanks to the complete file transferability, you
c

an transfer or copy your multimedia files from
one source to another regardless of whether
the files are stored in the recorder HDD, on a
DVD disc or on your USB flash drive.

One Touch Pause Live TV

Pause Live TV puts you in absolute control.
Onc

e the recorder is turned on, a large builtin memory automatically starts recording the
programme you are watching -- allowing you
to pause, replay or save the programme, any
time. If you need to take a break, you can pause
your 'live' TV programme with just one touch
of a button, and resume watching when it suits
you.

DivX Ultra Certified

With DivX support, you can enjoy DivX
e

ncoded videos in the comfort of your living
room. The DivX media format is an MPEG4based video compression technology that
enables you to save large files such as movies,
trailers and music videos on media, e.g. CD-R/

RW and DVD recordable discs. DivX Ultra
merges DivX playback with great features
including integrated subtitles, multiple audio
languages, multiple tracks and menus into one
convenient file format.

Guide Plus+ on-screen TV guide

GUIDE Plus+ is an Electronic Programme
Gu

ide – a free on-screen TV Guide that shows
what's on TV for the next couple of days and
lets you programme the timer of the DVD
Recorder with the push of a button.

HDD Media Jukebox

Create your very own digital media jukebox
right

in your living room. Transfer MP3, WMA,
MPEG2, DivX, DivX Ultra, Xvid, JPEG and HD
JPEG files quickly and conveniently onto the
recorder's built-in hard disk - from USB thumb
drives, portable media players, digital cameras
and even some AV devices. Play back your
favourite movies, music or photos on your TV
or home theatre system any time you want.
The options are endless, as will be the
enjoyment.

Integrated Freeview tuner

With the Hybrid TV Tuner, you can watch any
p

rogramme - whether it is a digital or analogue
broadcast. While the broadcast industry makes
its transition to digital, the Hybrid TV Tuner
lets you watch analogue transmissions now,
and any up and coming digital ones. You
receive seamless entertainment - now and into
the future.

HDMI 1080p

HDMI 1080p upscaling delivers images that are
c

rystal clear. Movies in standard definition can
now be enjoyed in true high definition
resolution - ensuring more details and more
true-to-life pictures. Progressive Scan
(represented by "p" in "1080p") eliminates the
line structure prevalent on TV screens, again
ensuring relentlessly sharp images. To top it
off, HDMI makes a direct digital connection
that can carry uncompressed digital HD video
as well as digital multi-channel audio, without
conversions to analogue - delivering perfect
picture and sound quality, completely free
from noise.
