Self-contained LED Screen

Simply connect your image source to the rear
connection panel, plug-in the mains supply and
switch on, to enjoy bright, vibrant, flicker-free
images.

ASPTM

Anti-Solarisation ProcessingTM uses Philips
proprietary 45 bit colour processing to completely
eliminate unwanted solarisation effects
commonly seen on dark picture areas of LED
screens.

SmoothPixTM

The excellent picture quality of Candeo is due to
the exceedingly high quality LEDs used in its
manufacture. The LEDs are carefully graded and
selected to ensure that only th ose meeting
stringent standards of light output and colour
purity, are used in Candeo.
Philips SmoothPix technology improves LED
matching still further, by measuring and adjusting
each LED during factory alignment, to pro vi d e
only the highest image quality.

Dynamic Power Control

Displaying images containing large areas of
white, normally requires a special mains supply.
DPC is a Philips development which dynami cally
limits the power used for light i mages and
enables Candeo to be operated from a regular
European mains socket.

PIP

Candeo can display two input sources
simultaneously by overlaying one image on top of
the other (Picture In Picture). This might for
example comprise a computer graphic picture
(via the ‘DVI’ input), forming a background image,
with an overlaid video picture (via the ‘CVBS1’
input), providing a foreground image.
Size and position of PIP image is set using
supplied software application.

Rear Maintenance Access

All maintenance is carried out through four large
doors on the rear. Each door is lockable, to
prevent unauthorised access.

Large Selection of Inputs

Candeo is provided with a large selection of
inputs, both analogue and digita l, ensuring great
versatility.
Indicator LEDs on the connection panel show the
presence of sync pulses on each of the three
main input signal types and also indicate serial
data flow.
