Philips Candeo 120˝ LED screen, easily to install
for a multitude of applications

Until now, there was no suitable solution

that could overcome the issue of size for

full impact and the ambient light conditions.

Traditional plasma and LCD displays cannot

communicate effectively in these situations

due to their limited size and brightness.

Other LED solutions require assembly and

complicated installation.

Therefore Philips LED Display solutions

developed the Candeo range of LED displays,

a Plug and Play LED display solution with a long

lifetime. These seamless Philips LED-based screens,

display all content with ultra-high brightness so

viewing is crystal clear, even in bright ambient

conditions. Making them perfect for the retail,

transport, entertainment and leisure markets.

Extensive research has shown that out-of-home dynamic communication is

becoming increasingly important as this form of media develops rapidly across

the world. The most effective communication in larger indoor and outdoor

environments occurs from a distance of 5 to 50 meters.

Floor-standing Pedestal (indoor)

The pedestal provides an elegant, versatile and

safe floor-mount for Candeo indoor screens.

Stylish curved support arms provide a sturdy

mounting yet retain a lightweight look.

Modular construction for easy handling and

transport. Cables run inside pedestal for neat

appearance.

Wall Bracket (indoor and outdoor)

The bracket enables a Candeo screen to be

mounted flat against a wall, with a minimum

of depth behind the Candeo. Bracket is

completely invisible from in front of Candeo.

The bracket allows the Candeo to be hinged

800 mm away from the wall for easy

maintenance. As the Candeo pivots outwards,

it moves also sideways by approx. 800 mm.

The direction of sideways movement is

selectable, left- or right-handed. Bracket can

be locked in normal position to prevent

unauthorised opening.

Anti-Solarization Processing is Philips’ proprietary combination of true

48 bit color (16 bit per color) processing with true 16 bit LED driver

technology that completely eliminates disturbing solarization effects

commonly visible in dark scenes on LED screens.

SmoothPix

TM

The excellent picture quality of Philips LED displays is due to the

exceedingly high quality LEDs used in their manufacture. SmoothPixTM

calibration further improves LED matching by measuring and adjusting

each LED during factory alignment, resulting in perfect brightness and

color uniformity.

DPC

TM

Dynamic Power Control dynamically limits the peak power within a

panel to a predetermined value. Small, bright areas are boosted to

peak output levels whilst large area brightness is limited to enable

Candeo to be operated from a regular European mains socket.

Large Selection of Inputs

Candeo is provided with a large selection of inputs, both analogue and

digital, ensuring great versatility.

Indicator LEDs on the connection panel show the presence of sync

pulses on each of the three main input signal types and also indicate

serial data flow.
