RCT Remote Control Transmitter
When used in conjunction with a Bodine emergency ballast equipped with the RCT remote control testing feature, this remote control transmitter allows end users to test emergency ballast
operation from a remote location.

Operation
1. Aim the remote control transmitter at the infrared receiver mounted in or on the lighting fixture.
2. Press the 30 SEC key to initiate a 30-second timed test or the 90 MIN key to initiate a 90-minute timed test.
3. Observe emergency ballast operation and record test results.
4. Use the RESET key to cancel an unintentional test at any time.
5. When testing is complete, the emergency ballast returns to the charging mode.
Maintenance
1. Do not expose the unit to high temperature, strong sunlight, high humidity, mechanical shock or dust
2. Do not use old and new batteries together.
3. Keep the unit clean with soft, dry cloth.
4. Do not disassemble unit.
Troubleshooting
1. Check for noticeable damage.
2. Check if the batteries are low or inserted improperly.
3. If transmission appears weak, replace batteries.

How To Install The Batteries
This remote control transmitter requires 2 AAA-size batteries (alkaline-type recommended).
1. Remove the battery cover on the back.
2. Observe the polarity of the batteries and the +/- marks inside the battery compartment.
3. Insert the batteries.
4. Push the battery cover back in place.
