When the HDMI OUT jack is outputting the video in 1080p/24, picture will not be output from the VIDEO OUT jack.
When connected to an HDCP incompatible display device, the picture will not be displayed properly.
The audio signals from the HDMI OUT jack (including the sampling frequency, the number of channels and bit length) may be limited by the device that is connected.
Among the display device(s) that support HDMI, some do not support audio output (for example, projectors). While connected to a device such as a projector, audio will not be output from the HDMI OUT jack.
When this unit’s HDMI OUT jack is connected to a DVI-D compatible display device(s) (HDCP compatible) with an HDMI-DVI converter cable, the signals are output in digital RGB.
When you make a selection, the TV monitor temporarily goes blank and then comes back again. If it does not come back, press [HDMI] repeatedly to change the resolution or press and hold [B (play)] on the front panel for 5 seconds to change the setting back to its default.
Copyright protection system
To play back the digital video images of a BD-video or DVD-video via an HDMI connection, it is necessary that both the player and the display device (or an AV receiver / amplifier) support a copyright protection system called HDCP (high-bandwidth digital content protection system). HDCP is copy protection technology that comprises data encryption and authentication of the connected AV device. This unit supports HDCP. Please read the operating instructions of your display device (or an AV receiver / amplifier) for more information.

At its option, the company will either (1) repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new, or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent or most comparable to the original product in current inventory, or (3) refund the original purchase price of the product. The Company warrants replacement products or parts provided under this warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of the replacement or repair for ninety (90) days or for the remaining portion of the original product’s warranty, whichever provides longer coverage for you. Non-Philips manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers may provide a separate warranty for their own products packaged with the bundled product.
The Company is not liable for any damage to or loss of any programs, data, or other information stored on any media contained within the product, or any non-Philips product or part not covered by this warranty. Recovery or reinstallation of programs, data or other information is not covered under this Limited Warranty.
This warranty does not apply (a) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, misapplication, or non-Philips product, (b) to damage caused by service performed by anyone other than an Authorized Service Location, (c) to a product or

The licenses for most software are desi and chan

our freedom to share and change free software--to make sure the software
s free for all its users This license, the Lesser General Public License, applies to some specially designated software
ackages--typically libraries--of the Free Software Foundation and other
authors who decide to use it. You can use it too, but we su
arefully about whether this license or the ordinary General Public License is the etter strategy to use in any particular case, based on the explanations below
When we speak of free software, we are referring to freedom of use, not price.
ur General Public Licenses are designed to make sure that you have the freedom o distribute copies of free software (and charge for this service if you wish); hat you receive source code or can get it if you want it; that you can change the
software and use

We protect your rights with a two-step method: (1) we copyright the library, and
2) we offer you this license, which gives you legal permission to copy, distribute

he original author's reputation will not be affected by problems that might be
ntroduced by others
Finally, software patents pose a constant threat to the existence of any free pro-
ram. We wish to make sure that a company cannot effectively restrict the users
f a free program by obtaining a restrictive license from a patent holder. Therefore,
we insist that an
onsistent with the full freedom of use specifi ed in this license
Most GNU software, including some libraries, is covered by the ordinary GNU
eneral Public License. This license, the GNU Lesser General Public License, aplies to certain designated libraries, and is quite different from the ordinary General ublic License. We use this license for certain libraries in order to permit linkin
hose libraries into non-free programs
When a program is linked with a
he combination of the two is legally speaking a combined work, a derivative of the
inal library. The ordinary General Public License therefore permits such linkin if the entire combination fi ts its criteria of freedom. The Lesser General Public
License
ermits more lax criteria for linking other code with the librar
We call this license the "Lesser" General Public License because it does Less
rotect the user's freedom than the ordinary General Public License. It also
rovides other free software developers Less of an advantage over competing non-
free
rams. These disadvantages are the reason we use the ordinary General
ublic License for many libraries. However, the Lesser license provides advantages
n certain special circumstances For example, on rare occasions, there may be a special need to encourage the widest
ossible use of a certain library, so that it becomes a de-facto standard. To
achieve this, non-free
uent case is that a free library does the same job as widely used non-free libraries. In this case, there is little to we use the Lesser General Public License In other cases, permission to use a particular library in non-free programs enables a
reater number of people to use a large body of free software. For example,
ermission to use the GNU C Library in non-free programs enables many more
le to use the whole GNU operating system, as well as its variant, the GNU/
nux operating system
Although the Lesser General Public License is Less protective of the users' free-
om, it does ensure that the user of a program that is linked with the Library has

The "Library", below, refers to any such software librar y or work which has been

For a library, complete source code means all the source code fo all modules it contains, used to control com Activities other than copying, distribution and modifi cation are not covered by this License; the
