SUPPLY

atteries

B

• Insert two alkaline batteries (R6, UM3 or AA) as
indicated.

• Remove the batteries if they are exhausted or if
they are not to be used for a long time.

Mains adaptor

– The adaptor must supply 3V DC ->+.

• Connect the mains adaptor to the DC 3V socket.
The 1.3 mm centre pin of the 3.5 mm adaptor
plug must be connected to the minus pole -.

RADIO RECEPTION

• Set TAPE/RADIO to RADIO.

• Connect the headphones to p.

• Set FM-MW(AM) to FM or MW.

• Tune to the desired radio station using TUNING.

– The headphone lead will function as FM-aerial.

For

MW(AM)

the set is provided with a built-in
aerial. The aerial can be directed by turning the
whole set.

– The FM STEREO indicator lights up when

receiving a FM stereo programme.

•Adjust the sound with VOLUME and DBB
(Dynamic Bass Boost).

General Information

•The set is switched off when TAPE/RADIO is in
the TAPE position and no cassette player button
is pressed.

PLAYING BACK CASSETTES

•Set TAPE/RADIO to TAPE.

•Connect the headphones to p.

•Open the cassette holder and insert a cassette
with the open part facing the buttons and the full
reel on your left.

•To start playback, press 2.

•Adjust the sound with VOLUME and DBB
(Dynamic Bass Boost).

•To stop, press 9 and the set is switched off.

–At the end of the tape the 2 button is

automatically released and the set is switched
off.

•For fast winding, press 6.
To stop press 9.
Press 9 when the tape reaches the end.

ALIMENTATION
Piles

• Mettre en place comme indiqué deux piles
alkalines, type R6, UM3 ou AA.

• Enlever les piles dès qu'elles sont usées ou si
elles ne serviront pas pendant une longue
période.

Adaptateur secteur

– L’adaptateur doit fournir 3V DC ->+.

• Branchez l’adaptateur secteur sur la prise DC 3V.

Branchez la broche centrale de 1,3 mm de la prise
de 3,5 mm sur le pôle négatif -.

RÉCEPTION RADIO

• Set TAPE/RADIO to RADIO.

Brancher le casque sur p.

•

Placer

FM-MW(AM) sur FM ou MW.

•

Régler sur la station radio souhaitée en utilisant
TUNING.

– Le câble du casque fonctionne comme antenne FM.

Pour MW/AM, l’appareil est équipé d’une
antenne incorporé. Orienter l’ensemble de
l’appareil.

– Le voyant FM STEREO s’allume lors de la

réception d’un programme FM stéréo.

•Adjuster le son avec VOLUME et DBB (Dynamic

Bass Boost).

Généralités

•L'appareil est hors circuit si TAPE/RADIO se
trouve sur TAPE et qu'aucune touche du lecteur
n'est pressée.

LECTURE DE CASSETTES

•Placer TAPE/RADIO sur TAPE.

•Brancher le casque sur p.

•Ouvrir le porte-cassette et y introduire la
cassette, la partie ouverte en face des touches et
la bobine pleine à votre gauche.

•Commencer la lecture en pressant 2.

•Adjuster le son avec VOLUME et DBB (Dynamic
Bass Boost).

•Pour arrêter la lecture, presser 9 et l'appareil est
mis hors circuit.

–A la fin de la bande, le bouton 2 se relâche

automatiquement et l’appareil est mis hors
tension.

•Bobinage rapide: Presser 6.
Pour arrêter, presser 9.
A la fin de la bande, presser 9.

ALIMENTACIÓN
Pilas

• Colocar como indicado dos pilas alcalinas del
tipo R6, UM3 o AA.

• Sacar las pilas si están agotadas o cuando no se
vaya a usar el aparato durante mucho tiempo.

Adaptador de red

– El adaptador ha de suministrar una corriente

continua de 3V DC ->+.

• Conecte el adaptador de red a la toma DC 3V.

Conecte la patilla central de 1,3 mm del enchufe
de 3,5 mm al polo negativo -.

RECEPCIÓN DE RADIO

• Pongan TAPE/RADIO en RADIO.

• Conectar el auricular a p.

• Ponga el conmutador AM/FM en la posición AM
o FM.

• Sintonice la banda deseada utilizando TUNING .

– El cordón del auricular funciona como antena de FM.
– Para MW/AM, el aparato lleva incorporada una

antena. Para orientar la antena gire el aparato,
hasta que la recepción sea óptima.

– El indicador FM STEREO se enciende cuando se

está recibiendo un programa estéroe en FM.

USE YOUR HEAD WHEN USING HEADPHONES
Hearing safety: Do not play your headphones at a

high volume. Hearing experts advise that
continuous use at high volume can permanently
damage hearing.
Traffic safety: Do not use headphones while
driving a vehicle. It may create a traffic hazard and
it is illegal in many countries. Even if your
headphones are an open-air type designed to let
you hear outside sounds, do not turn up the
volume so high that you cannot hear what is going
on around you.

MAINTENANCE

•Clean the magnetic head after every 50 hours of
operation or, on average, once a month by playing
through a cleaning cassette.

•Do not expose the set and cassettes to rain,
moisture, sand, or to excessive heat from e.g.
heating equipment or in cars parked in the sun.

•Use a soft, slightly dampened chamois leather to
clean the housing.

Troubleshooting

Do not use any strong or corrosive cleaning
agents such as thinner, benzene, etc. as these
will damage your set.

CASQUE

CUANDO USE AURICULARES

Das Kopfhörerkabel funktioniert als UKW-Antenne.
Für MW (AM) hat das Gerät eine eingebaute
Antenne. Zum Ausrichten der Antenne das ganze
Gerät drehen.

– Die FM STEREO-Anzeige leuchtet wenn Sie einen

UKW-Stereo-Sender empfangen.

•Ton mit VOLUME und DBB (Dynamic Bass
Boost) einstellen.

auf TAPE steht und keine Cassettentaste

–Bei Erreichen des Bandenes wird die Taste 2

automatisch freigegeben und das Gerät wird
ausgeschaltet.

•Bandschnellauf: auf 6 drücken.
Zum stoppen, auf 9 drücken.
Am Bandende 9 drücken.

STROOMVOORZIENING
Batterijen

• Zet zoals aangegeven twee Alkaline batterijen in,
type R6, UM3 of AA.

• Verwijder de batterijen als zij leeg zijn of als zij
lange tijd niet gebruikt zullen worden.

Netvoedingsadapter

– De adapter moet 3V DC ->+ gelijkstroom

leveren.

• Sluit de netadapter aan op de bus DC 3V.

De 1,3 mm middenpen van de 3,5 mm stekker
van de adapter moet aangesloten worden op de
minpool -.

RADIO RECEPTION

Zet TAPE/RADIO op RADIO.

door het hele apparaat te draaien.

automatisch ontgrendeld en het apparaat is
uitgeschakeld.

•Om snel te spoelen, druk op 6.
Om te stoppen drukt u op 9.
Druk op 9 Als de cassette speler het einde van
de band bereikt.

•L'apparecchio è spento se TAPE/RADIO è in

RIPRODUZIONE DELLE CASSETTE

•Portate TAPE/RADIO su TAPE.

•Aprite il portacassetta ed inserite la cassetta con
il lato aperto di fronte ai tasti e la bobina piena a
sinistra.

•Iniziate la riproduzione premendo 2.

•Regolate il suono con VOLUME e DBB (Dynamic

•Per arrestare la riproduzione premete 9 e
l'apparecchio si spegne.

–Al termine del nastro, il bottone 2 verrà

automaticamente rilasciato e l’unità spenta.

•Avvolgimento rapido: Premete 6.

KOPFHÖRER JA - ABER MIT KÖPFCHEN
Sicherheit beim Hören: Stellen Sie keine zu hohe

Lautstärke ein. Fachleute raten von kontinuierlichem
Musikhören mit hoher Lautstärke über einen
längeren Zeitraum ab, da hierdurch das Gehör
Schaden nehmen kann.

Sicherheit im Straßenverkehr: Verwenden Sie
den Kopfhörer nicht beim Fahren. Dies kann die
Sicherheit im Straßenverkehr beeinträchtigen und
ist in vielen Ländern verboten. Auch wenn Sie
einen ’offenen’ Kopfhörer verwenden, mit dem Sie
Außengeräusche wahrnehmen können, sollten Sie
die Lautstärke immer so einstellen, daß Sie noch
hören können, was um Sie herum vorgeht.

WARTUNG

• Reinigen Sie den Tonkopf nach jeweils 50 Betriebs­stunden oder einmal im Monat indem Sie eine Rei­nigungscassette einmal durchlaufen lassen.

• Schützen Sie das Gerät und die Cassetten vor
Regen, anderer Feuchtigkeit, Sand und
übermäßiger Erhitzung, z.B. bei Heizungsgeräten
oder im Inneren von in der Sonne geparkten Autos.

Fehlersuche

•Das Gehäuse mit einem weichen und leicht
angefeuchteten Lederlappen reinigen.
Keine Reinigungsmittel, die Alkohol, Spiritus oder
Ammoniak enthalten, und keine Scheuermittel
benutzen, diese können das Gerät angreifen.

GEBRUIK UW HOOFDTELEFOON VERSTANDIG
Wees zuinig op uw gehoor: Zet het geluid niet te

hard. Specialisten waarschuwen ervoor dat
langdurig luisteren met een hoge geluidssterkte
uw gehoor kan beschadigen.

Verkeersveiligheid: Gebruik de hoofdtelefoon niet
bij het besturen van een voertuig. Dit brengt de
verkeersveiligheid in gevaar en is in veel landen
zelfs verboden. Ook als u een ’open’ hoofdtelefoon
gebruikt waarmee u geluiden van buiten ook nog
kunt horen, moet u het geluid nooit zo hard zetten
dat u niet meer kunt horen wat er rondom u
gebeurt.

ONDERHOUD

•Houd de magneetkop schoon door na elke 50 uur
gebruik of gemiddeld eens per maand een
reinigingscassette af te spelen.

•Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan regen, vocht,
zand en te grote hitte, bijv. in auto's die in de zon
staan geparkeerd.

•Maak de behuizing schoon met een zachte, licht
bevochtigde zeemlap.

Foutzoeklijst

•Gebruik geen reinigingsmiddelen die alcohol,
spiritus, ammonia of schurende bestanddelen
bevatten, omdat deze het apparaat kunnen
beschadigen.

MET HET OOG OP HET MILIEU

weggelaten. Wij hebben ons uiterste best gedaan
om de verpakking zodanig te maken dat deze
gemakkelijk in de volgende twee monomaterialen

QUANDO USATE UNA CUFFIA
Ascolto sicuro: Non regolare il volume della cuffia

al massimo valore. Gli esperti dell’udito avvertono
che l’ascolto continuo al massimo volu- me può
danneggiare permanentemente l’udito.

Sicuro nel traffico: Non adoperate la cuffia quando
andate in motocicletta. Può essere pericoloso ed è
illegale in molte nazioni. Se la vostra cuffia è del
tipo ad aria aperta, regolare il volume in modo che
il rumore ambientale sia davvero udibile.

MANUTENZIONE

•Togliete ogni 50 ore di funzionamento od una
volta al mese la polvere accumulatasi sulla testina
magnetica mediante la cassetta di pulizia.

•Evitate di esporre l'apparecchio e le cassette a
pioggia, umidità, sabbia od a calore eccessivo
causato, p.e. da impianti di riscaldamento o
nell'automobile parcheggiata al sole.

•Pulite l’apparecchio con una pelle di daino
leggermente inumidita. Non utilizzate detersivi
che contengono alcool, ammoniaca o sostanze
abrasive, in quanto possono danneggiare
l’apparecchio.
