1 Important safety

3 Get started
Always follow the instructions in this chapter in sequence.
Option 2: Battery power
Caution
• Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should
be disposed of properly.
Connect power
The unit can only be powered by supplied AC power. Batteries are only used for time and alarm backup if not connected with AC power.
Option 1: AC power
Warning
• Risk of product damage! Make sure that the power
supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back or the underside of the unit.
• Risk of electric shock! When you disconnect the AC
power, always pull the plug from the socket. Never pull the cord.
Connect the AC power cord to the wall socket.
Tip
• To save energy, turn the unit off after use.
Note
• Batteries are not supplied with the accessories.

1 Open the battery compartment. 2 Insert 2 batteries (type: 1.5V LR6/AA) with
correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
3 Close the battery compartment.

4 Play from
1 Rotate the Third Knob to "SET TIME" to
activate clock setting mode.
» Hour and minute digits blinks.
2 Rotate the First Knob to adjust the hour. 3 Rotate the Second Knob to adjust the
minute.
4 Press OK on the First Knobtoconrm.
» The setting time is displayed.
5 Rotate the Third Knob to CLOCK after
setting.
» The hour and minute digits stops
blinking.
Turn on
The clock radio turns on automatically once your plugged in.
Bluetooth device
Note
• The effective operation range between the Bluetooth
speaker and the paired device is approximately 10 meters (30 feet).
• Keep this Bluetooth speaker away from other electronic
devices that may cause interference.
• Make sure that the Third Knob switches to CLOCK
before setting.
1 Press SOURCE repeatedly to select
Bluetooth source.
» onthedisplaypanelashes.
2 Activate the Bluetooth function in your
Bluetooth device (see the device user manual).
3 Select “AJT600” displayed on your device
for pairing.
» If connection is successful, the
Bluetooth speaker beeps twice and steadily on.
4 Start music play on your Bluetooth device.
» If Bluetooth disconnected, the music
will pause. Press on the Bluetooth device to start play again.

Bluetooth reset
In Bluetooth mode, press OK ontherst knob for over 5 seconds to erase all pairing informations.
» "BT RESET" displayes on the panel.
• The Bluetooth speaker enters Bluetooth mode automatically after erase completed.

Set alarm timer
Note
• Make sure that the Third Knob switched to CLOCK
before setting.
• The speaker can not pair with other Bluetooth devices
in AUDIO IN mode.
You can listen to audio from an external device through this Bluetooth speaker.
1 Connect an audio cable to:
• the AUDIO IN socket on the Bluetooth speaker.
• the headphone socket on an external device.
2 Press SOURCE repeatedly to select the
Audio-in source.
» The on the display panel lights up.
3 Play audio on the external device (refer to
its user manual).
You can set two alarms to ring at different time.
Note
• Make sure that you have set the clock correctly.
1 Rotate the Third Knob to SET AL1 or SET
AL2 to activate alarm setting mode.
» The /  and time digits blink.
2 Rotate the First Knob to adjust the hour. 3 Rotate the Second Knob to adjust the
minute.
4 Press OK on First Knobtoconrm. 5 Rotate the Third Knob to CLOCK after
setting.
Select alarm source
You can select buzzer, sound 1,or sound 2 as your alarm sound.

Activate/deactivate alarm timer
Note
• Make sure that the Third Knob switched to CLOCK
before setting.
Press AL1/AL2 to activate or deactivate the alarm timer.
» The /  appears if alarm timer is on and
disappears if it is off.
To stop the ringing alarm, press the corresponding AL1/AL2.
» The alarm repeats ringing for the next day.
Snooze the alarm
When alarm sounds, press SNOOZE.
» The alarm snoozes and repeats ringing nine
minutes later.
Set sleep timer
Note
• Make sure that the Third Knob switched to CLOCK
before setting.
Adjust display brightness
This Bluetooth speaker can switch to standby mode automatically after a preset period.
• Press SLEEP repeatedly to select the sleep timer period (in minutes).
» When the sleep timer is activated,
appears.
To deactivate the sleep timer:
• Press SLEEP repeatedly until [OFF] (off) appears.

If the problem remains unsolved, go to the Philips Web page (www. philips.com/support). When you contact Philips, make sure that the device is nearby and the model number and serial number are available.
No power
Ensure that the power cord is connected securely.
Ensure that there is power at the power supply socket.
Ensure that the batteries are installed correctly.
No response from the Bluetooth speaker
Disconnect and reconnect the AC power plug, then turn on the Bluetooth speaker again.
Check if you have selected the correct audio source.
Make sure that your Bluetooth device is within the effective operation range.
Alarm does not work
Set the clock/alarm correctly.
Clock/alarm setting erased
Power has been interrupted or the power plug has been disconnected.
Reset the clock/alarm.
