Highlights
Dimming creates atmosphere
Multiple lights in a room let the room appear more vivid as this emphasizes different corners and sides. By dimming these lights, you can create atmospheres from cosy to vibrant.
8 years lifetime
Energy saving lamps have a longer lifetime than standard bulbs. With these 8 years lifetime, one energy saver replaces 8 standard bulbs. So they save money and last longer, year after year. The lifetime is based on the average usage of 2,7 hrs per day or
1.000 hrs a year. This average is influenced by the usage during different seasons (dark winter vs light summer), the weather conditions (sunny vs rainy dark day) and on the room where the lamp is used (short usage in bathroom vs long usage in living room).
Connect to LivingAmbiance
Plug the LivingWhites luminaire control plug between your luminaire and the wall socket, and the luminaire will work with other LivingAmbiance products. This allows you to control a luminaire you already have at home with a LivingAmbiance remote control, and to connect it to other LivingAmbiance products. You can now make your own luminaire part of the scene! Attention: the luminaire you connect to the LivingWhites plug should not have a touch dimmer.
Adjust one light or all
When connected to other Philips LivingAmbiance products, you can change color, dim or adjust intensity of colored light luminaires and dim white light luminaires.

Dimming without a wall dimmer
You can dim the LivingWhites bulb with either a LivingWhites or a LivingAmbiance remote control. Any Philips remote control that has the SmartLink label will work to dim this bulb.
All of the LivingAmbiance products work together via the same intuitive remote control, with which you can dim or change the colour of your lights – individually or together – in any combination you please. You can recognize which products work together by looking at the box or the product itself. If there is a SmartLink logo, it means the product will work with other SmartLink products.

* Breaking a lamp is extremely unlikely to have any impact on your
health. If a lamp brakes, ventilate the room for 30 minutes and remove the parts, preferably with gloves. Put them in a closed plastic bag and offer it to the local waste facilities for recycling. Do not use a vacuum cleaner.
* * Compact fluorescent lamps have to be treated as special waste,
they must be offered to the local waste facilities for recycling. The European Lighting Industry has set up an infrastructure, capable of recycling mercury, other metals, glass, etc.
