3D combfilter

A 3D combfilter is a device that performs field-by-field
comparisons of the television image to accurately
separate the color from the black-and-white
information. It separates brightness and color signals
better in the 3D domain to eliminate cross-color,
cross-luminance and dot-crawl distortion - all of which
detract from your viewing pleasure.

Multi-Point Digital Converge

Transporting a projection TV may cause its three
picture tubes to become misaligned. This can result in
noticeably poorer picture quality and color bleeding.
Multi-point digital convergence allow you to use the
remote control to adjust picture convergence
electronically at 35 points on the TV's screen using
the 'Convergence' section of the Picture menu. This
optimizes the picture from corner-to-corner to
minimize effects from natural or man-made magnetic
fields in the room where you locate your projection
TV. You always get the best possible picture.

Dolby Digital

Because Dolby Digital and DTS, the world's leading
digital multi-channel audio standards, make use of
the way the human ear naturally processes sound,
you experience superb quality surround sound audio
with realistic spatial cues.

Widescreen movie modes

Enhance your viewing experience with Widescreen
movie modes, which lets you choose the screen
format from various options. View your movie the way
it is meant to be.

HDMI

HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface.
It is a direct digital connection that can carry digital
HD video as well as digital multichannel audio. By
eliminating the conversion to analog signals it
delivers perfect picture and sound quality, completely
free from noise.

Component Video Input (YPbPr

Component Video is the highest quality
interconnection standard for analog video. It is
sharper than S-video and composite video. Philips
DVD recorders can record directly from component
video (such as YPbPr) sources including satellite
receivers
