After updating the TV software (to version 64.67.3 or higher), OPTION can no longer be used to enlarge teletext pages.

The section “Use dual screen teletext” in this user manual instructs you to press Dual screen to display normal teletext when dual screen teletext is enabled.

3.1Position theTV
In addd ition to read ing and und erstand ing the safety instructions in Section 1.1, consid er the follow ing before p ositioning y our TV:
•The id eal view ing d istance for w atching TV is three times its screen size.
•Position the TV w here light d oes not fall on the screen.
•Connect y our d evices before y ou p osition y our TV.
•Your TV is equippp ed w ith a Kensington Security Slot at the back of the TV.
If connecting an anti-theft Kensington lock (not suppp lied ), p osition the TV w ithin reach of a p ermanent object (such as a table) that can be easily attached to the lock.
•For the best Ambilight effect, p osition the TV 10cm (four inches) to 20cm (eight inches) aw ay from the w all.Ambilight w orks best in a room w ith d im lighting.

Step 2 Remove theTV stand
DDNote
These instructions are only appp licable to TV mod els w ith mounted stand s. If y our TV stand is not mounted , skip to Step 3 Secure the VESA-compatible wall bracket to the TV. TV stand s may d iffer in shap e on some TV mod els.
1.Carefully p lace the TV face d ow n on a flat, stable surface that is covered by soft cloth.The cloth should be thick enough to p rotect y our screen.
2.Using a cross-head screwdd river (not suppp lied ), unscrew the four bolts that secure the stand to the TV.
3.Firmly p ull the stand from the bottom of the TV. Place both the stand and bolts in a secure location for future reinstallation.
Step 3 Secure theVESA-compatible wall bracket to theTV
1.Locate the four mounting nuts at the back of the TV.
2.Continue w ith the instructions p rovid ed w ith y our VESA-comp atible w all bracket.
DDNOTE
When securing the VESA-comp atible w all bracket to y our TV, use M6 bolts for 32 inch mod els or M8 bolts for larger mod els (bolts not suppp lied ).

1.Locate the TV ANTENNA connector at the back of the TV.
2.Connect one end of an antenna cable (not suppp lied ) to the TV ANTENNA connector. Use an ad ap tor if the antenna cable d oes not fit.
3.Connect the other end of the antenna cable to y our antenna outlet, ensuring that the cable is tightly secured at both end s.
BBWARNING
Verify that y our mains voltage corresp ond s w ith the voltage p rinted at the back of the TV. Do not insert the mains cord if the voltage is d ifferent.

3.6Switch on theTV
The first time y ou sw itch on the TV, check that the mains cord is p rop erly connected .When readyy , turn on the mains (if mains sw itch is available), then p ress POWER on the sid e of the TV.

Certain TV mod els require y ou to p ress and hold POWER for up to tw o second s. A beep sound ind icates that y our TV is sw itched on.Your TV may take up to 15 second s to start.

4.1.4 Switch on theTV from standby
•If the stand by ind icator is on (red ), p ress . STANDBY on the remote control.

4.2WatchTV
4.2.1 Switch channels
•Press a number (1 to 999) or p ress P +/- on y our remote control.
•Press PROGRAM +/- on the sid e controls of the TV.
•Press on the remote control to return to the p reviously -view ed TV channel.
4.2.2 Switch channels (digital receiver)
1.Sw itch on the d igital receiver.
2.Press SOURCE on the remote control then select the inp ut y our d igital receiver is connected to.
3.Press OK to select the d igital receiver.
4.Use the remote control of the d igital receiver to select TV channels.
4.2.3 Adjust volume
•Press VOLUME + or - on the remote control.
•Press VOLUME + or - on the sid e controls of y our TV.
•Press on the remote control to mute the sound . Press
again to un-mute the sound .

If headpp hones are connected , ad just headpp hone volume as d escribed in Section 5.3.5 Adjust sound settings.You must p ress the
MUTE button on the remote control to mute aud io from the TV sp eakers. Pressing VOLUME +/- buttons turns on the TV sp eakers again.
4.3Access DVB-C and DVB-T channel networks
If y ou have both DVB-C and DVB-T installed , y ou can access channels from both netw orks.
1.Press MENU.
2.Select TV menu > Installation > Installation mode.
3.Select Cable (to access DVB-C channels) or Antenna (to access DVB-T channels).
4.Sw itch betw een DVB-C or DVB-T channels as d escribed in Section 4.2.1 Switch channels.
