HDTV
HDTV delivers exceptional picture quality and real movieviewing experience that makes television more dynamic,
tr uer tha n an yth ing y ou' ve s een befo re. It i s th e la tes t an d
best television signal available. It features picture quality
more than twice that of traditional analog broadcasts. In
order to effectively maximize the HDTV signal, a
television must incorporate advanced signal input
connectivity and circuitry design. To use HDTV the TV
must be connected via its Component Video, DVI or
HDMI inputs to a DTV set-top box and set to operate in
the DTV mode.
Pixel Plus
This set uses the power of the Pixel Plus processor to
increase the number of lines and the number of pixels.
The result is razor sharp pictures with incredible detail
and dept, every time from any source.
HDMI input
HDMI makes an uncompressed digital RGB connection
from the source to the screen. By eliminating conversion
to an a nalo g si gnal, i t de liv ers an u nbl emi she d im age. Th e
non-degraded signal reduces flicker and leads to a clearer
picture. HDMI intelligently communicates the highest
output resolution with the source device. The HDMI input
is fully backward compatible with DVI sources but
includes digital audio. HDMI uses HDCP copy protection.
SmartPlug™ Interface
The Smartplug interface permits OEM or 3rd party
decoders and controllers to interface with the TV.
Security Menu Access
Provides conditional access to installation and
configuration settings via a special code or master remote
control
Front Controls Locking
Prevents unauthorised access to TV functions
Volume Control Locking
This feature predefines the volume range in which the TV
set can operate, preventing excessive volume adjustments
avoiding disturbance of next door guests.
Switch On Channel Programming
It forces the TV set to a specified channel when turned on.
