100Hz

Conventional TV shows a picture by scanning
50

times per second (50Hz). This frequency
can be detected by the human eye in the form
of a flickering picture. 100Hz sets show a
picture by scanning 100 times per second, thus
eliminating the field flickering. The result is a
more stable picture that is relaxing for your
eye.

Progressive Scan

Progressive Scan doubles the vertical
resolution of the image resulting in a noticeably
sharper picture. Instead of sending a field
comprising the odd lines to the screen first,
followed by the field with the even lines, both
fields are written at one time. A full image is
created instantaneously, using the maximum
resolution. At such a speed, your eye perceives
a sharper picture with no line structure.

Incredible Surround™

Incredible Surround is an audio technology
