Product highlights
Digital terrestrial tuner
Integrated tuner for superb digital signal reception through
the standard aerial input : high quality digital free-to-air
services with better picture and sound quality, without
reception noise and disturbances.The sensitivity has been
improved highly in comparison with former generations.This
can be favourable areas where the signal is potentially
weaker.
Impulse noise behaviour
A new technology has been applied to reduce bad reception
cause by cars driving by and domestic appliances.Where in
former iDTV generations the sparkplug of a car driving by
could result in blocks in the video, this generation will
hardly show any picture artifact anymore.
Real Flat Black Line S
Philips TV picture tube provides non-distorted picture quality,
while offering a wider viewing angle without light reflections.
Thanks to the highly pigmented phosphors, the brightness
and contrast performance are considerably improved
compared to conventional picture tubes.
Crystal Clear III
A unique package of picture innovations including Combfilter,
Scavem, Dynamic Contrast. Crystal Clear III, using 10 bit
processing, offers 30% more contrast, natural colors and a high
level of detail.
Application Manager
Pressing 'Digital menu' on the remote control will show a
page with scaled video that can assist in star ting and stopping of interactive content, even if not automatically star ted
by the broadcaster.With this feature you are always in full
control of interactivity.
Dolby Virtual
Dolby processing circuitry for an enhanced cinema surround
sound effect without the need for rear speakers.
Plug & Play
The ultimate ease of use feature for quick automatic
