Digital Deflection CPU
An exclusive Philips innovation -- the world's first one-chip
CRT solution -- combines the deflection and the
Microcontroller in a single chip to process and control input
sync digitally. This innovative technology prevents electronic
noise that can harm display quality, reduces display jitter
and improves geometry for better front of screen
performance.
High Bright Hot Key
A feature that delivers instant brightness adjustment to the
ideal level for viewing text, Internet, game or multimedia
applications, providing comfortable viewing and an
enhanced experience for each type of application.
SXGA, 1280 x 1024 resolution
For graphics monitors, the screen resolution signifies the
number of dots (pixels) on the entire screen. For example,
a 1 280-b y-102 4 pix el scr een is capab le of d ispl aying 1280
distinct dots on each of 1024 lines, or about 1.3 million
pixels.
Real flat CRT display
Philips advanced flat CRT technology reduces glare and
reflection more efficiently than a conventional CRT. The
special high-bright, high-contrast shadow mask helps
maintain sharper focus and eliminates 'color blooming'
compared to standard tubes. It displays images on a
monitor that look like images on paper: Viewing the image
is more comfortable. Straight lines are straight. Finding a
re fle ction-f ree v iew ing p osi tio n is muc h ea sier. T his add s up
to reduced eyestrain for a comfortable viewing experience.
High-bright-high-contrast tube
A CRT tube designed to increase display brightness and
contrast by increasing the CRT ray gun's beam current.
sRGB ready
sRGB is an industry standard that ensures the best possible
match between the colors displayed on your screen and
those in your printouts.
Large viewing area
Viewing area is the visible portion of a monitor screen
available for displaying data.
Platform compatibility
The ability to work with a variety of platforms; Philips
monitors are compatible to connect with PCs and
workstation by employing a VGA connection and connect
with Macintosh.
Lead-free
Lead-free display products are designed and produced in
compliance with strict European Community Restriction of
Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards that restrict lead
and other toxic substances that can harm the environment.
Energy efficiency
Reduction of the electrical power required to operate a
device to achieve real savings.
TCO '03 compliance
A TCO (Swedish Confederation of Professional Employees)
standard even more stringent than MPR-II for safety and
ergonomics, especially concerning alternating electric fields
(AEF).
