Digital Deflection CPU
An exclusive Philips innovation -- the world's first onechip CRT solution -- combines the deflection and the Microcontroller in a single chip to process and control input sync digitally. This innovative technology prevents electronic noise that can harm display quality, reduces display jitter and improves geometry for better front of screen performance.
XGA, 1024 x 768 resolution
Fo r gra phic s moni tors , the scre en re solut ion s igni fies the number of dots (pixels) on the entire screen. For example, a 1024-by-768 pixel screen is capable of displaying 1024 distinct dots on each of 768 lines, or about 786 thousand pixels. XGA provides resolutions of 640 by 480 or 1024 by 768 pixels.
