b r a c k e t that allows the speaker to be aimed toward the listening position by pivoting

The Premier Collection Subwoofer delivers the deep, floor-shaking bass that brings
added realism and unparalleled impact to movie soundtracks and music. Adding
one of these powered subwoofers is the single most impactful upgrade to any
h o m e - t h e a t e r speaker system.
This stand-alone sub was designed to complement the PC series of speakers. It cre a t e s
the added dimension and extreme sonic effects that only true deep bass can deliver.
This model features automatic-on circ u i t ry to activate the subwoofer’s amplifier when
a music source is detected and deactivates the sub when finished listening. Va r i a b l e
c rossover points and a phase switch enable this subwoofer to blend precisely and
seamlessly with all Phase Technology Premier Collection speaker systems.

Our speakers reflect over four decades of experience
in speaker design and manufacturing. Phase Te c h n o l o g y
holds several key patents in loudspeaker technology,
including the industry - s t a n d a rd soft-dome tweeter, and
we are dedicated to constantly advancing the art and
science of audio re p ro d u c t i o n .
Phase Technology is one of the few fully vert i c a l l y
integrated American speaker manufacturers. We
p roduce virtually all of our own sub-assemblies
(including constructing woofers, tweeters and cro s s o v e r s ,
and even winding voice coils) and also build all of our
wood speaker cabinets. All Phase Technology speakers

Absolute Phase™ Cro s s o v e r s
All Phase Technology Speakers are distinguished
by our company’s exclusive Absolute Phase cro s s o v e r
t e c h n o l o g y.
These crossovers ensure that the speaker drivers are
acoustically and electronically “in phase” and thus
moving in unison. This is especially apparent when a
sound effect moves from left-to-center-to-right or vice
versa. The transition is heard as a smooth flow fro m
one speaker to the next, creating a large, well-defined
soundstage with precise imaging and increased depth
of field.
This enables every listener to hear every musical n o t e
and soundtrack passage clearly re g a rdless of seating
position. It allows any Phase Technology speaker to
be positioned vertically or horizontally and all modelsc a n
be mixed for center, main and rear applications. The
result is a seamless, wide sound stage throughout your
home theater.
Ve rtical-axis dispersion is also maintained no matter
where the speakers are positioned. This is especially
n o t e w o rthy for center-channel speakers placed horiz o n t a l l y, enabling listeners to be off-axis, on either side
of center, and hear clear, intelligible dialogue.

This series incorporates the state-of-the-art
in loudspeaker development for unsurpassed
sound re p roduction. Included are advanced
technologies developed by Phase Te c h n o l o g y
like solid-flat piston drivers (patent #4566178)
which inhibit the “break up modes” that
degrade clarity and smoothness. Our Unicell™
a n t i - d i ffraction treatment, a pro p r i e t a ry unif o rm density foam, surrounds every tweeter
(and midrange on the PC9.1 and PC3.1) to
Model PC-9.1,

Model PC-9.1 expresses the highly stylized design of the entire Premier Collection
with its softly rounded edges that invite a finger’s touch. Three furn i t u re-grade re a l
wood finishes are off e red: Natural Cherry, Honey Oak, and Black Ash. New,
s t r i k i n g geometric black grilles narrow at top and bottom and flare in the middle,
and floor spikes with removable carpet pins are included.
