INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
** Installation recommendation: JBA recommends in most case that the vehicle be taken to a reputable exhaust shop for installation.

Recommended Tools:
pry bar ratchet 15mm deep socket9/16 deep socket channel lock pliers anti-seize spray lubricant or penetrating oil reciprocating saw or hack saw
Note: This exhaust system is designed to work with a GT rear valance, or a V-6 bumper trimmed to match a GT.
Start:
1. Remove and inventory the JBA Exhaust System.
2. Disconnect the negative bat­tery cable and allow the exhaust system to completely cool.
3. Loosen the clamps attaching the exhaust to the catalytic con­verter assembly. Slide the clamp back to separate the two.

7. Bolt the supplied hanger brack­ets (H) to the frame on the drivers side using the supplied self tap­ping screws (J). Bolt the brackets in place with the factory holes. Prongs on the brackets need to face away from eachother. Then slide two rubber isolators (G) onto each hanger so holes align.
8. Slide the JBA muffler/tip as­semblies (E) and (F) hangers into the rubber isolators on each side. Be sure to get the rod into both isolator’s on the new hang­ers.

12. With the axle pipes (C) and (D) in the muffler assemblies (E) and (F) adjust mufflers to be flat, and the tips an equal distance from the bumper cover, Then tighten all clamps securely.

4. Loosen the clamp connecting the exhaust pipe to the muffler. Wiggle the exhaust pipe free from the muffler. Remove the exhaust pipe from car.
5. Using pliers or a pry bar, slide the rubber hanger from the hanger rod at inside, front of muffler (a little lube helps). Slide the muf­fler assembly forward and remove from slip hangers.
6. Using a reciprocating saw cut the factory h-pipe assembly inline with the heat-shield screw sticking out of the floor on the driver side and passenger side.
9. Install the new over axle pipes (C) and (D), slip a 2-1/2” clamp (H) onto each pipe, then insert into muffler/tip assemblies (E) and (F). Slip two 2-1/4” ring clamps (L) onto the factory cat assembly and two ring clamps (I) over the end of the axle pipes.
10. Now install the new driver side and passenger side h-pipe tubes (A) and (B) onto the fac­tory cat assembly and new axle pipes. Install the supplied band clamp (K) over the balance tubes in the center of the H-pipe.
11. Adjust the h-pipe to be flat to the ground, and tight to the converter assembly. Tighten securely.
13. Using a soft cloth, wipe the new JBA tips clean.
14. Reconnect the battery and start the vehicle to check for leaks.
NOTES:
1.) All exhaust systems expand about 1” rearward whent exhaust temperature rises.
