POWER
The No. 2 Model A press is designed for heavy duty blanking work.
With its solid eccentric shaft, box type of piston and reinforced frame, the
construction is ideal for any kind of hard usage.
Perkins No. 2 Model A Presses can be furnished in a variety of
strokes, die spaces and widths. With dial feeds or roll feeds, and motor drives
of the “V” belt, flat belt or direct geared type. This press has a plain sliding
dog clutch but can also be furnished with single trip safety clutch. The
standard press has no knock out in the piston. If desired a front to back knock
out can be furnished in a higher frame press. Cap front piston can also be sup-
plied.
We are prepared to furnish whatever is required for your particular class
of work, at standard prices.

This feed roll is made in several sizes
and can also be furnished in different
widths, with or without top roll lift.
It has vertical adjustment. This roll
can be used for feeding paper, rubber,
etc. as well as brass and steel strip.
The No. 2A can be widened out to a
variety of widths for special work. This
illustration shows a wide geared press
for paper work. This also has a “V”
belt motor drive, and special bolster
plate.

The model A press can be supplied with
roll feeds as illustrated. The motor drive
is direct to the balance wheel by gear
ing. Feed rolls can be furnished in
various widths and with top roll lift.
Vertical adjustment is also a feature.
The No. 2A may be supplied with dove
tail piston and longer strokes as shown.
The piston travels up in the ways in
this case but may be furnished with
flush piston if desired. Cap front pis
tons can also be supplied.
