1 While pressing down on the battery cover thumb grip mark (see below), slide the
battery cover away from the mouse.
2 Insert two AAA alkaline batteries with the polarities as shown in the drawing below.

3 Install the battery cover.
4 Install the included USB dongle to any available USB port on your computer.

If the mouse is not working, please check for the following possible causes:
Are the batteries installed correctly using the right polarity?
Is the USB dongle connected to your computer and the drivers finished installing?
If there is difficulty opening the battery cover, press down on the thumb grip mark
before sliding the cover away from the mouse.
If the computer is in sleep mode, and the mouse does not respond, simply click any
mouse button to wake from sleep mode. Depending on the speed of your computer,
it may take a few seconds to a few minutes to go from sleep to wake mode.

Advanced Power Saving Mode – The Rock Candy Wireless mouse will progress into
different levels of power saving modes, extending the life of your batteries.
Multi-Device USB Dongle Wireless Connection – The dongle can sync with multiple
wireless Rock Candy USB devices (such as the Rock Candy Wireless Keyboard and other
Rock Candy Wireless Mouse) by simply following this simple procedure:
1. Disconnect the USB dongle from your computer.
2. After five seconds, reconnect the USB dongle to your computer.
3. Immediately press the left, right, and middle button (which is also the scroll
wheel) together simultaneously for five seconds.
4. Your Rock Candy wireless device is now paired with the USB dongle.
