Installation and Use
Note:
Be sure to fully charge battery before first use (see "Battery
Charging" section for details).
1. Attach the quick release handlebar clamp to your handlebar. Open the
Quick Release Clamp and close the clamp around your bar, with the quick release lever facing rearward. Rotate the Quick Release Lever into position on the lower part of the clamp (with the lever pointing down) and then flip the Quick Release Lever upward to lock the clamp into position (see Figure 1).
2. If the clamp diameter setting is too loose or too tight, open the quick
release lever, loosen or tighten the lever as necessary to adjust clamp tightness, and close the lever to check for a secure grip on the bar.

MAKE SURE THE CLAMP IS TIGHT ENOUGH THAT IT WILL NOT MOVE ON THE BAR FROM VIBRATION OR BUMPS.
3. Attach the Lazer light to the handlebar bracket. Align the bracket on the underside of the light housing with the handlebar bracket, and slide the light onto the bracket from back to front until the tab on the light bracket latches over the front lip of the handlebar bracket. You should hear an audible 'SNAP' indicating that the light is securely attached to the handlebar bracket.
4. To operate: Push the switch on the back of the light housing.
5. Headlamp direction can be adjusted as desired. Once the light is attached to the handlebar bracket, grasp the light housing and rotate the light left or right as desired.
6. To remove the Lazer light from the handlebar bracket, push the tab at the front of the light bracket upward, and slide the light rearward until it is free from the handlebar bracket.
7. To remove the handlebar bracket from the handlebar, open the quick release lever at the rear of the bracket, and remove from bar.
Battery Charging
Note:
When the battery charge is low, your Lazer light will dim. Turn off
the light and recharge the battery before it is fully drained.
1. To recharge your Lazer light, plug the recharger directly into the recharger port located at the back of the light housing.
2. The ViewPoint Lazer Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery must be recharged using only the 7.25V 500mA NiMH compatible charger included with your light. Do not use any other charger. Using the wrong charger may damage your NiMH battery.
3. To ensure the longest battery life, recharge the battery immediately after each use, and always store the battery fully charged.
4. A full charge of the Lazer’s 2AHr NiMh battery requires approximately 6 hours. Your ViewPoint battery charger contains a trickle charge feature which allows the battery to be left on recharge indefinitely without harm. NOTE: Once the charger switches to trickle mode, it must be unplugged from the wall outlet before a new charge cycle can begin.
Bulb Replacement – Read Carefully!
Take care when replacing the bulb to avoid damaging the bulb connection.
1. Remove the assembly screw on the underside of the housing.
2. Gently remove the battery and bulb assembly from the light housing by
pulling it out from the rear of the housing.
3. Unplug the used bulb.
4. To install the new bulb, insert the bulb lead wires into the small holes in
the socket.
5. Reinsert the battery and bulb assembly into the light housing, and rein-
stall the assembly screw on the underside of the housing.
Avoid burns. Do not touch headlamp housing during or immediately
after use. Maintain air flow over light during use.
