High Flow System Sanitizing Kit
Perform comprehensive system sanitization of prefilter housing,
header, manifold, SR-X Feeder, and surge tank.
Enables convenient, comprehensive sanitizing
of Everpure foodservice water filter systems.
This includes a prefilter housing, cartridge
header manifold, SR-X Feeder and
surge/storage tank (if present).
Kit consists of four (4) QC filter header
bypass plugs, interconnection fittings,
tubing, one (1) 8-way water test strip,
instructions/procedures, and handy
carrying case.
All needed components in one convenient kit.
No dip tube necessary.
Uses same prefilter cartridge to sanitize as is
supplied in filter change-out.
Service line to equipment does not have to be
removed to introduce sanitizer.
Surge tank sanitizing is easier, safer
and quicker.
Obtain the appropriate system replacement
cartridges.
Check for all parts in High Flow Sanitizing
Kit before sanitizing.
Obtain a clean bucket that can hold at least
one gallon of water.
Use an acceptable sanitizer product; either
5-1/4% unscented chlorine bleach or
Kay5 sanitizer.
Use eye, hand, and clothing protection.
Turn off power to equipment prior to start.
Turn off water to filter system and depressurize
system before removing bowls and cartridges.
Remove Scalestick® and do not replace until
sanitization is complete.
Use potable water only and do not cleaan the
prefilter or SR-X bowls with special cleaners,
soaps or detergents.
Flush all cartridges and check for residual
chlorine with tests strips provided
Prior to restarting system make sure:
a) Flush valve is closed, b) Inlet valve is open,
and c) Surge tank valve is open (if present)
Restore power to affected equipment.

removed or reduced by this drinking water
system are not necessarily in your water. Do
not use with water that is microbiologically
unsafe or of unknown quality without
adequate disinfection before or after the
system. Systems certified for cyst reduction
may be used with disinfected water that may
contain filterable cysts.

are covered by a limited warranty against defects in material and
workmanship for a period of five years after date of purchase.
Everpure replaceable elements (filter cartridges and water treatment
cartridges) are covered by a limited warranty against defects in
material and workmanship for a period of one year after date of
