7. Unless the unit is specifically marked as a NEMA Type 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, or 6P enclosure, it is designed for indoor use only and it must not be installed where exposed to rain and moisture.
Description
The SPM4-W pendant mount is specifically designed for the Spectra® Mini dome system. The mount
is compatible with 0.75-inch NPT pipe or 20 mm threaded conduit.
Installation
To install the SPM4-W pendant mount:
1. Attach the mount to either 0.75-inch NPT pipe or 20 mm threaded conduit.
2. Bring wiring through the pipe/conduit and mount. Refer to Figure 6, Table D, Table E, and Table F in the installation manual for the Spectra Mini dome for wiring information.
3. Install the Spectra Mini dome in the mount. Follow the instructions in the Switch Settings and
Hard Ceiling installation sections of the installation manual for the Spectra Mini dome system.
In the Hard Ceiling section, disregard step 2 about cutting holes in the ceiling.
In step 5 of the same section, attach the dome drive to the mount with the two
8-32 x 0.75-inch screws that are supplied with the mount.
