PVMs
are both an effective loss prevention and marketing tool. The
built-in memory card reader enhances marketing capabilities by
allowing preloaded presentations to play continuously. The memory
card reader supports the following formats: JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg,
progressive), MPEG-1/2, and DivX (version 4.x). The
detection feature switches the monitor into surveillance mode when
someone passes through the detection zone. The built-in light sensor
conserves energy by putting the monitor in sleep mode when the
lights go out.
The built-in WDR camera uses a pixel-based imager that adjusts for
lighting conditions by pixel. This ensures the best image under
difficult lighting conditions, allowing installation in brightly lit
entrances.
