VIDEO QUALITY CAUTION
FRAME RATE NOTICE REGARDING USER SELECTED OPTIONS
Pelco systems are capable of providing high quality video for both live viewing and playback. However, the systems can be used in lower quality
modes, which can degrade picture quality, to allow for a slower rate of data transfer and to reduce the amount of video data stored. The picture
quality can be degraded by either lowering the resolution, reducing the picture rate, or both. A picture degraded by having a reduced resolution
may result in an image that is less clear or even indiscernible. A picture degraded by reducing the picture rate has fewer frames per second,
which can result in images that appear to jump or move more quickly than normal during playback. Lower frame rates may result in a key event
not being recorded by the system.

Maintenance
Periodically, you might need to clean the monitor to maintain optimum viewing performance. Be sure to observe the following cleaning
instructions to avoid damage to the monitor:
•Gently wipe your screen with a clean camel hair brush or a soft, clean, lint-free cloth.
•Gently apply pressure to the screen surface to clean the display.
•Do not spray any liquid directly on the screen or the LCD monitor casing.
•Chemical cleaners can damage the screen and the LCD monitor casing.
The 32-inch monitor can be operated using the remote control, which requires two AAA batteries. Be sure to observe the following practices
when disposing of batteries:
•Remove dead batteries immediately to prevent battery acid from leaking into the battery compartment.
•Remove the batteries if you do not intend to use the remote control for a long period of time.
•Dispose of batteries in a designated disposal area.
•Do not throw batteries into a fire.
•Do not mix battery types.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the following instructions fail to solve your problem, contact Pelco Product Support at 1-800-289-9100 (USA and Canada) or +1-559-292-1981
(international) for assistance. Be sure to have the serial number available when calling.
Do not try to repair the unit yourself. Opening it immediately voids the warranty. Leave maintenance and repairs to qualified technical personnel
only.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not remove the cover or back of the monitor. There are no user-serviceable parts
inside.
ProblemPossible CausesSuggested Resolution
Poor picture quality.Faulty system or cable connections.Make adjustments on the front panel control.
Inspect all system connections and cables.
Intermittent loss of video in PIP and main
video.
In NTSC/PAL, when using PIP, cycling
through cameras (with one or more cameras
out of operation) causes the monitor to auto
adjust and locate the signal.
Check your input devices. If there is a
problem with a camera from another input
device, such as no power signal or bad video,
disconnect and reconnect the camera or
device.
