The IPCT01 IP camera installation tool is a portable, battery-powered
tool that provides flexibility in field installation of network video
cameras with built-in Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. It connects
directly to a camera to provide power, and display live video to adjust
camera viewing angle and focus. Power can also be delivered
through PoE bypass from an alternate power source. The tool offers
a user-friendly, 3.5-inch touch screen for zooming and programming
functions.

Pelco’s IPCT01 can also be connected to a network to search for
network video cameras. Local storage of final installation snapshots
can be taken by pressing the snapshot button and saving to an SD
card or USB device.

The IPCT01 IP camera installation tool is optimized to supply power
for cameras with PoE IEEE802.3af, Class 2 power input. Cameras
rated for IEEE802.3at, Class 3 require a higher-capacity BP-930 type
battery. Extra batteries must be purchased separately.

The IPCT01 can optionally be upgraded to connect to ONVIF Profile S
cameras through a license upgrade.
