SUSPENDED CEILING INSTALLATION

To install the IP110 with the IP110-F in a suspended ceiling:
1. Cut a 6.5-inch (16.5-centimeter) diameter hole in the ceiling tile.
2. Pull all wiring through the hole in the ceiling tile and terminate all wires.
3. Connect your wiring to the dome using one of the following options:
Plug the network cable into the RJ-45 connector on the side of the dome.
If the network has no Power over Ethernet (PoE), connect a 24 VAC Class 2 power supply to
the 24 VAC power connector.
Refer to the IP110 Series Camclosure Installation manual (C3432M) for wiring connections.
4. Attach the dome to the ceiling tile (refer to Figure 2).
a. Stabilize the spring paddles by applying pressure to the 8-32 x 0.5-inch Philips pan head screws.
b. With the screws stabilized, insert the spring paddles and dome into the hole in the ceiling tile.
NOTE: Be sure to route all wiring away from the spring paddles.
c. Once the spring paddles have cleared the hole in the ceiling tile, release the screws. You do
not need to provide additional support for the dome; the paddles will hold the dome in place.
WARNING: Do not overtighten the mounting hardware.
d. Tighten the screws completely to secure the ceiling tile between the spring paddles and the
dome.
