DESCRIPTION
Pelco’s Model EM1400 Light Duty Wall Mount has been engineered for use with EH4010/ EH4014/EH4018 enclosures and light-to medium-weight cameras. It is designed for mounting on any wall or vertical surface and is capable of supporting loads up to 20 pounds (9 kg).
NOTE:
Two hex head machine screws for mounting the enclosure/ camera are supplied. Fasteners to secure the mount to the desired mounting surface are not supplied.
CAUTION:
Make certain that the mounting surface is able to sup-
port the full load of the mount, enclosure, and camera.
The EM1400 has an adjustable head which allows mechanical positioning of the camera/ enclosure.
INSTALLATION
To install the EM1400 enclosure mount, perform the following steps.
1. Drill holes in mounting surface using the mount as a template, and attach the mount securely with fasteners of minimum 1/4-inch diameter (not supplied).
If you install the mount outdoors, rain water could leak through the holes for the mounting bolts and damage the wall.
To prevent water damage, seal the bolt holes with an appropriate sealant. Apply the sealant around the bolt holes between the mount and the mounting surface.
2. Attach the enclosure or camera securely with the two 1/4-20 hex head screws provided.
3. Loosen the hex head bolts on the swivel head and adjust for pan rotation (360°) and tilt angle (75° up or down). Tighten bolts and lock into place.
