The Elvox Model 8879 is an elegantly styled
handsets. The 8879 is equipped with a hand­set with speaker and electret microphone pro­viding crisp clear audio. Ring signal is provided
by speaker. Quick, capture terminal block
makes installation simple. The 8879 is for use
in 2Wire System.

The Residence Station shall be an 8879 Handset Station. The
Station shall provide a full duplex conversation with the Entry
Panel. Handset shall utilize an electret microphone. Signal
shall be a tone from separate speaker. A handset utilizing the
earpiece for tone will not be accepted. The Residence Station
shall have a pushbutton for remote activation of the door re­lease (concierge call) and an auxiliary pushbutton. The resi­dence station shall be wall mounted.
