15” Scorpion® Replacement Basket
The Peavey Scorpion® Plus™ 15” loudspeaker was designed to high level professional requirements, which is sound reinforcement, public address, and low frequency musical instrument applications. Impregnated with Kevlar® to maintain an extremely rigid platform that can provide enhanced linearity at high drive levels. At any drive level, Kevlar gives the added
benet of greater mechanical damping, resulting in higher delity
through lower distortion.
The Scorpion Plus unique suspension design further contributes to the high reliability in very low distortion by allowing very long excursions with associated low distortion. The large spoke die cast, aluminum frame, and
eld replaceable cone assembly
are features usually found in ultra premium transducers such as the Peavey Black Widow® Series.
The Scorpion Plus 15” Kevlar® impregnated cone loudspeaker is another example of the versatility and reliability sound in all Peavey products.
Kevlar® is a registered trademark of DuPont Company
