4.1 Key description
Key
Description
On/off switch: switch the crane scales on / off by pressing and releasing it once.
Freeze display. Pressing and releasing this key once freezes the displayed reading. A frozen display is indicated by a lock icon. To resume the measurement, press this key again.
With the tare key you can tare the displayed weight.
Note: Setting a new tare point does not increase the weighing range.
5 Set unit
To select a unit, first switch off the instrument. Switch it on again. As soon as the display shows "88888", press the HOLD key repeatedly. To select your desired unit, also press the HOLD key. You can choose KG, LB or N. Your selection is automatically accepted after approx. one second without further pressing the HOLD key.
6 Freeze measured value
To freeze the displayed reading, press the HOLD key. Press the key again to resume the measurement. When the lock icon appears on the display, the reading is frozen.
7 Display highest measured value
To display the highest reading, first switch off the device. Now press and hold the tare key and switch on the instrument. The highest measured value is now continuously displayed. To reset the reading, press and release the tare key once. Restart the scales so that the normal measurement can be resumed.
8 Tare the display
To tare the display, press the tare key. The displayed value is set to zero.
Note: Setting a new tare point does not increase the weighing range.
9 Automatic power off
The scales have an automatic power off function. To enable or disable this function, first switch on the instrument. Then press and hold the tare key. As soon as "OFF" appears on the display, the automatic power off function is deactivated. When you press and hold the tare key again, the display shows "On" and the function is activated. The scales switch off after 15 minutes when the function is activated.
10 Simple adjustment
To carry out an adjustment of the scales, let them hang freely and switch them on. Now press and hold the HOLD key until "1000" is displayed. After "CAL" is displayed, you can select which weight you want to attach for calibration. Press the tare key to select your weight. You can choose 20, 30, 50 or 100 kg. Then press the HOLD key to accept the selection. Now attach the weight to the scales.

11 Extended adjustment
For an extended adjustment, first switch off the scales. The scales must then hang freely. Now hold down the HOLD key and switch on the scales. The measured digit value is displayed. Press the HOLD key again. Now the weighing range can be set by repeatedly pressing the tare key. Accept this value by pressing the HOLD key. Then the resolution can be set by repeatedly pressing the tare key. Accept this value by pressing the HOLD key. “CAL" is then displayed. Now the actual adjustment takes place for which no key operation is necessary. “300" is now displayed. This means that a 300 kg weight must now be attached. The value is automatically accepted as soon as the weight has been attached. When "PASS" is displayed, the calibration is complete. Note: Do not change the weighing range and resolution. You can cancel the adjustment at any time during the process by switching off the scales.
12 Batteries
As soon as the batteries of the scales are discharged, this is indicated by the "LO" indicator on the display. The batteries must then be replaced. To insert the batteries, no load must be attached to the hanging scales. Now open the battery compartment on the back. Now insert 3 x 1.5 V AA batteries. Make sure that the polarity is correct. You can then close the battery compartment and use the scales.
13 Contact
If you have any questions, suggestions or technical problems, please do not hesitate to contact us. You will find the relevant contact information at the end of this user manual.
14 Disposal

In order to comply with the EU directive 2012/19/EU we take our devices back. We either re-use them or give them to a recycling company which disposes of the devices in line with law.
For countries outside the EU, batteries and devices should be disposed of in accordance with your local waste regulations.
