INTELLIGENT STYLING TIPS
1. Begin with freshly washed hair, and towel dry to remove excess
moisture
2. Apply to hair either Paul Mitchell® Fast Form® Cream Gel for a
smooth and shiny blow-out, or Thicken Up® Styling Liquid for major
body and volume
3. Section the hair into 4 equal parts using Paul Mitchell® ProClips
4. Starting at the nape of the neck, use the Paul Mitchell® Express Ion
Round® brush (any size) to wrap a section of hair
5. For added volume, begin section by pointing the nozzle upward at
the roots and blow-drying for added li
6. Pull the brush through the section as you continue to blow-dry,
pointing the nozzle downward onto hair to eliminate frizz and add
shine
7. As you pull the brush through the hair, follow it with the dryer to
evenly distribute the heat for a fast dry
8. When you reach the end of the hair, either turn the brush inward or
outward depending on the style
9. Lock in style by pressing the cool shot buon
10. Continue through all sections until hair is completely dry and styled
FOR CURLY HAIR TYPES
• Aach the silicon collapsible diffuser
• Begin by drying the hair at a low heat and speed at the roots using
circular motions, always moving in the same direction
• Finish by increasing the heat and gathering sections of hair into the
diffuser for gentle drying and styling
• For maximum volume, point the dryer at the roots
• To set the style, release a cool shot of air

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
PRESS THE POWER BUTTON to turn on the hair dryer. The temperature/
speed bar, logo, and “Clean Filter” will light up.
USE AND BUTTONS TO:

PRESS THE COOL SHOT BUTTON TO RELEASE COOL AIR. Release
the cool shot buon to return to heating.
SMARTSENSE “CLEAN FILTER” LIGHT
Aer 100 hours of use, the SmartSense “Clean Filter” light will begin to blink
to alert you to wash and clean the filter (remove and thoroughly wash filter
with warm water and air dry). Hold firm on both sides of filter rubber tabs
(back of dryer) and firmly pull. Remove the mesh filter and run under warm
water to clean; completely air dry before use. Press the reset buon for
approximately 5 seconds to reset the filter buon and reset for another 100
hours. The “Clean Filter” light will stop blinking once reset.
PRESS THE POWER BUTTON to turn off the hair dryer.
OVERHEATING
If overheating occurs, an automatic safety device will turn the dryer off. If
this occurs, unplug the cord and allow the dryer to cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
Make sure the air vents and filter are fully cleaned before starting again.
DEFECTS AND MALFUNCTION
• In case some malfunction is found, consumers can return the dryer
to the salon where it was purchased; salons/stylists can return it to
their distributor.
• Read all contents of the warranty completely and carefully before
contacting the salon or the distributor.
• John Paul Mitchell Systems® is not responsible for damage caused
by misuse or due to operator accidents, such as dropping the
appliance on the floor.

•Attachments may be hot during use. Allow them to
cool before handling.
•Do not place the dryer on any surface while it is
operating.
•While using the appliance, keep your hair away from
the air inlets.
•Do not operate with a voltage converter.

The Paul Mitchell® Pro Tools™ warranty covers the appliance against
defects in material or workmanship for the specied warranty duration
from date of purchase.
Sorry, no refunds will be given.
Please save your receipt as proof of date of purchase.
Exchange of defective appliance is at the Paul Mitchell® distributor’s
discretion.
If your Paul Mitchell® Pro Tools™ appliance fails to operate properly
within the specied warranty period, consumers can return the
appliance to the salon where it was purchased; stylists can return it to
their distributor, making sure to bring the original proof of purchase.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
•Normal wear and tear such as shorts or cuts in the power supply
cord or plug, or excessive hair inside of dryer.
•Damage due to misuse and abuse such as:
- Dropping (vibration, loose motor, rattling noise, etc.)

CONSEILS DE COIFFAGE INTELLIGENT
1. Commencez par laver et essorer les cheveux avec une serviee pour
éliminer l’eau superflue
2. Appliquez ensuite le gel-crème Paul Mitchell® Fast Form® pour un
brushing lisse et brillant, ou l’eau coiffante Thicken Up® pour un maximum
de corps et de volume
3. Divisez la chevelure en 4 parties égales à l’aide des pinces Paul Mitchell®
ProClips
4. En partant de la nuque, utilisez la brosse Paul Mitchell® Express Ion
Round® (peu importe la taille) pour enrouler une partie de cheveux
5. Pour plus de volume, commencez par diriger l’embout vers le haut au
niveau des racines et séchez en les soulevant
6. Passez la brosse le long des cheveux à mesure que vous les séchez, en

CONSEILS D’UTILISATION
APPUYER SUR LE BOUTON MARCHE/ARRÊT pour mere le sèche-
cheveux en marche. La barre de température/vitesse, le logo et l’indicateur
« Filtre propre » s’allument.

APPUYER SUR LE BOUTON DE JET D’AIR FROID POUR LIBÉRER
DE L’AIR FROID. Relâcher le bouton de jet d’air froid pour revenir à l’air
chaud.
L’INDICATEUR LUMINEUX SMARTSENSE
Après 100 heures d’utilisation, l’indicateur lumineux SmartSense « Filtre
propre » commence à clignoter, pour vous indiquer que le filtre doit être
neoyé (et retirer laver soigneusement le filtre à l’eau chaude avant de le
laisser sécher à l’air libre). Tenez fermement les languees en caoutchouc
sur les deux côtés du filtre (l’arrière du sèche-linge) et tirer fermement.
Retirer le filtre maille et faire fonctionner sous l’eau chaude pour neoyer;
complètement sécher à l’air avant de l’utiliser. Appuyez sur le bouton de
réinitialisation pendant 5 secondes environ afin de remere à zéro le
bouton du filtre et de repartir pour 100 nouvelles heures. L’indicateur
lumineux « Filtre propre » cesse de clignoter une fois réinitialisé.
APPUYER SUR LE BOUTON MARCHE/ARRÊT pour éteindre le sèchecheveux.
SURCHAUFFE
En cas de surchauffe, l’appareil s’arrêtera grâce au dispositif de sécurité
automatique. Si cela se produit, débrancher le cordon et laisser le sèchecheveux refroidir entre 10 et 15 minutes. Bien neoyer les orifices d’aération
et le filtre avant de rallumer l’appareil.
DÉFAUTS ET DÉFAILLANCE
• En cas de défaillance de l’appareil, le client peut retourner le sèchecheveux au salon où il l’a acheté ; les salons/coiffeurs peuvent le
retourner à leur distributeur.
• Veuillez lire aentivement l’intégralité des informations contenues
dans la garantie avant de contacter le salon ou le distributeur.

Laisser le cordon pendre librement au point de

les lieux où des produits aérosols (vaporisation)

•NE PAS RÉPARER, MODIFIER, OU TENTER DE
RÉPARER le sèche-cheveux, au risque de provoquer
un choc électrique, un dommage corporel, un
dommage matériel, une défaillance ou un accident.
•Si le cordon est endommagé, il doit être remplacé
uniquement par le fabriquant, son service client ou
une personne qualiée an d’éviter tout danger.
•Au moment de l’insertion ou du débranchement
de la prise, la tenir fermement pour ne pas que le
cordon se détache et éviter un accident, un mauvais
usage, des dommages corporels, matériels ou une

•Arrêter immédiatement d’utiliser l’appareil en cas
d’odeur désagréable. Le non respect de cette
