
Owner’s Manual Guide for the Combi Refrigerator
Before using the Combi Refrigerator:
Before plugging the Combi Refrigerator make sure that both the voltage and the
frequency of the current supply are convenient to the usage of the appliance (Voltage
and Frequency of the appliance are indicated on the outside packing carton and on the
name plate at the back of the appliance)
Make sure that the place where you install the Combi Refrigerator is dry, well
ventilated and not exposed to direct sunlight
Adjust the leveling of the Combi Refrigerator using the leveling screws in order for
the appliance to be slightly inclined backward
Keep a distance of minimum 15 cm between the Combi Refrigerator and the
surrounding walls or other appliances
It is important not to plug the Combi Refrigerator to electricity before 4 hours from
arrival to the house
It is recommended to wait for another 4 hours after plugging the Combi Refrigerator
before placing the food
Temperature Adjustment:
The Combi Refrigerator you own has a front panel with colored lamps for ease of use and
fast indication of the inner status
Directly after plugging the Combi Refrigerator to electricity the Green lamp will be
turned on
If the Red lamp is turned on, it means that the inside temperature still did not reach
the desired adjustment
If the Orange lamp is turned on, it means that the Super Freezing function is in
process
To control the inside temperature, adjust the Thermostat between the position MIN &
MED
If fast freezing is required, adjust the thermostat to Super (It is very important not to
leave the Combi Refrigerator on the Super position for long time)

Ice Defrosting:
The Combi Refrigerator you own is designed to automatically defrost ice that can form
at the back of the compartment. Heat generated from the compressor is used to
evaporate water caused by the defrosted ice
In some rare cases and due to high intensity of humidity in the air, thick layer of ice
can be formed at the back of the Combi Refrigerator. In this case, adjust the thermostat
to position “0” till the ice is totally defrosted
To reduce the formation of ice inside the cabinet, be sure to pack well the food and
minimize the opening of the Combi Refrigerator doors
It is mandatory to unplug the Combi Refrigerator before the ice defrosting process
Do not use an electric heater to assist defrosting
After finishing the ice defrosting process, wait for four hours after plugging the Combi
Refrigerator before loading the food
General Recommendations:
The best temperature for food storage for long periods is –18ºC
Avoid placing hot food in the Combi Refrigerator
Avoid frequent opening of the Combi Refrigerator doors
Avoid freezing glass bottles and soft drinks
If the Combi Refrigerator is not to be used for a long time, it is recommended to switch it off
and leave the doo rs open
Before cleaning, always unplug the Combi Refrigerator. Do not use caustic or abrasive
agents or soap for cleaning
The compressor and the condenser should be freed of dust once a year with a brush or
vacuum cleaner
It is recommended to wrap the food in plastic bags or aluminum foils to isolate the content
from direct contact with cold air
In case of power failure, the Combi Refrigerator you own is designed to preserve the low
temperature for the longest period of time taking into conside ration to avoid f requent opening
of the Combi Refrigerator doors
