Motion Sensor Guard
Note: The Motion Sensor Guard is designed to protect the sensor from light objects such as a foam ball, coffee filters, or a tennis ball. Heavy objects may break the guard and damage the motion sensor.
Introduction
The SE-7256 Motion Sensor Guard is designed to protect the P ASCO Motion Sensor from falling objects. When placed over the motion sensor, the wires of the guard are within the 15 cm “dead zone” of the sensor. Therefore, the wires do not interfere with data collection for position, velocity or acceleration measurements.
Setup Instructions
1 . Set the Motion Sensor on a flat surface
2. Rotate the sensor head to point upwards
3. Place the Motion Sensor Guard over the Motion Sensor as shown.
4. Be sure to position the guard so the intersections of the wires are not directly above the sensing element. This will minimize any interference by the guard.
Position the guard so that the intersections of the wires are not directly above the sensing element.
