Introduction
The PASCO PS-2100A USB Link is an interface that uses the Universal Serial Bus protocol to enable communication between PASCO sensors and a USB-compatible computer that is running PASCO’s data acquisition software*. The USB Link can be connected to and disconnected from a USB port without turning off the computer
first. If the USB Link is connected to a computer that is running the software, the light emitting diode (LED) on
the top of the USB Link lights up to indicate that the software detects the connection.
NOTE: If the computer is on, the data acquisition software is running, the USB Link is securely connected, but
the LED is not on, disconnect and then reconnect the USB Link to the USB port. (Contact Technical Support for
more information.)
*See the PASCO catalog or web site at www.pasco.com for more information.
The PS-2500 PASPORT Sensor Extension Cable is 2 meters long with an eight pin female DIN plug at one end
and a PASPORT sensor plug at the other end. Use the cable to extend the distance that your sensor can reach.
