all parts of your body. Do not raise engine
above your waist.

fler and spinning line (or other optional at­tachment). Keep engine below waist level.
A hot muffler can cause serious burns.

maintenance except carburetor adjustments.

S Look for and replace damaged or loose

parts before each use. Look for and repair

S Replace trimmer head parts that are

chipped, cracked, broken, or damaged in
any other way beforeusing the unit.

S Maintain unit according to recommended

procedures. Keep cutting line at proper
length.

S Use only 2mmdiameterPartner! brand line.

S Installrequiredshield properly beforeusing

the unit. Use only specified trimmer head;
make sure it is properly installed and se­curely fastened.

S Make sure unit is assembled correctly as

shown in this manual.

S Make carburetor adjustments with lower

FUEL SAFETY

S Mix and pour fuel outdoors.

blower, always install blower tubes.

vacuum tubes frequently, always with en­gine stoppedand spark plugdisconnected.
Keepventsand discharge tubesfreeof de­bris which can accumulate and restrict
proper air flow.
