Introduction

The Bluetooth technology enables voice and data to be sent via
a short-distance radio link. It allows several electronic devices
to communicate with each other, particularly phones
and hands-free kits. Parrot is drawing on its long years
of experience in signal processing and voice recognition
technology to offer a hands-free kit with superior audio quality
during calls : the Parrot PMK5800.

Thanks to its FM transmitter the Parrot PMK5800 offers you a
faithful reproduction of your communication or music through
the speakers of your car. This will allow you to enjoy the listening
comfort of your cars’ audio system without installing anything.

With the Parrot PMK5800, you will be able to make phone calls
from your car while keeping your hands on the wheel.
You can also use the audio streaming function on your hands­free kit to listen to the music files on your phone, PDA or audio
player over your vehicle’s speakers (if your phone, PDA or audio
player supports the audio streaming function). It will also allow
you to stream your music files from any audio player using the
USB/Jack audio cable. The Parrot PMK5800 acts as a real
extension of your mobile phone.

Using for the first time

1. Installing the Parrot PMK5800

Use the Parrot PMK5800
on your vehicle’s cigar lighter.
The rubber tip will allow you to fit
the Parrot PMK5800 to all types of
cigar lighter sockets. If this rubber tip
is necessary, screw it on the lower
part of the device.

You can position the screen
of the Parrot PMK5800 correctly
by adjusting the base
of the device or by pressing
the red button to reverse
the display orientation.

NOTE : YOU CAN USE THE PARROT PMK5800 IN ANY TYPE OF VEHICLE

Preset

EXCEPT IN HEAVY TRUCKS (24V).

In some rare occasions, depending on the depth at which
the cigar-lighter is placed, it is convenient to add an extender
(not provided), so that the driver has the Parrot PMK5800 in full
view. Make sure that the device stays stable and within reach if
you are using it while driving.

2. Syntonizing your car radio

with the Parrot PMK5800

Thanks to the FM transmitter of the Parrot PMK5800,
your communications as well as audio streaming and vocal
menus will be relayed through the vehicles speakers.
But you first have to syntonize your car radio and your cell
phone, that is to say to set your car radio and the Parrot
PMK5800 to the same frequency.

NOTE : DO NOT CHOOSE FREQUENCIES WHICH CORRESPOND
TO THE MAIN NATIONAL RADIO STATIONS.

After syntonization, set the volume of your car radio to a high
level and press the scroll wheel. The Parrot PMK5800 will send
out an audio signal that will be relayed through the speakers
of your vehicle. This will confirm the syntonization.

NOTE : IF THE PARROT PMK5800 AND YOUR CELL PHONE ARE NOT
CORRECTLY SYNTONIZED, THE SPEAKERS OF YOUR VEHICLE WON’T
RELAY ANY AUDIO SIGNALS. WE ADVISE YOU TO KEEP A FREQUENCY
ON YOUR CAR RADIO EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PARROT PMK5800. FOR
MORE INFORMATION, REFER TO YOUR CAR RADIO’S USER GUIDE.

3. Pairing your phone with the Parrot

PMK5800

Prior to use the Parrot PMK5800 with your phone for the very
first time, you must initially pair both devices.

1. Turn on your cell phone.

2. Plug the Parrot PMK5800 in the cigar lighter socket and
switch on the ignition.
> The Parrot PMK5800 says « Please Pair device ».

3. From your Bluetooth phone, search for Bluetooth peripherals
(consult your phone’s user guide or refer to the «Support»
heading on the www.parrot.com website).

4. Select «Parrot PMK5800».

5. Enter « 0000 » on your phone when prompted.
> The Parrot PMK5800 says « Pairing successfull »
when both devices are connected.
> The language is automatically selected if your cell phone
supports this feature. Otherwise, you can set the language
manually (for more information, refer to the “Selecting
the language” section).

NOTE : YOU CAN PAIR UP TO 10 PHONES WITH THE PARROT PMK5800.

4. Selecting the language

of the Parrot PMK5800

The default language of the Parrot PMK5800 is English.
Depending on your cell phone, the language can also be set
according to the information on your SIM card. If you set the
language manually, the automatic selection will be disabled until
the next memory erasing.

If you want to set the language of the Parrot PMK5800 manually:

1. On your car radio, select the same frequency you chose on
the Parrot PMK5800.

2. Quickly press the scroll wheel.
> The Parrot PMK5800 says the selected language

3. Press the scroll wheel once more to enter the «Language»
menu.

4. Use the scroll wheel to select the language.

5. Press the scroll wheel or the green button to confirm the
language you selected.

5. Setting the frequency

Preset

To get your communications as well as audio streaming relayed
through the vehicles speakers, you first have to set your car
radio and the Parrot PMK5800 to the same frequency.
To do so, the Parrot PMK5800 allows you to memorize
frequencies with the Preset button.

1. On your car radio, select the frequency you will attribute
to the Parrot PMK5800 and assign this frequency to a preset
button. For more information, refer to your car radio’s user
guide.

2. Press the Preset button for 2 seconds to switch to the
memorizing mode.
> The Preset area blinks.

3. Select the same frequency you chose on your car radio with
the scroll wheel.

4. Select the preset number you want to assign to this frequency
by quickly pressing the Preset button.

5. Press the Preset button for 2 seconds to assign the frequency
to the preset number you previously selected.
> The blinking in the preset area stops : the frequency has
been correctly assigned.

WARNING : FOR OBVIOUS REASONS OF SECURITY, DO NOT CHANGE
THIS FREQUENCY WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING.

NOTE :

- YOU CAN MEMORIZE UP TO 9 FREQUENCIES.

- IF YOU RECORD SEVERAL FREQUENCIES ON THE PARROT PMK5800,
A SHORT PRESS ON THE PRESET BUTTON WILL ALLOW YOU
TO CHANGE TO THE NEXT PRESET.

1. Scrolling through the menus

• On your car radio, select the same frequency you chose
on the Parrot PMK5800. For more information, refer to the
« Setting the frequency».

• Press the central scroll wheel to access the menus.
The kit says the name of the current menu.

• Browse through the menus by turning the wheel and confirm
with the green button or by pressing the scroll wheel.

• To exit the menu, press the red button or wait a few seconds.

2. Menu structure

• Language : This menu allows you to select the language of
the Parrot PMK5800. Refer to the « Selecting the language»
section.

• Add voice tags : This menu allows you to transfer a contact
via Bluetooth and add a voiceprint to this contact.

• Record magic words : This menu allows you to record
the « phone » magic word (to accept an incoming call or start
the voice recognition feature) and the « Hang up » magic word
(to terminate a call). It also allows you to activate/deactivate
these words if you already recorded them.
For more information, refer to the Voice recognition section.

• Record Keywords : This menu allows you to record
keywords (which are useful in the event of a contact
with several phone numbers). For more information,
refer to the Voice recognition” section.

• Software update: Enable this option before updating via
Bluetooth (www.parrot.com, Download section). Doing so will
increase the number of devices compatible with your
Parrot PMK5800.

Features

1. Voice recognition

The Parrot PMK5800 will allow you to enjoy the voice recognition
feature even if your phone does not support it.
Using the voice recognition feature is particularly appropriate
while you are driving.

1.1. Recording keywords and magic words

To offer you as many features as possible, the Parrot PMK5800
lets you record keywords: «general», «mobile», «work», «home»,
«other», as well as magic words: «phone» and «hang up».

• The magic word «phone» lets you accept an incoming call,
as well as start the voice recognition feature.

• The magic word «hang up» lets you terminate a call.

• In the event of a contact with several phone numbers,
the keywords allow you to choose the number to call.

To record keywords and magic words:

1. On your car radio, select the same frequency you chose
on the Parrot PMK5800. For more information, refer to the «
Setting the frequency».

2. Press the scroll wheel to enter the menu and select «Record
keywords».

3. Follow the prompts given by the kit. You will need to record
each keyword twice for better recognition.
> When a keyword is correctly recorded, you can choose
another keyword. Otherwise, it prompts you to record it again.
> You can exit the menu at any time by pressing the red
button and then go back to record or modify the keywords
whenever required.

1.2. Saving contacts in the Parrot PMK5800

To use the voice recognition feature, your contacts must first be
saved in the hands-free kit’s memory. Consequently you have
to send your contacts to the Parrot PMK5800 via Bluetooth. To
do so:

1. On your car radio, select the same frequency you chose

on the Parrot PMK5800. For more information, refer to the
«Setting the frequency» section.

2. Press the scroll wheel to enter the menu and select «Add
voice tags».
> The kit says “Awaiting a contact”

3. On your cell phone, select the contact and send it via
Bluetooth. For more information, refer to your phone’s
user guide.

4. Once received, add a voiceprint by following the prompts

2. Telephony

2.1 Making a call manually from the phone

• Dial the number using the phone’s keypad and start the call.

• The call automatically changes to hands-free mode. Otherwise,
press the green button on the Parrot PMK5800.

2.2 Making a call via
the voice recognition feature

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST HAVE FIRST RECORDED THE VOICE PRINTS
ON YOUR PHONE OR THE KIT (REFER TO THE CHAPTER ENTITLED
«VOICE RECOGNITION»).

1. On your car radio, select the same frequency you chose
on the Parrot PMK5800. For more information, refer to the «
Setting the frequency» section.

2. Quickly press the green button or say the “phone” magic word
(only if you already recorded this magic word –
refer to the Voice recognition section for more information).

3. Say the name of the person that you wish to call after the
«beep».

4. If your contact has several phone numbers and if you are
using the kit’s voice recognition feature, say «home», «work»,
«mobile», «general» or «other» after the second beep. If you do
not do so, the default number of this contact will be dialled.

NOTE: PRESS THE RED BUTTON TO EXIT THE VOICE RECOGNITION
MODE OR WAIT FOR 5 SECONDS.

2.3 Receiving a call

An incoming call is indicated by a ringtone and a blinking
of the red and green LEDs.

• If your car radio is already set on the frequency of the
Parrot PMK5800, then press the green button to answer the
call or the red button to reject it.

• If your car radio is not set to the frequency of the Parrot
PMK5800, switch to this frequency. By doing so, you
automatically answer the call.

• You can also answer this call with your phone (private
conversation).

2.4 Ending a call

To end a call, press the red
button on the Parrot PMK5800
or say “hang up” (only
if you already recorded
this magic word – refer
to the Voice recognition
section for more information).

2.5 Redial function

Hold down the green key on the kit for two seconds
to redial the last number dialled.

2.6 Adjusting the volume

During the call, turn the volume control command
of your car radio or set it with your phone.

NOTE: THE USE OF CERTAIN FEATURES (VOLUME ADJUSTEMENT,
SEND CONTACTS BY BLUETOOTH) DEPENDS EXCLUSIVELY
ON YOUR PHONE. REFER TO THE SUPPORT HEADING ON OUR WEBSITE
AT WWW.PARROT.COM FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.

2.7 Changing to discreet mode

• During a call, if you want to continue the conversation
on your phone (private conversation), press the green button
on the Parrot PMK5800. The call is transferred to the phone.

• If you want to switch back to the kit,
press the green button again.

2.8 Sending DTMFs

During a call, you can send DTMFs (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency)
for touch-tone dialling. This feature can be used for managing
your voicemail, for example.

1. Press the scroll wheel - the kit says «0».

2. Turn the wheel to scroll through the numbers.

3. Press the scroll wheel to send the selected number
to the phone.

4. Repeat this sequence to send other DTMFs.

2.9 Clearing the memory

You can pair up to 10 devices.

• If you attempt to pair a 11th device, the kit displays «memory
full».

• To pair a new phone, you must clear the memory by pressing
simultaneously the red and green buttons.

CAUTION: THIS WILL CLEAR ALL THE CONTACTS AND VOICEPRINTS
ASSOCIATED WITH THE PHONE AT THE SAME TIME.

2.10 Microphone mute

During a call, if you do not want the person on the other
end of the line to hear you, quickly press the «Play» button
on the remote controls of the Parrot PMK5800.
Press the button again to cancel the mute.

3. Audio Streaming

The streaming audio feature lets you play the music tracks
recorded on your Bluetooth audio player over the vehicle’s
speakers. This feature depends on your audio player.
Some phones also incorporate this feature.
For further information, refer to our website: www.parrot.com.
Prior to use the Parrot PMK5800 with your audio player,
you will need to pair both devices.

3.1. Pairing your audio player
with the Parrot PMK5800

NOTE: IF YOU ARE USING YOUR PHONE FOR THE HANDS-FREE
AND STREAMING AUDIO FUNCTIONS AT THE SAME TIME, THE

FOLLOWING PHASE IS NOT REQUIRED.
YOUR PHONE IS ALREADY RECOGNISED BY THE KIT.

1. On your car radio, select the same frequency you chose
on the Parrot PMK5800. For more information, refer to the «
Setting the frequency».

2. From your Bluetooth audio player, search for Bluetooth
peripherals (consult your audio player’s user guide or refer to
the «Support» heading on the www.parrot.com website).

3. Select «Parrot PMK5800».

4. Enter «0000» on your audio player when prompted.
> The Parrot PMK5800 says «pairing successful»
when both devices are paired. The device sounds a beep
when connected.

3.2. Playing music files

1. On your car radio, select the same frequency you chose
on the Parrot PMK5800. For more information, refer to the
«Setting the frequency».

2. If a connection for Audio Streaming is active,
press the «Play / Pause» button to start
playing the music files stored
in your phone’s / player’s memory.

3.3. Pausing during playback

Preset

• When playing music files, quickly press the «Play / Pause»
button to momentarily stop playback.

• Quickly pressing the «Play / Pause» button resumes playback
of the music track.

3.4. Stopping playback

Hold down the «Play / Pause» button to stop playback.
The car stereo is once again played through the vehicle’s
speakers.

3.5. Adjusting the volume

Use the volume control command of your car radio
to adjust the volume for the audio streaming.

3.6. Selecting music files

When playing a music file, you can change to the next
or previous track by pressing the «Next» and «Previous»
buttons respectively.

NOTE : IF YOUR AUDIO PLAYER SUPPORTS THIS FEATURE, THE NEXT/
PREVIOUS ICONS ARE LIGHTENED.

3.7. Fast forwarding / fast rewinding

the current track

During playback, you can fast forward or rewind by holding
down the «Next» and «Previous» buttons respectively.

NOTE : IF YOUR AUDIO PLAYER SUPPORTS THIS FEATURE,
THE NEXT/PREVIOUS ICONS ARE LIGHTENED.

4. Audio Streaming via audio cable

The streaming audio feature lets you play the music tracks
recorded on your audio player over the vehicle’s speakers
even if it does not support Bluetooth technology.
To do so, simply connect your audio player to the Parrot
PMK5800 with the USB/Jack audio cable.

You will then have to use your audio player to control the music
playing (selection of music files, Fast forwarding/rewinding…).
Press the Play button of the Parrot PMK5800 to momentarily
stop playback (only if your car radio and your phone are correctly
syntonised).

Updating the software

You can update the software of your Parrot PMK5800 by
Bluetooth. Simply enable this mode before updating.
The update is performed by Bluetooth from a computer
equipped with Bluetooth.
Updating provides access to new features and improves
compatibility with an even wider range of phones.

Introduction

La technologie Bluetooth permet d’établir des communications
voix et données via une liaison radio courte distance. Elle permet
à de nombreux équipements électroniques de communiquer
entre eux, notamment les téléphones et les kits mains-libres.

Parrot tire bénéfice de ses longues années d’expérience
en traitement du signal et reconnaissance vocale pour vous
proposer un kit mains-libres d’une qualité audio supérieure
lors des communications : le Parrot PMK5800.

Le Parrot PMK5800 est un kit mains-libres Bluetooth permettant,
par l’intermédiaire d’un émetteur FM, de restituer
votre communication ou votre musique sur les haut-parleurs
de votre véhicule. Vous pourrez ainsi bénéficier du confort
d’écoute du système audio de votre véhicule et ceci grâce
à un système qui ne nécessite aucune installation.

Avec le Parrot PMK5800, vous allez pouvoir passer des appels
téléphoniques depuis votre voiture tout en gardant les mains
sur le volant. Vous pouvez également utiliser la fonction
Streaming Audio de votre kit mains-libres pour écouter les
fichiers musicaux de votre téléphone / PDA ou de votre lecteur
audio sur les hauts-parleurs de votre véhicule (si votre téléphone/
PDA ou lecteur audio est compatible Bluetooth Stereo A2DP).

Le Parrot PMK5800 vous permettra de diffuser vos fichiers
musicaux à partir de n’importe quel lecteur audio grâce à un
câble audio USB/ Jack fourni. Le Parrot PMK5800 fonctionne
comme une véritable extension de votre téléphone portable.

Première utilisation

1. Installation

Le Parrot PMK5800 est un kit
mains libres fonctionnant sur
prise allume cigare. Le Parrot
PMK5800 permet de s’adapter à
tous types d’allume cigare grâce à
la colerette en caoutchouc fourni.
Selon la largeur de votre allume
cigare cette colerette peut être
nécessaire : vous pouvez la visser
au niveau de la partie inférieure
de l’appareil.

Orientez correctement l’écran du Parrot PMK5800 en tournant
la base de votre kit mains-libres ou en appuyant sur la touche
rouge pour inverser l’orientation de l’affichage.

NOTE : LE PARROT PMK5800 FONCTIONNE DANS TOUS LES VÉHICULES

Preset

ÉQUIPÉS D’UNE BATTERIE 12V ET D’UNE PRISE ALLUME-CIGARE.

Dans de très rares cas, à cause de la profondeur à laquelle
est placée la prise allume-cigare, il est préférable d’ajouter
un prolongateur de prise allume-cigare (non fourni).
Veuillez cependant vous assurez qu’il reste facilement
à votre portée et qu’il demeure dans une position stable
durant la conduite et durant sa manipulation.

2. Syntonisation de votre autoradio

avec le Parrot PMK5800

Le Parrot PMK5800 diffuse les menus vocaux, communications,
et streaming audio à travers l’installation audio de votre véhicule.
Le Parrot PMK5800 transmet ces données audio grâce
à un émetteur FM.
Pour cela vous devrez au préalable régler votre autoradio
et votre Parrot PMK5800 sur une fréquence commune :
cela correspond à la syntonisation de votre Parrot PMK5800
avec votre autoradio. Vous pouvez régler la fréquence
du Parrot PMK5800 à travers la molette du kit mains-libres.
Nous vous conseillons de sélectionner des fréquences
non utilisées par des stations de radios à forte écoute.

Après la syntonisation de votre Parrot PMK5800 avec votre
autoradio, il vous est conseillé de régler le volume de votre
autoradio à un niveau assez élevé
puis d’appuyer sur la molette
du Parrot PMK5800. Le kit mains
libres jouera alors un signal sonore
à travers les hauts parleurs de votre
véhicule. Ce signal permettra
au Parrot PMK5800 de s’assurer
de la syntonisation effective
avec votre autoradio.

3. Jumeler votre téléphone au Parrot

PMK5800

Lors de l’usage d’un appareil Bluetooth avec le Parrot
PMK5800, il est nécessaire dans un premier temps que les deux
appareils soient jumelés.

1. Allumez votre téléphone.

2. Branchez le Parrot PMK5800 sur l’allume cigare et mettez le
contact.
> Le Parrot PMK5800 annonce « Appairez le système s’il vous
plait ».

3. Depuis votre téléphone Bluetooth, lancez une recherche
de périphériques Bluetooth (consultez la notice de votre
téléphone ou connectez-vous sur www.parrot.com,
rubrique Support).

4. Sélectionnez «Parrot PMK5800».

5. Entrez le code « 0000 » sur votre téléphone
lorsque celui-ci vous y invite.
> Le Parrot PMK5800 annonce « Appairage réussi » lorsque
les deux appareils sont jumelés.
> La langue est sélectionnée automatiquement si votre
téléphone supporte cette fonctionnalité. Sinon, vous
pouvez régler la langue vous-même (pour plus
d’informations, consultez la section «Sélectionner la langue»).

4. Sélectionner la langue du

Parrot PMK5800

La langue du Parrot PMK5800 par défaut est l’anglais.
Selon votre téléphone, elle peut également se régler en fonction
des informations contenues sur la carte SIM. Si vous réglez
la langue manuellement, la sélection automatique sera
désactivée jusqu’au prochain effacement de la mémoire.
Si vous souhaitez sélectionner la langue du Parrot PMK5800
manuellement :

1. Sélectionnez sur l’autoradio la fréquence d’émission du Parrot
PMK5800.

2. Appuyez brièvement sur la molette.
> Le Parrot PMK5800 annonce la langue actuellement
sélectionnée.

3. Appuyez à nouveau sur la molette pour entrer dans le menu
«Choix de la langue ».

4. Utilisez la molette pour sélectionner la langue.

5. Appuyez sur la molette ou sur le bouton vert pour valider la
langue sélectionnée.

5. Régler la fréquence d’émission

Preset

La restitution de la communication et du streaming audio
vers les hauts parleurs de votre véhicule implique
que le Parrot PMK5800 et votre auto radio soient réglés
sur la même fréquence. Pour un meilleur confort d’utilisation,
le Parrot PMK5800 vous permet d’enregistrer des fréquences
d’utilisation à travers la fonction « Présélection ».

1. Sur votre autoradio, choisissez une fréquence
que vous attribuerez au Parrot PMK5800 et associez celle-ci
à une touche de présélection. Consultez la notice de votre
autoradio pour plus d’informations.

2. Appuyez 2 secondes sur le bouton Preset du Parrot PMK5800
pour passer en mode de mémorisation de fréquence.
> La zone de Preset clignote.

3. En utilisant la molette, sélectionnez la fréquence
que vous avez choisie sur votre autoradio.

4. Sélectionnez la plage de mémorisation (numéro de Preset
associé à la fréquence) en appuyant brièvement
sur le bouton Preset.

5. Appuyez 2 secondes sur le bouton Preset pour associer
la fréquence à la plage sélectionnée.
> Le clignotement de la zone de Preset s’arrête : la fréquence
sélectionnée est bien associée à la plage mémoire.

ATTENTION : POUR DES RAISONS ÉVIDENTES DE SÉCURITÉ,
NE MODIFIEZ PAS CETTE FRÉQUENCE PENDANT LA CONDUITE.

NOTE :

- VOUS POUVEZ MÉMORISER JUSQU’À 9 FRÉQUENCES D’ÉMISSION.

- SI VOUS ENREGISTREZ PLUSIEURS FRÉQUENCES SUR LE PARROT
PMK5800, UN APPUI COURT SUR LE BOUTON PRESET PERMET
D’ACCÉDER À LA PLAGE ENREGISTRÉE SUIVANTE.

6. Inverser l’orientation de l’affichage

Un appui long sur la touche rouge du Parrot PMK5800
permet d’inverser l’orientation de l’affichage.

1. Navigation dans les menus

• Sélectionnez sur l’autoradio la fréquence d’émission
du Parrot PMK5800. Consultez la section « Régler la fréquence
d’émission » pour plus d’informations.

• Appuyez sur la molette centrale pour accéder aux menus.
Le kit annonce le nom du menu atteint.

• Naviguez dans les menus en tournant la molette,
et validez avec le bouton vert ou en appuyant sur la molette.

• Pour sortir du menu, appuyez sur le bouton rouge
ou attendez quelques secondes.

2. Arborescence des menus

• Choix de la Langue : Ce menu permet de sélectionner
la langue du Parrot PMK5800. Consultez la section
« Sélectionner la langue du Parrot PMK5800».

• Ajouter des empreintes vocales : Ce menu permet de
transférer un contact par Bluetooth depuis votre téléphone et
de lui attribuer une empreinte vocale.

• Enregistrer Mots magiques : Ce menu permet d’enregistrer
les mots magiques « téléphone» (pour accepter un appel
entrant et déclencher la reconnaissance vocale) et
« raccrocher ». Il permet également de les activer/désactiver si
ceux-ci ont été enregistrés au préalable, afin de bénéficier des
fonctions avancées de la fonction reconnaissance vocale

du Parrot PMK5800. Pour plus d’informations, consultez la
section « Reconnaissance vocale ».

• Enregistrer Mots clés : Ce menu permet d’enregistrer
les mots clés (utiles dans le cas où certains contacts
disposent de plusieurs numéros de téléphone), afin de
bénéficier des fonctions avancées de la fonction
reconnaissance vocale du Parrot PMK5800. Pour plus
d’informations, consultez la section « Reconnaissance
vocale ».

• Mise à jour du logiciel par Bluetooth : Activez cette option
avant de faire la mise à jour par Bluetooth (www.parrot.com,
rubrique Téléchargement). Ceci permet d’augmenter le nombre
d’appareils compatibles avec votre Parrot PMK5800.

1. Reconnaissance vocale

1.1. Enregistrer les mots clés
et les mots magiques

Afin de vous offrir un maximum de fonctionnalité, le Parrot
PMK5800 vous permet d’enregistrer les mots clés « général »,
« mobile », « travail », « maison», « autre » ainsi que les mots

magiques « téléphone » et « raccrocher ».

• Les mots clés permettent de choisir le numéro de téléphones
à appeler dans le cas de contact ayant plusieurs numéros
de téléphone.

• Le mot magique « Téléphone » vous permet d’accepter
un appel entrant ainsi que de déclencher la fonction
reconnaissance vocale.

• Le mot magique « raccrocher » vous permet de raccrocher un
appel.

Pour enregistrer les mots clés et mots magiques :

1. Sélectionnez sur l’autoradio la fréquence d’émission
du Parrot PMK5800. Consultez la section « Régler la
fréquence d’émission » pour plus d’informations.

2. Appuyez sur la molette pour entrer dans le menu et
sélectionnez « Enregistrer mots clés ».

3. Suivez les indications données par le kit. Vous aurez besoin
d’enregistrer deux fois chaque mot clé pour une meilleure
reconnaissance.
> Quand un mot clé est bien enregistré, vous pouvez
sélectionner un autre mot clé. Sinon, le Parrot PMK5800 vous
demande de le réenregistrer.

4. Quittez le menu à tout moment en appuyant sur le bouton
rouge. Vous pourrez revenir enregistrer ou modifier les mots
clés quand vous le souhaiterez.

1.2. Enregistrer des contacts
dans le Parrot PMK5800

L’usage de la fonction reconnaissance vocale du Parrot
PMK5800 nécessite au préalable que vos contacts soient
enregistrés dans la mémoire du kit mains libres. Vous devez
donc envoyer les contacts par Bluetooth depuis votre mobile
vers le kit.

Pour cela :

1. Sélectionnez sur l’autoradio la fréquence d’émission
du Parrot PMK5800. Consultez la section « Régler la
fréquence d’émission » pour plus d’informations.

2. Appuyez sur la molette pour entrer dans le menu et
sélectionnez « Ajouter des empreintes vocales ».

3. Une fois entré dans ce menu, l’indication sonore
« Attente d’un contact » est restituée vous invitant
à sélectionner le contact à envoyer.

4. Depuis votre téléphone, sélectionnez le contact et envoyez-le
par Bluetooth. Pour plus d’informations, consultez la notice
de votre téléphone.

5. Une fois le contact reçu, ajoutez une empreinte vocale
en suivant les instructions.

2.1 Passer un appel manuellement

• Composez le numéro en utilisant le clavier du téléphone
et lancez l’appel.

• La communication passe automatiquement en mode mains
libres. Si ce n’est pas le cas, appuyez sur le bouton vert
du Parrot PMK5800.

2.2 Passer un appel en reconnaissance vocale

IMPORTANT: VOUS DEVEZ AVOIR AU PRÉALABLE ENREGISTRÉ DES
EMPREINTES VOCALES SUR VOTRE TÉLÉPHONE OU SUR LE KIT
(VOIR CHAPITRE «RECONNAISSANCE VOCALE»).

1. Sélectionnez sur l’autoradio la fréquence d’émission
du Parrot PMK5800. Consultez la section « Régler la
fréquence d’émission » pour plus d’informations.

2. Appuyez brièvement sur le bouton vert ou prononcez
le mot magique « téléphone ». Dans ce second cas les mots
magiques doivent avoir été enregistrés au préalable
(voir chapitre «Reconnaissance vocale»).
> Un « Bip » vous informe du passage en reconnaissance
vocale.

3. Prononcez le nom de votre correspondant après le « bip ».

4. Dans le cas de l’utilisation de la reconnaissance vocale
du kit et si les mots magiques ont été enregistrés
au préalables (voir chapitre «Reconnaissance vocale»)

prononcez «Domicile», «Travail», «Mobile», «Général»
ou «Autre» après le deuxième bip, sinon le numéro « préféré »
(par défaut) du contact sera composé.

NOTE : APPUYEZ SUR LE BOUTON ROUGE POUR SORTIR DU MODE
DE RECONNAISSANCE VOCALE OU PATIENTEZ 5 SECONDES.

2.3 Recevoir un appel

Un appel entrant est indiqué par une sonnerie sur le Parrot
PMK5800 et les LEDs verte et rouge clignotent.

• Si votre autoradio est déjà réglé sur la fréquence d’émission
du Parrot PMK5800, appuyez sur le bouton vert pour
décrocher ou sur le bouton rouge si vous souhaitez refuser cet
appel.

2.4 Raccrocher un appel

Preset

Pour terminer une communication, appuyez sur le bouton rouge
du Parrot PMK5800 ou prononcez le mot magique raccrocher.
Dans ce second cas les
mots magiques doivent
avoir été enregistrés au
préalable (voir chapitre
«Reconnaissance vocale»).

2.5 Fonction Bis

Appuyez deux secondes sur le bouton vert pour rappeler
le dernier appelant.

2.6 Réglage du volume

En cours de communication, utilisez la commande de réglage
de volume de la radio, ou réglez le volume directement depuis
votre téléphone.

2.7 Mode discret

• En cours de communication, si vous voulez reprendre
la communication sur votre téléphone (communication privée),
appuyez sur le bouton vert du Parrot PMK5800. La
communication bascule sur le téléphone.

• Si vous voulez repasser sur le Parrot PMK5800,
appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton vert.

2.8 Envoi de DTMF

Pendant une communication, vous pouvez envoyer des DTMF
(Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency). Cela permet de gérer votre
messagerie vocale par exemple.

1. Appuyez sur la molette, le kit énonce « 0 ».

2. Tournez la molette pour faire défiler les chiffres.

3. Appuyez à nouveau sur la molette pour envoyer
ce numéro au téléphone.

4. Répétez cette séquence pour envoyer d’autres DTMF.

2.9 Effacer la mémoire

Vous pouvez jumeler jusqu’à 10 appareils.

• Si vous jumelez un onzième téléphone, le kit annonce
« mémoire pleine ».

• Vous devez effacer la mémoire en appuyant sur vert et rouge
simultanément pendant 3 secondes. Ceci efface aussi tous
les contacts et empreintes vocales associées.

2.10 Coupure microphone

• En cours de communication, si vous ne voulez pas que votre
interlocuteur vous entende, appuyez brièvement sur le bouton
«Lecture» du Parrot PMK5800.

• Faites la même action pour reprendre la communication.

3. Streaming audio par Bluetooth
Stereo A2DP

La fonction Streaming Audio vous permet de lire sur les hauts
parleurs de votre véhicule les morceaux de musique enregistrés
sur votre lecteur audio Bluetooth.
Cette fonction est dépendante de votre lecteur audio (profil
Bluetooth A2DP). Certains téléphones intègrent également
cette fonctionnalité. Pour plus d’information consultez notre site

3.1. Jumelage de votre lecteur audio
avec le Parrot PMK5800

1. Sélectionnez sur l’autoradio la fréquence d’émission du
Parrot PMK5800. Consultez la section « Régler la fréquence

2. Depuis votre lecteur audio Bluetooth, lancez une recherche
de périphériques Bluetooth (référez-vous à la notice de votre
lecteur audio ou connectez vous sur www.parrot.com,
rubrique Support).

3. Sélectionnez «Parrot PMK5800».

4. Entrez « 0000 » sur votre lecteur audio lorsque celui-ci
vous y invite.
> Le Parrot PMK5800 annonce «jumelage réussi » lorsque
les deux appareils sont appairés.
> L’appareil émet un bip une fois connecté.

3.2. Lecture de fichiers musicaux

Si une connexion pour le Streaming Audio
est active, appuyez sur le bouton “Lecture/
Pause” pour activer la lecture de fichiers
musicaux stockés sur la mémoire de votre
téléphone / lecteur. La fréquence d’émission
du Parrot PMK5800 doit avoir été préalablement
sélectionnée sur votre autoradio.

3.3. Pause pendant la lecture

de fichiers musicaux

• Pendant la lecture de fichiers musicaux, faites un appui bref
sur le bouton « Lecture / Pause » pour stopper
momentanément la lecture de fichiers musicaux.

• Un bref appui sur le bouton « Lecture / Pause » redémarre la
lecture du fichier musical.

3.4. Arrêt de la lecture de fichiers
musicaux

Appuyez longuement sur le bouton « Lecture /
Pause » pour arrêter la lecture de fichiers musicaux.

3.5. Réglage du volume

Le réglage du volume se fait exclusivement à travers votre
autoradio.

3.6. Sélection de fichiers musicaux

Pendant la lecture d’un fichier musical, vous pouvez passer
au morceau suivant ou précédent en appuyant respectivement

4. Lecture par câble audio

Le Parrot PMK5800 vous permet de diffuser vos fichiers
musicaux à travers les enceintes de votre véhicule, ceci même si
votre lecteur audio n’est pas munis de la fonctionnalité Bluetooth
ou du profil Bluetooth AD2P.
Il vous suffit de relier votre lecteur audio au Parrot PMK5800 par
le câble audio mini-USB / JACK fourni.

La gestion de la musique diffusée (sélection des fichiers
musicaux, lecture, arrêt et avance / retour rapide)
se fait exclusivement à travers votre lecteur audio.
Vous pouvez suspendre / reprendre la diffusion d’une source
audio externe en appuyant sur la touche « Lecture »
du Parrot PMK5800. Pour cela vous devez au préalable
sélectionner sur l’autoradio la fréquence d’émission du Parrot
PMK5800.

Mise à jour

Vous pouvez mettre à jour le logiciel de votre Parrot
PMK5800 par Bluetooth. La mise à jour permet de nouvelles
fonctionnalités, et d’améliorer la compatibilité avec un plus grand
nombre de téléphones. Celle-ci s’effectue par Bluetooth depuis
un ordinateur équipé de la technologie Bluetooth.
La mise à jour s’effectue depuis une interface : le logiciel Parrot
Flash Update Wizard. Vous trouverez ce logiciel ainsi qu’une

Introducción

La tecnología Bluetooth permite establecer comunicaciones
de voz y de datos a través de una conexión de radio de
corta distancia. Permite a numerosos equipos electrónicos
comunicarse entre sí, en particular a los teléfonos y kits manos
libres.

Parrot saca partido de sus muchos años de experiencia
en el tratamiento de la señal y reconocimiento de voz
para presentarle un kit manos libres de una calidad de audio
superior para la comunicación: el Parrot PMK5800.

El Parrot PMK5800 es un kit manos libres Bluetooth que le
permite, a través de un emisor FM, transmitir su comunicación
o su música a los altavoces de su coche. Así podrá disfrutar
de la comodidad del sistema de audio de su coche gracias
a un sistema que no requiere ninguna instalación.

Con el Parrot PMK5800 podrá realizar sus llamadas telefónicas
desde el coche sin quitar las manos del volante. También puede
utilizar la función de Streaming Audio Bluetooth de su kit manos
libres para escuchar los archivos musicales de su teléfono/PDA
o de su reproductor de audio en los altavoces de su vehículo (si
su teléfono/PDA o reproductor de audio soporta la función de
Streaming Audio). Con el Parrot PMK5800 podrá reproducir

sus archivos de música a partir de cualquier reproductor
de audio gracias a un cable audio USB / Jack. El Parrot
PMK5800 funciona como una verdadera prolongación de su
teléfono móvil.

Primer uso

1. Instalación

El Parrot PMK5800 es un kit
manos libres que funciona
conectado a la toma del
encendedor. El Parrot PMK5800
se adapta a todos los tipos de
encendedores gracias al embudo
de caucho que se suministra.
Este embudo es necesario según
lo largo que sea el encendedor:
lo puede enroscar al nivel de la
parte inferior del aparato.

Oriente correctamente la pantalla del Parrot PMK5800 girando la
base de su kit manos libres o pulsando la tecla roja para invertir
la orientación de la pantalla.

NOTA: EL PARROT PMK5800 FUNCIONA EN TODOS LOS VEHÍCULOS

Preset

(SALVO LOS PESADOS 24V).

En casos muy raros, a causa de la profundidad en la que
está situada la toma del encendedor, es preferible añadir una
prolongación (no se suministra).
Por tanto, es mejor que compruebe que le queda a mano
y que estará en una posición estable durante la conducción
y su manipulación.

2. Sintonización de su autorradio

y de su Parrot PMK5800

El Parrot PMK5800 difunde los menús vocales, las
comunicaciones y el streaming audio a través de la instalación
de audio de su vehículo. El Parrot PMK5800 transmite estos
datos de audio gracias a un emisor FM.
Para ello deberá ajustar antes su autorradio y su Parrot
PMK5800 a una frecuencia común: la que corresponde a la
sintonización de su Parrot PMK5800 con su autorradio. Podrá
regular la frecuencia del Parrot PMK5800 con la rueda del kit
manos libres. Le aconsejamos que seleccione frecuencias que
no estén ocupadas por emisoras de radio de mucha audiencia.

NOTA: LA BANDA DE FRECUENCIA AUTORIZADA DEPENDE
DE SU ZONA GEOGRÁFICA.

Cuando haya sintonizado su Parrot PMK5800 con su autorradio,
le aconsejamos que ajuste el volumen de su autorradio a un nivel

PMK5800. El kit manos libres
emitirá entonces una señal sonora
a través de los altavoces de su
coche. Esta señal es la que permite
que el Parrot PMK5800 compruebe
que se ha sintonizado de forma
efectiva con su autorradio.

¡ATENCIÓN! SI EL PARROT PMK5800 NO ESTÁ CORRECTAMENTE
SINTONIZADO CON SU AUTORRADIO,
LA DIFUSIÓN DE INFORMACIÓN EN AUDIO A TRAVÉS DE SU AUTORRADIO

3. Enlazamiento de su teléfono

al Parrot PMK5800

Para poder utilizar un aparato Bluetooth con el Parrot PMK5800,
primero es necesario haber enlazado antes ambos aparatos.

1. Encienda su teléfono.

2. Conecte el Parrot PMK5800 al encendedor y ponga en
marcha su vehículo.
> El Parrot PMK5800 anuncia «Empareje el sistema, por favor»
(Empareje el sistema, por favor).

3. Busque los periféricos Bluetooth disponibles desde
su teléfono (consulte el manual de instrucciones del móvil
o la sección Apoyo al cliente de la página www.parrot.com).

4. Seleccione «Parrot PMK5800».

5. Entre el código «0000» en su teléfono cuando éste así
se lo indique.
> El Parrot PMK5800 anuncia «Enlace realizada»
(Emparejamiento realizado) cuando ya están enlazados
los dos aparatos.
> El idioma se selecciona automáticamente si su teléfono
admite esta función. Si no, puede escoger el idioma usted
mismo (para más información, consulte la sección «Selección
del idioma»).

4. Selección del idioma del Parrot

PMK5800

El idioma por defecto del Parrot PMK5800 es el inglés. Según
sea su teléfono, también se puede seleccionar en función
de la información de que dispone la tarjeta SIM.
Si selecciona el idioma manualmente, la selección automática
quedará desactivada hasta la próxima vez que se vuelva
a borrar la memoria.

Si desea seleccionar el idioma del Parrot PMK5800
manualmente:

1. Seleccione en el autorradio la frecuencia de emisión
del Parrot PMK5800.

2. Haga una pulsación breve sobre la rueda.
> El Parrot PMK5800 muestra el idioma que está seleccionado
en aquel momento.

3. Haga una nueva pulsación sobre la rueda para entrar
en el menú «Selección del idioma».

4. Utilice la rueda para seleccionar el idioma.

5. Pulse la rueda o sobre el botón verde para validar
el idioma seleccionado.

5. Ajuste de la frecuencia de emisión

Preset

La restitución de la comunicación y del streaming audio hacia
los altavoces de su coche implica que el Parrot PMK5800
y su autorradio se pueden regular a la misma frecuencia.
Para un mayor confort en la utilización, el Parrot PMK5800
le permite grabar las frecuencias de utilización mediante
la función «Preselección».

1. En su autorradio, escoja la frecuencia que va a destinar
al Parrot PMK5800 y vincúlela a una de las teclas de
preselección. Consulte el manual de su autorradio para
obtenermás información.

2. Pulse durante 2 segundos el botón Preset del Parrot
PMK5800 para pasar al modo de memorización de frecuencia.
> La zona de Preset parpadea.

3. Con la rueda, seleccione la frecuencia elegida
en su autorradio.

4. Seleccione la franja de memorización (número de Preset
vinculado a la frecuencia) pulsando brevemente el botón
Preset.

5. Pulse durante 2 segundos el botón Preset para vincular
la frecuencia a la franja seleccionada.
> El parpadeo de la zona de Preset se detiene: la frecuencia
seleccionada ha quedo vinculada a la franja de memoria.

ATENCIÓN: POR EVIDENTES RAZONES DE SEGURIDAD,
NO MODIFIQUE ESTA FRECUENCIA MIENTRAS CONDUZCA.

NOTA:

- PUEDE MEMORIZAR HASTA 9 FRECUENCIAS DE EMISIÓN.

- SI GRABA VARIAS FRECUENCIAS EN EL PARROT PMK5800,
UNA PULSACIÓN CORTA SOBRE EL BOTÓN PRESET PERMITE
ACCEDE A LA SIGUIENTE FRANJA GRABADA.

6. Cómo invertir la orientación

de la pantalla

Una pulsación larga sobre la tecla roja del Parrot PMK5800
permite invertir la orientación de la pantalla.

1. Navegación por los menús

• Pulse sobre la rueda para acceder a los menús. El kit indica el
nombre del menú en el que se está.

• Navegue por los menús girando la rueda y valide con la tecla
verde o pulsando en la rueda.

• Para salir del menú, pulse sobre el botón rojo o espere algunos
segundos.

2. Diagrama arbóreo de los menús

• Idioma: Este menú permite seleccionar el idioma del
Parrot PMK5800. Consulte la sección «Selección del idioma
del Parrot PMK5800».

• Añadir registros de voz: Este menú permite transferir
un contacto por Bluetooth desde su teléfono y asignarle
una etiqueta de voz.

• Grabar / Palabras mágicas : Este menú permite grabar
las palabras mágicas «teléfono» (para aceptar una llamada
entrante e iniciar el reconocimiento de voz) y «colgar» (para
colgar una llamada). También permite activarlas/desactivarlas
si se habían grabado anteriormente, con el fin de aprovechar
las capacidades avanzadas de la función de reconocimiento

• Grabar / las palabras claves: Este menú permite grabar las
palabras clave (útiles en el caso de que ciertos contactos
dispongan de varios números de teléfono), con el fin de
aprovechar las capacidades avanzadas de la función de
reconocimiento de voz del Parrot PMK5800. Para más
información, consulte la sección «Reconocimiento de voz».

• Actualización del software via Bluetooth: Active esta opción
antes de realizar la actualización vía Bluetooth
(www.parrot.com, sección Descargar). Esto permite aumentar
el número de dispositivos compatibles con su Parrot
PMK5800.

Descripción y utilización de las funciones

1. Reconocimiento de voz

El Parrot PMK5800 posee una función de reconocimiento de
voz integrada. Así podrá aprovechar esta función incluso si su
teléfono no dispone de la misma. La función de reconocimiento
de voz del Parrot PMK5800 está especialmente adaptada a su
uso en el coche.

1.1. Cómo grabar las palabras clave
y las palabras mágicas

Para ofrecerle el máximo de funciones, el Parrot PMK5800 le
permite grabar las palabras clave: «general», «móvil», «trabajo»,
«casa», «otro», así como las palabras mágicas «teléfono» y
«colgar».

• En el caso de que el contacto tenga varios números
de teléfono, las palabras clave le permiten elegir el número
de teléfono a llamar.

• La palabra mágica «teléfono» le permite aceptar una llamada
entrante así como activar la función de reconocimiento de voz.

• La palabra mágica «colgar» le permite colgar una llamada.

Para grabar las palabras clave y las palabras mágicas:

1. Seleccione en el autorradio la frecuencia de emisión
del Parrot PMK5800. Consulte la sección «Selección
de la frecuencia de emisión», para más información.

2. Pulse sobre la rueda para entrar en el menú y seleccione
«Grabación de las palabras clave».

3. Siga las indicaciones que le proporcione el kit. Deberá grabar
dos veces cada palabra clave para mejorar el reconocimiento.
> Cuando una palabra clave ha quedado bien grabada,
se puede seleccionar otra palabra clave.
Si no, el Parrot PMK5800 le va a pedir que la vuelva a grabar.

4. Salga del menú en cualquier momento pulsando el botón rojo.
Podrá volver a grabar o modificar las palabras clave cuando
así lo desee.

1.2. Cómo grabar contactos en el Parrot
PMK5800

Para utilizar la función de reconocimiento de voz del Parrot
PMK5800 deberá haber grabado antes sus contactos en la
memoria del kit manos libres. Debe enviar los contactos por
Bluetooth desde su móvil hacia el kit.
Para hacerlo:

1. Seleccione en el autorradio la frecuencia de emisión
del Parrot PMK5800. Consulte la sección «Selección de la
frecuencia de emisión», para más información.

2. Pulse sobre la rueda para entrar en el menú y seleccione
«Añadir etiquetas de voz».

3. Una vez haya entrada en este menú, la señal sonora
«A la espera de un contacto» le invitará a seleccionar
el contacto a enviar.

4. Desde su teléfono, seleccione el contacto y envíelo
por Bluetooth. Para más información, consulte el aviso
de su teléfono.

5. Una vez recibido el contacto, añada una etiqueta
de voz siguiendo las instrucciones.

IMPORTANTE: ANTES DEBE HABER GRABADO LAS ETIQUETAS DE VOZ
EN SU TELÉFONO O EN EL KIT (VER EL CAPÍTULO «RECONOCIMIENTO
DE VOZ»).

1. Seleccione en el autorradio la frecuencia de emisión del
Parrot PMK5800. Consulte la sección «Selección de la
frecuencia de emisión», para más información.

2. Haga una pulsación breve sobre el botón verde o pronuncie
la palabra mágica «teléfono». En este segundo caso, las
palabras mágicas deben haberse grabado con anterioridad
(ver el capítulo «Reconocimiento de voz»).
> Un «Bip» le informará de que ha pasado a reconocimiento
de voz.

3. Pronuncie el nombre de su interlocutor después del «bip».

4. En el caso que utilice el reconocimiento vocal del kit y si las
palabras mágicas han sido grabadas con anterioridad

(ver el capítulo «Reconocimiento de voz») pronuncie
«Casa», «Trabajo», «Móvil», «General» u «Otro» después del
segundo bip, si no marcará el número «preferido» del
contacto.

NOTA: PULSE EL BOTÓN ROJO PARA SALIR DEL MODO DE
RECONOCIMIENTO DE VOZ O ESPERE 5 SEGUNDOS.

2.3 Recepciòn de una llamada

Cuando entra una llamada, se escucha un timbre
en el Parrot PMK5800 y los LED verde y rojo parpadean.

• Si su autorradio ya está regulado en la
frecuencia de emisión del Parrot PMK5800,
pulse el botón verde para descolgar o el
botón rojo si desea rechazar la llamada.

• Si su autorradio no está regulado en la
frecuencia de emisión del Parrot PMK5800,
seleccione esta última. Así descuelga
automáticamente la llamada entrante.

• Si desea preservar la confidencialidad de su llamada, puede
simplemente descolgar con su propio teléfono. En ese caso,
se establecerá la comunicación en su teléfono y no en el
Parrot PMK5800.

2.4 Colgar una llamada

Preset

Para finalizar una comunicación, pulse el botón rojo
del Parrot PMK5800 o pronuncie la palabra mágica «colgar».
En este segundo caso,
las palabras mágicas
deben haberse grabado
con anterioridad
(ver el capítulo
«Reconocimiento de voz»).

2.5 Función de Rellamada

Pulse la tecla verde del kit durante dos segundos para volver a
llamar al último número marcado.

2.6 Ajuste del volumen

En el transcurso de la comunicación, utilice el mando de ajuste
del volumen de la radio, o regule el volumen directamente desde
su teléfono.

2.7 Modo discreto

• Durante la comunicación, si desea continuar la conversación
con el teléfono (en privado), pulse el botón verde del Parrot
PMK5800. La comunicación se transfiere al teléfono.

• Si desea volver a utilizar el Parrot PMK5800, pulse de nuevo
el botón verde.

2.8 Envío de DTMF

Durante una conversación, puede enviar DTMF (Dual-Tone
Multi-Frequency). Esto le permite, por ejemplo, gestionar sus
mensajes de voz.

1. Pulse el botón central, el kit indica «0».

2. Gire el botón central para que vayan pasando los números.

3. Pulse la rueda para enviar este número al teléfono.

4. Repita esta secuencia para enviar otros DTMF.

2.9 Borrar la memoria

Puede enlazar hasta 10 aparatos.

La función Streaming Audio le permite leer por los altavoces

reproductor de audio Bluetooth.

de los periféricos Bluetooth (consulte el manual
de su reproductor de audio o conéctese a www.parrot.com,

3. Seleccione «Parrot PMK5800».

4. Entre «0000» en su lector de audio cuando éste así
se lo indique.
> El Parrot PMK5800 anuncia «Emparejamiento realizado»
cuando ya se han enlazado ambos aparatos.
El aparato emite un bip cuando ya está conectado.

3.2. Reproducción de los archivos de música

Si hay una conexión activa para el Streaming Audio,
pulse el botón «Lectura / Pausa» para activar la reproducción
de archivos de música guardados en la memoria
de su teléfono / reproductor. Antes, debe haber sido
seleccionada la frecuencia de emisión del Parrot PMK5800
en el autorradio.

Durante la reproducción de un archivo de música,
podrá pasar a la canción siguiente o anterior con distintas
pulsaciones cortas, respectivamente, sobre los botones
«Siguiente» y «Anterior».

de audio al Parrot PMK5800 con el cable de audio USB / Jack

Introduzione

Grazie alla tecnologia Bluetooth, è possibile stabilire
comunicazioni audio e dati tramite una connessione radio
a breve distanza. Essa consente a svariate apparecchiature
elettroniche di comunicare tra loro, in particolare, i telefoni e i kit
vivavoce.

Parrot si avvale di svariati anni di esperienza nei settori
dell’elaborazione del segnale e del riconoscimento vocale per
proporvi un kit vivavoce che vanta una qualità audio straordinaria
nel corso delle comunicazioni: Parrot PMK5800.

Il sistema Parrot PMK5800 è un kit vivavoce Bluetooth
che, tramite un trasmettitore FM, consente di trasmettere
comunicazioni e musica agli altoparlanti del veicolo. Potrete così
trarre vantaggio dalla comodità dell’ascolto mediante l’impianto
audio del vostro veicolo, grazie ad un sistema che non necessita
di alcuna installazione.

Con il sistema Parrot PMK5800, potrete effettuare le chiamate
telefoniche all’interno del veicolo senza dover togliere le mani
dal volante. Inoltre, avrete la possibilità di utilizzare la funzione
Streaming Audio Bluetooth del kit vivavoce per ascoltare i
file musicali contenuti nel telefono, nel PDA o nel lettore auto
attraverso gli altoparlanti del veicolo (se i suddetti dispositivi

supportano la funzione di streaming audio). Collegando un
cavo audio USB/spinotto, tramite il kit Parrot PMK5800 potrete
trasmettere i file musicali a partire da qualsiasi lettore audio.
Il sistema Parrot PMK5800 funziona come una vera e propria
appendice del vostro telefono.

Primo utilizzo

1. Installazione

Il kit vivavoce Parrot PMK5800
funziona tramite la presa
dell’accendisigari.
Esso si adatta ad ogni tipo
di accendisigari, grazie alla
terminazione in gomma di cui
è dotato. Questa terminazione
potrebbe risultare necessaria
a seconda della larghezza
dell’accendisigari, a cui avvitarla
a livello della parte inferiore
dell’apparecchio.

Orientare correttamente lo schermo del kit vivavoce Parrot
PMK5800 facendo ruotare la base dello stesso oppure
premendo il tasto rosso per invertire l’orientamento della
visualizzazione.

NOTA: IL KIT PARROT PMK5800 FUNZIONA IN TUTTI I VEICOLI, AD

ECCEZIONE DEGLI AUTOMEZZI PESANTI A 24 V.

In rari casi, a causa dell’altezza a cui si trova l’accendisigari,
si consiglia di aggiungere una prolunga (non in dotazione) alla
presa dell’accendisigari.
Accertarsi in ogni caso che il kit si trovi in una posizione stabile
e facilmente raggiungibile durante la guida e lo svolgimento delle
operazioni da effettuare su di esso.

2. Sintonizzazione dell’autoradio

e del telefono

Tramite l’impianto audio del veicolo, il kit Parrot PMK5800
è in grado di diffondere i menu vocali, le comunicazioni e lo
streaming audio, trasmettendo tali dati grazie ad un trasmettitore
FM.
A tale scopo, è necessario regolare precedentemente l’autoradio
e il kit Parrot PMK5800 sulla stessa frequenza, in modo tale da
sintonizzare i due dispositivi.
È possibile regolare la frequenza del sistema Parrot PMK5800
mediante la rotellina presente sul kit vivavoce. Si consiglia di
selezionare frequenze non utilizzate da stazioni radio con ascolti
particolarmente elevati.

GEOGRAFICA IN CUI CI SI TROVA

Una volta effettuata la
sintonizzazione del kit Parrot
PMK5800 con l’autoradio, regolare
il volume dell’autoradio ad un livello
piuttosto elevato, quindi premere la
rotellina del kit Parrot PMK5800. A
questo punto, il kit vivavoce emette
un segnale acustico tramite gli
altoparlanti del veicolo. L’emissione
del segnale indica che il sistema
Parrot PMK5800 e l’autoradio sono
sintonizzati correttamente.

ATTENZIONE: SE IL KIT PARROT PMK5800
E L’AUTORADIO NON SONO SINTONIZZATI CORRETTAMENTE,
LA DIFFUSIONE DELLE INFORMAZIONI AUDIO ATTRAVERSO L’AUTORADIO
NON SARÀ POSSIBILE. PERTANTO, SI CONSIGLIA DI RISERVARE
UNA FREQUENZA SULL’AUTORADIO SPECIFICA PER L’USO DEL KIT

3. Associazione del telefono

al kit Parrot PMK5800

Durante l’uso di un apparecchio Bluetooth con il sistema Parrot
PMK5800, è necessario innanzitutto effettuare l’associazione dei
due apparecchi.

1. Accendere il telefono.

2. Collegare il sistema Parrot PMK5800 all’accendisigari e
accendere il motore del veicolo
> Il sistema Parrot PMK5800 emette il messaggio
«Accoppiare l’apparecchio».

3. Dal telefono Bluetooth, avviare una ricerca delle periferiche
Bluetooth (consultare le istruzioni del telefono o la sezione
dedicata ad assistenza e supporto all’indirizzo
www.parrot.com).

4. Selezionare «Parrot PMK5800».

5. Immettere il codice «0000» sul telefono quando richiesto.
> All’avvenuta associazione dei due apparecchi, il sistema
Parrot PMK5800 emette il messaggio «Pairing successfull».
> La lingua viene selezionata automaticamente, se il telefono
supporta tale funzione. Diversamente, è possibile impostare
la lingua manualmente (per ulteriori informazioni, consultare
la sezione «Selezione della lingua del sistema Parrot
PMK5800»)

4. Selezione della lingua del

sistema Parrot PMK5800

La lingua predefinita del sistema Parrot PMK5800 è l’inglese.
A seconda del telefono in uso, la lingua può essere impostata
in funzione delle informazioni contenute nella carta SIM. Se la
lingua viene impostata manualmente, la selezione automatica
verrà disattivata fino al successivo svuotamento della memoria.

Per selezionare manualmente la lingua del sistema Parrot
PMK5800:

1. Sull’autoradio, selezionare la frequenza di emissione
del sistema Parrot PMK5800.

2. Premere brevemente la rotellina.
> Il sistema Parrot PMK5800 emette un messaggio ad indicare
la lingua attualmente selezionata.

3. Premere di nuovo la rotellina per accedere al menu
«Seleziona lingua».

4. Per selezionare la lingua, utilizzare la rotellina.

5. Premere la rotellina o il tasto verde per confermare
la lingua selezionata.

5. Regolazione della frequenza

Per la trasmissione delle comunicazioni e dello streaming audio
agli altoparlanti del veicolo, è necessario che il sistema Parrot
PMK5800 e l’autoradio siano regolati sulla stessa frequenza.
Per maggiore comodità, con il sistema Parrot PMK5800
è possibile registrare le frequenze d’uso tramite il tasto di
preselezione.

1. Sull’autoradio, selezionare una frequenza da destinare
al sistema Parrot PMK5800 e associarla a un tasto di
preselezione. Per ulteriori informazioni, consultare le istruzioni
dell’autoradio.

2. Tenere premuto per 2 secondi il tasto di preselezione
del sistema Parrot PMK5800 per accedere alla modalità
di memorizzazione delle frequenze.
> L’indicatore del tasto di preselezione lampeggia.

3. Utilizzando la rotellina, selezionare la frequenza impostata
sull’autoradio.

4. Selezionare la sezione di memorizzazione (numero
di preselezione associato alla frequenza) premendo
brevemente il tasto di preselezione.

5. Tenere premuto per 2 secondi il tasto di preselezione
per associare la frequenza alla sezione selezionata.

> L’indicatore del tasto di preselezione smette di lampeggiare
ad indicare che la frequenza selezionata è stata associata
correttamente alla sezione di memoria.

ATTENZIONE: AI FINI DELLA SICUREZZA, NON MODIFICARE LA
FREQUENZA DURANTE LA GUIDA.

NOTA: - È POSSIBILE MEMORIZZARE UN MASSIMO DI 9 FREQUENZE

una chiamata). Questo menu consente inoltre di attivare
o disattivare tali parole se queste sono state precedentemente

• Aggiornamento del software mediante Bluetooth: attivare

1. Riconoscimento vocale

1.1. Registrazione delle parole magiche
e delle parole chiave

Per offrire funzioni ottimali, il sistema Parrot PMK5800 consente
di registrare le parole chiave «generale», «cellulare», «lavoro»,
«casa» e «altro» e le parole magiche «telefono» e «termina».

• Le parole chiave consentono di selezionare il numero
di telefono da chiamare qualora il destinatario della
telefonata disponga di più numeri di telefono.

• La parola magica «telefono» permette di accettare
una chiamata in entrata e di attivare la funzione
di riconoscimento vocale.

• La parola magica «termina» consente di terminare
una chiamata.

Per registrare le parole chiave e le parole magiche :

1. Sull’autoradio, selezionare la frequenza di emissione
del sistema Parrot PMK5800. Per ulteriori informazioni,
consultare la sezione «Regolazione della frequenza di
emissione».

2. Premere la rotellina per accedere al menu e selezionare
«Registra parole chiave».

3. Seguire le indicazioni fornite dal kit. Per il funzionamento
ottimale del riconoscimento vocale, è necessario registrare
due volte ogni parola chiave.
> Una volta registrata correttamente una parola chiave,
è possibile selezionarne un’altra. Diversamente, il sistema
Parrot PMK5800 richiederà di effettuare nuovamente la
registrazione.

4. Per uscire dal menu in qualsiasi momento, premere il tasto
rosso. Sarà possibile registrare di nuovo o modificare le parole
chiave in qualsiasi momento.

1.2. Registrazione dei contatti nel
sistema Parrot PMK5800

Per utilizzare la funzione di riconoscimento vocale
del sistema Parrot PMK5800, è necessario che i contatti siano
stati precedentemente registrati nella memoria del kit vivavoce.
Quindi, occorre inviare i contatti tramite Bluetooth dal telefono
cellulare al kit.
A tale scopo:

1. Sull’autoradio, selezionare la frequenza di emissione
del sistema Parrot PMK5800. Per ulteriori informazioni,
consultare la sezione «Regolazione della frequenza di
emissione».

2. Premere la rotellina per accedere al menu e selezionare
«Aggiungi nomi vocali».

3. Una volta aperto il menu, viene emesso il messaggio
«Attesa contatto» ad indicare che occorre selezionare
il contatto da inviare.

4. Sul telefono, selezionare il contatto e inviarlo tramite
Bluetooth. Per ulteriori informazioni, consultare le istruzioni
del telefono in uso.

5. Una volta ricevuto il contatto, aggiungere un nome vocale
attenendosi alle istruzioni.

1. Sull’autoradio, selezionare la frequenza di emissione
del sistema Parrot PMK5800. Per ulteriori informazioni,
consultare la sezione «Regolazione della frequenza di
emissione».

2. Premere brevemente il tasto verde oppure pronunciare
la parola magica «telefono». Nel secondo caso, è necessario
che le parole magiche siano state precedentemente registrate
(consultare la sezione «Riconoscimento vocale»).
> L’emissione di un segnale acustico indica l’attivazione della

funzione di riconoscimento vocale.

3. Dopo il segnale acustico, pronunciare il nome
dell’interlocutore desiderato.

4. Se viene utilizzata la funzione di riconoscimento vocale
del kit e se le parole magiche sono già state registrate
(vedere la sezione «Riconoscimento vocale»), pronunciare
le parole «casa», «lavoro», «cellulare», generale» o «altro»
dopo l’emissione del secondo segnale acustico, altrimenti
verrà composto il numero predefinito del contatto.

2.3 Ricezione delle chiamate

Le chiamate in entrata sono indicate da una suoneria emessa
dal sistema Parrot PMK5800 e dai LED lampeggianti verde e
rosso.

• Se l’autoradio è già stata regolata sulla frequenza di emissione
del sistema Parrot PMK5800, premere il tasto verde per
accettare la chiamata oppure il tasto rosso per rifiutarla.

• Se l’autoradio non è stata regolata sulla frequenza di emissione
del sistema Parrot PMK5800, selezionare la frequenza. La
chiamata in entrata viene così accettata automaticamente.

• Per comunicazioni riservate,

è possibile rispondere alle
chiamate semplicemente
utilizzando il telefono. In

2.4 Interruzione delle chiamate

Per terminare una comunicazione, premere il tasto rosso
del sistema Parrot PMK5800 oppure pronunciare la parola
magica «termina». Nel secondo caso,
è necessario che le parole
magiche siano state
precedentemente registrate
(consultare la sezione
«Riconoscimento vocale»).

2.5 Funzione di ripetizione degli
ultimi numeri chiamati

Tenere premuto per 2 secondi il tasto verde del kit
per richiamare l’ultimo numero composto.

2.6 Regolazione del volume

Durante la comunicazione, utilizzare il comando di regolazione
del volume dell’autoradio oppure regolare il volume direttamente
con il telefono.

2.7 Modalità privata

• Se durante una chiamata si desidera riprendere
la comunicazione sul telefono (comunicazione privata),
premere il tasto verde del sistema Parrot PMK5800.
La chiamata viene trasferita sul telefono.

• Se si desidera tornare al kit Parrot PMK5800, premere di nuovo
il tasto verde.

2.8 Invio di DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency)

Durante una chiamata, è possibile inviare toni DTMF
(Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency).
Ciò consente, ad esempio, di gestire la messaggeria vocale.

1. Premere la rotellina; il kit emette «0».

2. Ruotare la rotellina per fare scorrere le cifre.

3. Premere di nuovo la rotellina per inviare il numero al telefono.

4. Ripetere la procedura per inviare altri toni DTMF.

2.9 Come svuotare la memoria

È possibile eseguire l’associazione di un massimo
di 10 apparecchi.

• Se viene associato un undicesimo telefono,
il kit emette il messaggio «memoria piena».

• È necessario svuotare la memoria tenendo premuti
contemporaneamente il tasto verde e il tasto rosso
per 3 secondi. Questa operazione elimina inoltre tutti
i contatti e i relativi nomi vocali.

2.10 Disattivazione del microfono

• Se si desidera che durante la comunicazione l’interlocutore
non riceva l’audio, premere brevemente il tasto di lettura
del sistema Parrot PMK5800.

• Procedere allo stesso modo per riprendere la comunicazione.

3. Streaming audio tramite Bluetooth

La funzione Streaming Audio consente di leggere attraverso gli
altoparlanti del veicolo i brani musicali registrati sul lettore audio
Bluetooth.
La disponibilità di questa funzione dipende dal lettore audio
in uso (profilo Bluetooth A2DP). Questa funzione è inoltre
integrata in alcuni telefoni. Per ulteriori informazioni, consultare il

3.1. Associazione del lettore audio
con il sistema Parrot PMK5800

NOTA: SE IL TELEFONO VIENE UTILIZZATO PER LE FUNZIONI VIVAVOCE
E STREAMING AUDIO, LA SEGUENTE PROCEDURA NON È NECESSARIA.
IL TELEFONO È GIÀ RICONOSCIUTO DAL KIT.

1. Sull’autoradio, selezionare la frequenza di emissione
del sistema PMK5800. Per ulteriori informazioni, consultare

2. Dal lettore audio Bluetooth, avviare una ricerca delle
periferiche Bluetooth (consultare le istruzioni del lettore audio
o la sezione dedicata ad assistenza e supporto all’indirizzo
www.parrot.com).

3. Selezionare «Parrot PMK5800».

4. Immettere «0000» sul lettore audio quando richiesto.

3.3. Come effettuare una pausa durante

la lettura dei file musicali

• Durante la lettura dei file musicali, premere brevemente
il tasto di lettura/pausa per interrompere momentaneamente
la lettura dei file musicali.

• Una breve pressione del tasto di lettura/pausa consente
di riattivare la lettura del file musicale.

3.4. Arresto della lettura dei file musicali

Tenere premuto il tasto lettura/pausa per arrestare la lettura
dei file musicali.

3.5. Regolazione del volume

La regolazione del volume può essere effettuata esclusivamente
tramite l’autoradio.

3.6. Selezione dei file musicali

Durante la lettura di un file musicale, è possibile passare
al brano successivo o precedente premendo rispettivamente
i tasti di ricerca in avanti e all’indietro.

4. Streaming audio tramite cavo audio

Con il sistema Parrot PMK5800, è possibile diffondere l’audio
dei file musicali tramite gli altoparlanti del veicolo, anche se il
lettore audio non è dotato della funzione Bluetooth o del profilo
Bluetooth AD2P. È sufficiente collegare il lettore audio al sistema
Parrot PMK5800 utilizzando il cavo audio USB/spinotto in
dotazione.

La gestione dei file musicali (selezione dei file musicali, lettura,
arresto e ricerca rapida in avanti/all’indietro) può essere
effettuata esclusivamente tramite il lettore audio. È possibile
sospendere/riprendere la diffusione di una sorgente audio
esterna premendo il tasto di lettura del sistema Parrot PMK5800.
A tale scopo, è necessario che precedentemente sull’autoradio
sia stata selezionata la frequenza di emissione del sistema Parrot
PMK5800.

Aggiornamento del software

È possibile aggiornare il software del sistema Parrot PMK5800
in uso tramite Bluetooth. L’aggiornamento consente di usufruire
di nuove funzionalità, nonché di ottimizzare la compatibilità con
un numero superiore di telefoni. Quest’ultimo avviene mediante
Bluetooth a partire da un computer dotato della tecnologia
Bluetooth.
L’aggiornamento viene eseguito tramite un’interfaccia: il software
Parrot Flash Update Wizard. Questo programma è scaricabile,

Die Bluetooth-Technologie ermöglicht eine Übertragung
von Sprache und Daten über kurze Entfernungen per
Funkverbindung. Unter Rückgriff auf Bluetooth können
unterschiedliche elektronische Geräte miteinander
kommunizieren, insbesondere Telefone und Freisprechanlagen.
Aufbauend auf seine langjährige Erfahrung im Bereich
Signalverarbeitung und Spracherkennung kann Parrot heute
mit einer Freisprechanlage aufwarten, die sich durch eine
herausragende Audioqualität bei der Kommunikation
auszeichnet – die Parrot PMK5800.

Die Bluetooth-basierte Freisprechanlage Parrot PMK5800
greift auf einen UKW-Sender zurück und ermöglicht dadurch
die Wiedergabe von Telefongesprächen wie auch von Musik
über die Lautsprecher Ihres Kraftfahrzeugs. Damit profitieren
Sie uneingeschränkt von dem Hörkomfort, den Ihnen das
Audiosystem Ihres Fahrzeugs bereitstellt – und das dank einer
Anlage ohne jeden Installationsaufwand.

Mit der Parrot PMK5800 können Sie alle anstehenden Anrufe
erledigen, während Sie mit dem Auto unterwegs sind – Ihre
Hände bleiben dabei am Steuer. Die Audio-Streaming-Funktion
der Freisprechanlage ermöglicht Ihnen darüber hinaus die
Wiedergabe der Musikdateien auf Ihrem Telefon/PDA oder

Erste Verwendung

1. Installation

Die Freisprechanlage Parrot
PMK5800 wird einfach nur
an den Zigarettenanzünder
angeschlossen. Im Lieferumfang
ist ein Anschlussstück aus Gummi
enthalten, sodass die Anlage
mit jedem beliebigen Typ von
Zigarettenanzünder verbunden
werden kann. Ob die Verwendung
des Anschlussstücks erforderlich
ist, hängt von der Breite Ihres
Zigarettenanzünders ab. Schrauben Sie in diesem Fall das
Anschlussstück an der Unterseite des Geräts fest.

Richten Sie das Display der Parrot PMK5800 bedarfsgerecht
aus. Drehen Sie dazu die Basis der Freisprechanlage
entsprechend oder drücken Sie die rote Taste, um die
Ausrichtung des Displays umzukehren.

HINWEIS: DIE PARROT PMK5800 KANN IN SÄMTLICHEN KFZ-TYPEN

EINGESETZT WERDEN (MIT AUSNAHME VON LKWS MIT 24V­VERSORGUNG).

In einigen wenigen Fällen ist aufgrund der besonderen Tiefe des
Zigarettenanzünders die Verwendung eines entsprechenden
Verlängerungsstücks zu empfehlen (nicht im Lieferumfang
enthalten).
Sie sollten jedoch in jedem Fall darauf achten, dass der
Anschluss leicht zugänglich ist und sowohl während des Fahrens
als auch bei der Handhabung stets in einer stabilen Position
verbleibt.

2. Abstimmung von Autoradio

und Telefon

Für die Wiedergabe von Sprachmenüs, Telefongesprächen und
Audio Streaming greift die Parrot PMK5800 auf das Audiosystem
Ihres Kraftfahrzeugs zurück. Die Übertragung der Audiodaten
erfolgt dabei mithilfe eines UKW-Senders.
Sie müssen allerdings zunächst Ihr Autoradio und die Parrot
PMK5800 auf eine gemeinsame Frequenz einstellen: Durch
diesen Vorgang werden Parrot PMK5800 und Autoradio auf
dieselbe Frequenz abgestimmt.
Sie können die Frequenzeinstellung der Parrot PMK5800 über

das Reglerrad der Freisprechanlage vornehmen.
Wählen Sie dabei vorzugsweise eine Frequenz, die nicht von
Radiosendern mit großem Deckungsbereich verwendet werden.

Nach der Abstimmung der Parrot
PMK5800 auf das Autoradio
sollten Sie die Lautstärke des
Autoradios auf einen eher hohen
Pegel einstellen. Drücken Sie
dann das Reglerrad auf der Parrot
PMK5800. Die Freisprechanlage
gibt daraufhin einen Signalton über
die Lautsprecher des Wagens aus.
Anhand dieses Signals stellt die Parrot PMK5800 sicher, dass die
Abstimmung mit dem Autoradio erfolgreich durchgeführt wurde.

3. Kopplung eines Telefons mit

der Parrot PMK5800

Wenn Sie ein Bluetooth-fähiges Gerät mit der Parrot PMK5800
verwenden möchten, müssen Sie zunächst beide Geräte
koppeln.

1. Schalten Sie das Telefon ein.

2. Schließen Sie die Parrot PMK5800 an den Zigarettenanzünder
an und drehen Sie den Zündschlüssel.
> Die Parrot PMK5800 gibt den Hinweis «Bitte koppeln Sie
System» aus.

3. Starten Sie ausgehend von Ihrem Bluetooth-Telefon eine
Suche nach Bluetooth-Peripheriegeräten (sehen Sie sich
diesbezüglich die Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Telefons an
oder besuchen Sie unsere Website www.parrot.com, Rubrik
«Kundenkontakt»).

4. Wählen Sie das Gerät «Parrot PMK5800».

5. Geben Sie bei der entsprechenden Aufforderung den Code
«0000» auf Ihrem Telefon ein.
> Die Parrot PMK5800 gibt den Hinweis «Kopplung erfol
greich» aus, sobald beide Geräte erfolgreich gekoppelt wur
den.
> Die Auswahl der Sprache erfolgt automatisch, sofern diese
Funktion von Ihrem Telefon unterstützt wird. Andernfalls kön
nen Sie die gewünschte Sprache selbst auswählen (detaillierte
Informationen hierzu finden Sie im Abschnitt «Auswahl der
Sprache für die Parrot PMK5800»).

HINWEIS: SIE KÖNNEN BIS ZU 10 TELEFONE MIT DER PMK5800
KOPPELN.

4. Auswahl der Sprache für die

Parrot PMK5800

Standardmäßig wird auf der Parrot PMK5800 Englisch als
Systemsprache verwendet. Je nach Ihrem Telefon kann sich
die Freisprechanlage jedoch auch an die auf der SIM-Karte
enthaltenen Informationen anpassen. Wenn Sie die Sprache
manuell einstellen, wird die automatische Sprachauswahl bis
zum nächsten Löschen des Speichers deaktiviert.

Sie möchten die Sprache für die Parrot PMK5800 manuell
auswählen:

1. Wählen Sie auf dem Autoradio die Sendefrequenz der
Parrot PMK5800.

2. Drücken Sie kurz das Reglerrad.
> Die Parrot PMK5800 gibt die derzeit gewählte Sprache aus.

3. Drücken Sie erneut das Reglerrad, um das Menü «Sprache
wählen» zu öffnen.

4. Verwenden Sie das Reglerrad, um die gewünschte Sprache
auszuwählen.

5. Drücken Sie das Reglerrad oder die grüne Taste, um Ihre
Sprachauswahl zu bestätigen.

5. Einstellung der Sendefrequenz

Damit Ihre Telefongespräche über die Lautsprecher Ihres
Fahrzeugs wiedergegeben werden können bzw. um Audio
Streaming zu ermöglichen, müssen die Parrot PMK5800 und das
Autoradio auf dieselbe Frequenz abgestimmt werden.
Um Ihnen dies zu erleichtern, ermöglicht Ihnen die Parrot
PMK5800 die Speicherung der zu verwendenden Frequenz
mithilfe der Stationswahltaste.

1. Stimmen Sie auf Ihrem Autoradio eine Frequenz ab,
die Sie für die Parrot PMK5800 reservieren möchten,
und weisen Sie der Frequenz eine Stationstaste

zu. Detaillierte Informationen hierzu finden Sie in der
Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Autoradios.

2. Halten Sie die Stationswahltaste auf der Parrot PMK5800 zwei
Sekunden lang gedrückt, um in den Stationsspeichermodus
umzuschalten.

1. Navigation in den Menüs

• Wählen Sie auf dem Autoradio die Sendefrequenz der
Parrot PMK5800. Detaillierte Informationen hierzu finden Sie im
Abschnitt «Einstellung der Sendefrequenz».

• Drücken Sie das zentrale Reglerrad, um auf die Menüs
zuzugreifen. Die Freisprechanlage gibt den Namen des
aktuellen Menüs aus.

• Die Navigation in den Menüs erfolgt durch Drehen des
Reglerrads. Ihre Auswahl bestätigen Sie durch Drücken der
grünen Tastebzw. durch Drücken des Reglerrads.

• Um ein Menü wieder zu verlassen, drücken Sie die rote Taste
oder warten Sie einfach ein paar Sekunden.

2. Verfügbare Menüs

• Sprache: Dieses Menü ermöglicht die Auswahl der Sprache
für die Parrot PMK5800. Siehe hierzu den Abschnitt
«Auswahl der Sprache für die Parrot PMK5800».

• Stimmabdrücke hinzufügen: Dieses Menüs ermöglicht
die Übertragung eines Kontakts von Ihrem Telefon per
Bluetooth sowie die anschließende Zuweisung eines
Stimmabdrucks.

• Zauberworte aufnehmen: Dieses Menü ermöglicht die
Aufzeichnung und Speicherung der Zauberwörter «Telefon»

(für die Annahme eines eingehenden Anrufs und die Aktivierung
der Spracherkennung) und «Auflegen» (für die Beendigung
eines Anrufs). Die gespeicherten Zauberwörter können dann
über dieses Menü aktiviert bzw. deaktiviert werden, damit der
Benutzer die erweiterten Funktionen der Spracherkennung,
die mit der Parrot PMK5800 bereitstehen, uneingeschränkt
nutzen kann. Detaillierte Informationen hierzu finden Sie im

• Schlüsselwörter speichern: Dieses Menü ermöglicht die
Speicherung von Schlüsselwörtern (die sich als überaus
nützlich erweisen können, wenn ein Kontakt über mehrere
Telefonnummern verfügt), damit auch die erweiterten
Spracherkennungsfunktionen der Parrot PMK5800
dem Benutzer uneingeschränkt zur Verfügung stehen.

der Funktionen

1. Spracherkennung

Die Parrot PMK5800 stellt eine integrierte
Spracherkennungsfunktion bereit. Damit steht Ihnen diese
fortschrittliche Funktion zur Verfügung, auch wenn Ihr Telefon
nicht damit ausgestattet ist. Die Spracherkennungsfunktion
der Parrot PMK5800 wurde gezielt auf eine Verwendung beim
Autofahren ausgerichtet.

1.1 Speichern der Schlüssel- und
der Zauberwörter

Damit Sie den gebotenen Funktionsumfang optimal nutzen können,
ermöglicht Ihnen die Parrot PMK5800 die Speicherung von
Schlüsselwörtern: «Allgemein», «Handy», «Geschäftlich», «Privat»
und «Andere». Darüber hinaus können die Zauberwörter «Telefon»
und «Auflegen» aufgezeichnet werden.

• Mithilfe der Schlüsselwörter kann die zu wählende
Rufnummer ausgewählt werden, wenn für einen Kontakt
mehrere Nummern gespeichert wurden.

• Das Zauberwort «Telefon» ermöglicht die Annahme eines
eingehenden Anrufs sowie die Aktivierung der
Spracherkennung.

• Mit dem Zauberwort «Auflegen» können Sie ein Gespräch
beenden.

So zeichnen Sie die Schlüssel- und Zauberwörter auf:

1. Wählen Sie auf dem Autoradio die Sendefrequenz der
Parrot PMK5800. Detaillierte Informationen hierzu finden Sie
im Abschnitt «Einstellung der Sendefrequenz».

2. Drücken Sie das Reglerrad, um das entsprechende Menü
zu öffnen, und wählen Sie die Option «Schlüsselwörter
speichern».

3. Halten Sie sich dann an die von der Freisprechanlage
ausgegebenen Anweisungen. Um eine optimale Erkennung
zu gewährleisten, muss jedes Schlüsselwort zweimal
aufgezeichnet werden.
> Nach der erfolgreichen Aufzeichnung und Speicherung
eines Schlüsselworts können Sie ein anderes Schlüsselwort
wählen. Andernfalls müssen Sie das Schlüsselwort erneut
speichern.

4. Durch Drücken der roten Taste können Sie das Menü
jederzeit wieder verlassen. Sie können dann ganz nach
Bedarf zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt zurückkehren, um neue
Schlüsselwörter aufzuzeichnen oder bereits gespeicherte
Schlüsselwörter zu ändern.

1.2. Speichern der Kontakte in der Parrot
PMK5800

Um die Spracherkennungsfunktion der Parrot PMK5800 nutzen
zu können, müssen Sie zuvor Ihre Kontakte im Speicher der
Freisprechanlage ablegen. Übertragen Sie dazu Ihre Kontakte
per Bluetooth von Ihrem Mobiltelefon auf die Anlage. Gehen Sie
dazu vor wie folgt:

1. Wählen Sie auf dem Autoradio die Sendefrequenz der Parrot
PMK5800. Detaillierte Informationen hierzu finden Sie im
Abschnitt «Einstellung der Sendefrequenz».

2. Drücken Sie das Reglerrad, um das entsprechende Menü
zu öffnen, und wählen Sie dann die Option «Stimmabdrücke
hinzufügen».

3. Nach der Auswahl dieser Option wird der Hinweis «Warten
auf Kontakt» ausgegeben. Damit werden Sie zur Auswahl
eines Kontakts für die Übertragung aufgefordert.

4. Wählen Sie den gewünschten Kontakt auf Ihrem Telefon
und senden Sie ihn per Bluetooth an die
Freisprechanlage. Detaillierte Anweisungen hierzu finden Sie
in der Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Telefons.

5. Fügen Sie dem Kontakt nach dem Empfang einen
Stimmabdruck hinzu. Halten Sie sich dazu an die
ausgegebenen Anweisungen.

Telefonie

2.1 Manuelles Tätigen eines Anrufs

• Geben Sie die Rufnummer über die Tastatur Ihres Telefons ein
und starten Sie den Verbindungsaufbau.

• Das Gespräch wird automatisch in den Freisprechmodus
geschaltet. Ist das nicht der Fall, dann drücken Sie die grüne
Taste auf der Parrot PMK5800.

2.2 Tätigen eines Anrufs über die
Spracherkennung

WICHTIG: SIE MÜSSEN ZUVOR DIE ENTSPRECHENDEN
STIMMABDRÜCKE AUF IHREM TELEFON ODER AUF DER
FREISPRECHANLAGE SPEICHERN (SIEHE DAS KAPITEL

verwenden und zuvor die Zauberwörter aufgezeichnet haben
(siehe das Kapitel «Spracherkennung»), sagen Sie nach dem
zweiten Signalton das Zauberwort «Privat», «Geschäftlich»,
«Handy», «Allgemein» oder «Andere». Andernfalls wird die
Standard-Rufnummer des Kontakts gewählt.

2.3 Annehmen eines Anrufs

Ein eingehender Anruf wird durch einen Rufton auf der Parrot
PMK5800 angekündigt. Gleichzeitig fangen die grüne und rote
LED zu blinken an.

• Wenn Ihr Autoradio bereits auf die Sendefrequenz der Parrot
PMK5800 abgestimmt ist, drücken Sie die grüne Taste, um
den Anruf anzunehmen. Durch Drücken der roten Taste wird
der Anruf abgelehnt.

• Ist das Autoradio noch nicht auf die Sendefrequenz der
Parrot PMK5800 abgestimmt, dann wählen Sie diese. Der
eingehende Anruf wird dadurch automatisch angenommen.

• Um die Vertraulichkeit eines privaten Gesprächs zu
gewährleisten, können Sie den Anruf auch ganz einfach auf
Ihrem Telefon entgegennehmen. Ihr Gespräch wird dann an
das Telefon übertragen und nicht über die Parrot PMK5800
ausgegeben.

2.4 Beenden eines Anrufs

Preset

Um ein Gespräch zu beenden, drücken Sie die rote Taste auf der
Parrot PMK5800 oder sprechen Sie das Zauberwort «Auflegen».
Letzteres ist nur möglich, wenn Sie zuvor die Zauberwörter
aufgezeichnet haben (siehe das Kapitel «Spracherkennung»).

2.4 Wahlwiederholung

Drücken Sie die grüne Taste auf dem Gerät und halten Sie sie
zwei Sekunden lang gedrückt, um die zuletzt gewählte
Nummer erneut zu wählen.

2.5 Einstellen der Lautstärke

Im Verlauf eines Gesprächs können Sie die Lautstärke über den
Lautstärkeregler des Autoradios oder direkt auf Ihrem Telefon
anpassen.

2.7 Diskreter Modus

• Wenn Sie ein laufendes Gespräch auf Ihr Telefon
zurückschalten möchten (privates Gespräch), drücken Sie
die grüne Taste auf der Parrot PMK5800. Das Gespräch wird
dadurch auf Ihr Telefon umgeschaltet.

• Wenn Sie nach einer gewissen Zeit wieder die Parrot PMK5800
verwenden möchten, drücken Sie die grüne Taste erneut.

2.8 Verwenden des Tonwahlverfahrens (MFV/
DTMF)

Bei aktiver Verbindung können Sie nach Bedarf DTMF­Frequenzen senden (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency). Das ermöglicht
Ihnen beispielsweise die Steuerung Ihrer Sprachmailbox.

1. Drücken Sie das Reglerrad. Die Freisprechanlage gibt
daraufhin den Hinweis «0» aus.

2. Drehen Sie das Reglerrad, um die verfügbaren Ziffern zu
durchlaufen.

3. Drücken Sie erneut das Reglerrad, um die gewählte Ziffer an
das Telefon zu senden.

4. Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang, um weitere DTMF-Wahltöne
zu übertragen.

2.10 Löschen des Speichers

• Sie können die Freisprechanlage mit bis zu 10 Geräten
koppeln.

• Bei dem Versuch, ein 11. Telefon zu koppeln, gibt die
Freisprechanlage den Hinweis «Speicher voll» aus.

• Sie müssen in diesem Fall den Speicher leeren. Drücken Sie
dazu gleichzeitig die rote und die grüne Taste und halten Sie
sie 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt. Dabei werden ebenfalls alle
Kontakte und zugehörigen Stimmabdrücke gelöscht.

• Wenn Ihr Gesprächspartner Sie zu einem bestimmten
Zeitpunkt des Gesprächs nicht hören soll,
drücken Sie kurz die Wiedergabetaste auf der Parrot
PMK5800.

• Gehen Sie zur Wiederaufnahme des Gesprächs genauso vor.

3. Audio Streaming per Bluetooth

Die Audio-Streaming-Funktion ermöglicht Ihnen die Wiedergabe
der auf Ihrem Bluetooth-Audio-Player gespeicherten Musiktitel
über die Lautsprecher Ihres Kraftfahrzeugs.
Die Verfügbarkeit dieser Funktion ist von Ihrem Audio-Player
abhängig (Profil Bluetooth A2DP). Auch einige Telefone unterstüt­zen diese Funktion. Weitere Informationen finden Sie auf unserer

3.1. Kopplung eines Audio-Players mit
der Parrot PMK5800

3.2 Wiedergabe von Musikdateien

Sobald eine Verbindung für das Audio
Streaming besteht, drücken Sie die
Wiedergabe-/Pausetaste, um die Wiedergabe
der im Speicher Ihres Telefons bzw. Players
abgelegten Musikdateien zu starten. Zuvor
muss auf Ihrem Autoradio die Sendefrequenz
der Parrot PMK5800 gewählt werden.

3.3 Pausieren der Wiedergabe von
Musikdateien

• Drücken Sie bei laufender Wiedergabe einer Musikdatei kurz
auf die Wiedergabe-/Pausetaste. Dadurch wird die Wiedergabe
vorübergehend angehalten.

• Durch erneutes kurzes Drücken der Wiedergabe-/Pausetaste
wird die Wiedergabe der Musikdatei fortgesetzt.

3.4 Stopp der Wiedergabe von Musikdateien

Halten Sie die Wiedergabe-/Pausetaste etwas länger gedrückt,
um die Wiedergabe der Musikdateien zu beenden.

3.5 Einstellen der Lautstärke

Die Einstellung der Lautstärke ist nur über das Autoradio
möglich.

3.6 Auswahl von Musikdateien

Bei der Wiedergabe einer Musikdatei können Sie durch Drücken
der Suchtasten +/– zum jeweils nächsten Titel vor- bzw. zum

4. Audio Streaming per Audiokabel

Die Parrot PMK5800 ermöglicht Ihnen die Wiedergabe Ihrer
Musikdateien über die Lautsprecher Ihres Fahrzeugs, und zwar
auch denn, wenn Ihr Audio-Player über keine Bluetooth-Funk­tion verfügt bzw. das Profil Bluetooth AD2P nicht unterstützt. In
diesem Fall verbinden Sie Ihren Audio-Player ganz einfach über
das im Lieferumfang enthaltene USB-/Jack-Audiokabel mit der
Parrot PMK5800.

Die Steuerung der Musikwiedergabe (Auswahl der Musikdateien,
Wiedergabe, Stopp und schneller Vor-/Rücklauf) erfolgt
ausschließlich über den Audio-Player. Für die kurzzeitige
Unterbrechung und anschließende Wiederaufnahme
der Wiedergabe von einer externen Audioquelle kann
die Wiedergabetaste auf der Parrot PMK5800 gedrückt
werden. Dazu muss allerdings zuvor auf dem Autoradio die
Sendefrequenz der Parrot PMK5800 gewählt werden.

Aktualisierung per Bluetooth

Sie haben die Möglichkeit, die Softwarepacket der Parrot
PMK5800 über eine Bluetooth-Verbindung zu aktualisieren.
Durch eine Aktualisierung können neue Funktionen hinzugefügt
werden.
Außerdem lässt sich die Kompatibilität mit einer größtmöglichen
Anzahl von Telefonen gewährleisten. Die Aktualisierung erfolgt
per Bluetooth über einen Bluetooth-fähigen Computer.
Für die Aktualisierung steht eine spezifische Oberfläche zur
Verfügung: Der Assistent für Flash-Aktualisierungen von Parrot,

Inleiding

Met de Bluetooth technologie kunnen via een radioverbinding
over korte afstand communicaties (spraak en gegevens) tot
stand worden gebracht. Hierdoor kunnen tal van elektronische
apparaten met elkaar communiceren, met name telefoons en
handsfree-kits.

Parrot heeft zijn jarenlange ervaring in signaalverwerking en
spraakherkenning benut om u een handsfree-kit te kunnen
bieden met een superieure geluidskwaliteit
voor uw gesprekken: de Parrot PMK5800.

De Parrot PMK5800 is een Bluetooth handsfree-kit waarmee
u door middel van een FM-zender uw telefoongesprekken of
muziek via de luidsprekers van uw auto kunt beluisteren. Zo
kunt u het luistercomfort van het geluidssysteem van uw auto
benutten en dit dankzij een systeem dat geen enkele installatie
vereist.

Met de Parrot PMK5800 kunt u vanuit uw auto telefoneren
terwijl u uw handen aan het stuur houdt. Bovendien kunt u
de Streaming Audio functie van uw handsfree-kit gebruiken
om de in uw telefoon / PDA of muziekspeler opgeslagen
muziekbestanden via de luidsprekers van uw auto te beluisteren
(mits uw telefoon/ PDA of muziekspeler de Streaming

Audio functie ondersteunt). Met de Parrot PMK5800 kunt u
muziekbestanden van elke willekeurige muziekspeler beluisteren
dankzij een USB naar jack audiokabel. De Parrot PMK5800
functioneert als een effectief verlengstuk van uw mobiele
telefoon.

Eerste ingebruikneming

1. Installatie

De Parrot PMK5800 is een
handsfree-kit die functioneert op
de sigarenaansteker van de auto.
De Parrot PMK5800 kan aan
alle typen sigarenaansteker
worden aangepast dankzij de
meegeleverde rubberen adapter.
Afhankelijk van de diameter van
uw sigarenaansteker kan deze
adapter nodig zijn: u kunt hem
op het onderste gedeelte van het
apparaat schroeven.

Zet de display van de Parrot PMK5800 in de gewenste stand
door de voet van de handsfree-kit te draaien of door op de rode
toets te drukken om de weergavestand om te keren.
