The Park Tool BBT-90.3 Press Fit Bottom Bracket Bearing Tool Set is designed for installation and removal of the bearings and bear­ing units used in BB90, BB92, Shimano
tems. The BBT-90.3 includes a bearing removal tool and two bushing, which are used in conjunction with a Park Tool Bearing Cup
Press (HHP-2 or HHP-3) to press the bearings into the bottom bracket shell.

BEARING REMOVAL:

1. Insert and pull removal tool through bearing
or bearing/sleeve unit until flared end of tool
snaps behind bearing or sleeve.

2. Strike tapered end cap with hammer to

drive bearing or bearing/sleeve unit from
frame.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 on opposite side to re-

move second bearing or bearing/sleeve unit.

BEARING INSTALLATION:

1. Assemble installation bushings, bottom
bracket bearings, bottom bracket shell, and
headset press as shown.

2. Turn handle of bearing cup press, making
sure the bushings, bearings, and bottom
bracket shell stay aligned. Continue press­ing until each bearing bottoms against the
stop (a snap ring or machined stop) inside
the bottom bracket shell.

Lagerschalen:

Press Fit Innenlager und Press Fit Lager-/
Hülsen-Einheiten schnell und einfach ent­fernen bzw. montieren. Dieser Lagertyp wird
bei BB90, BB92, Shimano press fit, SRAM
press fit GXP, Race Face press fit und an­deren Innenlager-Systemen verwendet. Das
Montage-Set enthält einen Austreiber sowie
zwei Montagehülsen für die Installation der
Lagerschalen in Verbindung mit einem Park
Tool Einpresswerkzeug (HHP-2 oder HHP-3).

LAGER ENTFERNEN

1. Schieben Sie den Austreiber durch das
Lager bzw. die Lager-/Hülsen-Einheit bis das
aufgespreizte Ende hinter Lager oder Hülse
einschnappt.

2. Klopfen Sie mit einem Hammer auf das ab-

geflachte Ende des Werkzeugs, um das Lager
bzw. die Lager-/Hülsen-Einheit aus dem Rah­men zu entfernen.

3. Wiederholen Sie die Schritte 1-2 beim zweiten
Lager.

LAGER MONTIEREN

1. Montieren Sie Montagehülsen, Lagerschalen
und Einpresswerkzeug wie abgebildet in der
Tretlagermuffe.

2. Drehen Sie den Griff des Einpresswerkzeugs
und achten Sie darauf, dass dabei Montagehül­sen, Lagerschalen und Tretlagermuffe fluchten.
Setzen Sie den Einpressvorgang solange fort,
bis jede Lagerschale gegen den vorgesehenen
Widerstand im Innern der Tretlagermuffe stößt
(Klemmring oder integrierter Stopp).

L’extracteur de roulement press fit BBT-90.3
de Park Tool est conçu pour installer et retirer
les roulements utilisés pour les BB90, BB92,
Shimano press fit, SRAM press fit GXP, Race
Face press fit et d’autres systèmes de boitier
Press Fit. Le BBT-90.3 inclus un extracteur de
roulements ainsi que deux guides de montage,
utilisés en association avec un presse cuvette
Park Tool (HHP-2 ou HHP-3) pour introduire les
roulements dans le boitier.

EXTRACTION DES ROULEMENTS

1. Insérer l’outil d’extraction à travers le
roulement jusqu’à ce que la partie évasée «
claque » derrière le roulement.

2. Frapper la tête de l’outil avec un marteau afin

d’extraire le roulement du cadre.

3. Répéter l’étape 1 et 2 pour le coté opposé du

boitier.

MONTAGE DES ROULEMENTS

1. Assembler les guides, les roulements, le

boitier de pédalier et le presse cuvette comme
indiqué.

2. Tourner la poignée du presse cuvette, en vérifi-

ant bien que les guides, les roulements et le
boitier restent bien alignés. Continuer à serrer
jusqu’à ce que chaque roulement arrive en
butée (un circlip ou une butée usinée dans le
cadre).

BBT-90.3 Extractor para Baleros de Pre­sion para Caja de Centro:

El extractor BBT-90.3 de Park Tool para baleros
para caja de centro esta diseñado para instalar
y remover baleros y baleros sellados de la caja
de centro que son utilizados en los sistemas de
tipo BB90, BB92, Shimano, press fit, Sram, GXP
y Race Face entre otros. El BBT-90.3 incluye un
extractor de balero con dos bujes, que usados
en conjunto con la prensa para taza de centro
(HHP-2 o HHP-3) colocan el balero de presión en
la caja de centro.

EXTRACCIÓN DE BALERO

1. Inserte y empuje el BBT-90 a través de la caja
de centro hasta que las uñas hagan contacto
con el balero o el seguro (Fig.1).

2. Martille el extremo opuesto del BBT-90

contra el balero o seguro hasta sacarlo de la
caja de centro (Fig.2).

3. Repita el proceso con el balero o seguro

opuesto.

INSTALACIÓN DE BALERO

1. Instale uno de los bujes en la prensa para
taza de centro, coloque el balero introduzca el
conjunto a través de la caja de centro colo­que el balero opuesto y maneral de la prensa
alineándolos como se muestra (Fig.1).

2. Haga presión con el maneral en sentido de las
manecillas del reloj cuidando que los bujes y
baleros estén alineados. Continué presionando
hasta que los baleros entren hasta el tope de la
caja de centro para colocarlos (Fig.2).
