This model is 100% ready to RUN. It has been factory tested and trimmed to run as soon as the batteries are charged. This manual is an overview of the construction and operation of this R/C model to be used as a reference.
WARNING NOTES
- A RC model is by no means a harmless plaything. If handled incompetently or carelessly it can cause injury to persons and damage to property.
- When the RC model’s motor is running, anything and everything that gets into the rotational plane of the propeller is either damaged or destroyed – and that includes parts of your body. Please take extreme care at all times with this machine.
- If any object obstructs the rotation of the propeller, severe damage will probably be caused to the propeller as well as the object. Broken parts may result in enormous imbalance; the whole model then falls into sympathetic vibration.
- You may also lose control if a problem arises in the radio control system, perhaps as a result of outside interference, component failure or fl at or faulty batteries, but in any case the result is the same: the RC model’s response is entirely unpredictable. Without prior warning it may move off in any direction.
- Models have many parts which are naturally subject to wear, including gearbox components, motor, ball-links etc., and as a result it is absolutely essential to check and maintain the model regularly. It is standard practice with full-size model to give the machine a thorough “check” before every use, and this is equally important with your RC model. Constant checking gives you the opportunity to detect and correct any faults which may develop before they are serious enough to cause a crash.
- This model is designed to be operated by adults, although young people of 14 years or more may do so under the instruction and supervision of competent adults.
- The model features sharp points and edges which may cause injury.
- Controlling a RC model successfully is not easy; you will need persistence and determination to learn the skills, and good hand-eye coordination as a basic requirement.
- Please be sure to read right through these instructions before you start operation of the model. It is important that you clearly understand the complete procedure before you begin using.
- Don’t make modifi cations to the model’s construction by using parts other than those specifi cally recommended, unless you are certain of the quality and suitability of these other parts for the task.
- We have made every effort to point out to you the dangers inherent in operating this RC model. Since neither we, the manufacturer, nor the model shop that sold you the kit have any infl uence over the way you build and operate your model, we are obliged to disclaim any liability in connection with it.
LIABILITY EXCLUSION / COMPENSATION
As manufacturers, we at PARKFUN are not in a position to infl uence the way you build and set up the model, nor how you install, operate and maintain the radio control system components. For this reason we are obliged to deny all liability for loss, damage or costs which are incurred due to the incompetent or incorrect use and operation of our products, or which are connected with such operation in any way. Unless otherwise prescribed by binding law, the obligation of the PARKFUN company to pay compensation, regardless of the legal argument employed, is limited to the invoice value of that quantity of PARKFUN products which was immediately and directly involved in the event which caused the damage. This does not apply if PARKFUN is found to be subject to unlimited liability according to binding legal regulation on account of deliberate or gross negligence.

• Turn ON the transmitter fi rst and then the model
• Perform range check
AFTER RUNNING
• Disconnect the powerpack
• Turn OFF the model fi rst and then the transmitter
• Check for loose parts or damage
• Store the model in a ventilated dry area
• Do not expose the model to heat or direct sun light for a long period of time
BATTERY PACK:
• Do not overcharge
• Stop using when the power starts to fade
• Do not short-circuit
• Do not expose to fi re, heat
• Do not drill, cut, bend or crush
• Store discharged in secure area
• Only use appropriate charger
• Never leave the battery unattended while charging
• Only use the battery for this model (see required battery)

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Check this screw regularly. • Check that the propeller and the rudder move freely.
• This model is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
• This is a high speed model, which means that you must never operate it when there are persons or
animals in the water, otherwise there is a serious risk of causing injury.
• Never run the model in protected sites, animal or plant sanctuaries. Check with your local authority
that the stretch of water you wish to use is suitable for model boats.
• NEVER run the boat in salt water.
• Never run the model in the following conditions: rain, storm, strong wind, choppy water or strong
currents.
• Before running the model, check that the radio control system is working reliability and that all con-
nections are secure.
• Ensure that the frequency you use is not already in use by another pilot. Never run the model if you
are not certain that your frequency is free.
• Read and observe the instructions and recommendations provided by the manufacturers of your
radio control system and accessory components.
• When the powerpack is connected with the ESC, keep well clear of the area around the propeller.
• Do not exceed the recommended voltage of the powerpack. Increasing the voltage may cause the
motor and the speedcontroller to overheat and may be seriously damaged.
• Check that all the drive train components work smoothly and freely. Otherwise the motor and the
speedcontroller overheat and may be seriously damaged.
• Ensure that the servo is not mechanically obstructed at any point of his travel.
• Allow the motor and the ESC to cool down after each run. Do not touch them.
• Remove the powerpack from the model before transporting and storing it.If you operate the model
on river, remember that it could be washed away downstream if the powerpack fails.
• Check regularly that the boat is completely watertight, as it may sink if too much water can penetrate
the hull through the shaft or rudder openings.
• Check these screws regularly. • Apply some tape to prevent water entering the boat.

TRIMS ADJUSTMENT
To make small adjustments to compensate for unwanted infl uences or imperfections in the control system, you can use the trim levers next to and underneath the control sticks. These will offset the neutral position of the stick and will allow you to run the model without making (too much) control inputs.
P
OWER
Check if the controls move as indicated on the drawing. Correct the movement direction if necessary with the reverse switches on the bottom of the transmitter.
