1 WICHTIGE HINWEISE

1.1 Allgemein

Lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsan w eis u ng .. .

Lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung sowie die Gebrauchs­anweisungen des mitgelieferten Zubehörs vollständig durch.
Bewahren Sie sie zum späteren Nachschlagen auf. Bei
Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung können Verletzungen
oder Schäden am Produkt nicht ausgeschlossen werden.

1.2 Gestaltung von Sicherheitshinweisen

Sicherheitsrelevante Warnungen sind in dieser Gebrauchs­anweisung in Gefahrenstufen eingeteilt:

– Mit dem Signalwort WARNUNG sind Gefahren gekenn-

zeichnet, die ohne Vorsichtsmaßnahmen zu schweren
Verletzungen oder sogar zum Tod führen können.

– Mit dem Signalwort VORSICHT sind Gefahren gekenn-

zeichnet, die ohne Vorsichtsmaßnahmen zu leichten bis
mittelschweren Verletzungen oder zu Beeinträchtigungen der
Therapie führen können.

– Mit dem Signalwort HINWEIS sind allgemeine Vorsichts-

maßnahmen gekennzeichnet, die im Umgang mit dem
Produkt beachtet werden sollten, um Schäden am Produkt zu
vermeiden.

1.3 Umgang mit dem Kompressor

Der Kompressor ist ein elektrisches Gerät, das mit
Netzspannung betrieben wird. Er ist so konzipiert, dass keine
stromführenden Teile zugänglich sind. Bei nicht geeigneten
Umgebungsbedingungen bzw. einer Beschädigung des
Kompressors oder des Netzkabels kann dieser Schutz jedoch
nicht mehr vorhanden sein. Beachten Sie daher die folgenden
Hinweise, um einen Gerätedefekt und die damit verbundene
Gefahr durch Kontakt mit stromführenden Teilen (z.B. elektri
scher Schlag) zu vermeiden:

– Der Kompressor ist nicht spritzwassergeschützt. Schützen Sie

das Gerät und das Netzkabel vor Flüssigkeit und Nässe.
Fassen Sie das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder den Netzstecker
niemals mit feuchten Händen an. Das Gerät darf außerdem
nicht in feuchter Umgebung betrieben werden.

– Verwenden Sie zum Betrieb des Kompressors nur das PARI

Netzkabel.

– Lassen Sie den Kompressor während des Betriebes niemals

unbeaufsichtigt.

– Ziehen Sie aus Sicherheitsgründen unter folgenden

Umständen stets den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose:

- bei Störungen während des Betriebes

- vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege

- unmittelbar nach dem Gebrauch

– Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker und nicht am

Kabel aus der Steckdose.

– Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel niemals geknickt,

gequetscht oder eingeklemmt wird. Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel
nicht über scharfe Kanten.

– Halten Sie den Kompressor und das Netzkabel von heißen

Flächen (z.B. Herdplatte, Heizstrahler, offenes Feuer) fern.
Das Gehäuse des Kompressors oder die Isolierung des
Netzkabels könnten beschädigt werden.

– Halten Sie das Netzkabel von Haustieren (z.B. Nagetieren)

fern. Diese könnten die Isolierung des Netzkabels
beschädigen.

– Der Kompressor darf nicht in Betrieb genommen bzw. es muss

sofort der Netzstecker aus der Steckdose gezogen werden,
wenn der Kompressor oder das Netzkabel beschädigt ist oder
der Verdacht auf einen Defekt nach einem St urz oder Ähnli

chem besteht.

1.4 Therapie von Babys, Kindern und hilfsbedürftigen Personen

Babys, Kinder und hilfsbedürftige Personen dürfen nur unter
ständiger Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen inhalieren. Nur so ist eine
sichere und wirksame Therapie gewährleistet. Diese Personen
schätzen oftmals Gefährdungen (z.B. Strangulation mit dem
Netzkabel oder dem Anschlussschlauch) falsch ein, wodurch
eine Verletzungsgefahr bestehen kann.

Das Produkt enthält Kleinteile. Kleinteile können die Atemwege
blockieren und zu einer Erstickungsgefahr führen. Achten Sie
daher darauf, dass Sie den Kompressor, den V ernebler und das
Zubehör stets außer Reichweite von Babys und Kleinkindern
aufbewahren.

Der Kompressor ist ein elektrisch betriebenes Gerät. Babys,
Kleinkinder, Kinder und hilfsbedürftige Personen dürfen nur
unter ständiger Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen inhalieren. Nur auf
diese Weise wird eine sichere und effektive Therapie
gewährleistet.

Das Gerät sowie der Anschlussschlauch am Kompressoraus­gang können im Normalbetrieb sehr warm werden. Vermeiden
Sie daher insbesondere bei pflegebedürftigen Personen, dass
diese in direkten Hautkontakt mit dem Kompressor kommen. Bei
längerem Hautkontakt können Hautverbrennungen auftreten,
insbesondere bei Personen mit gestörter Temperatur
wahrnehmung.

2 PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG

2.1 Lieferumfang

Prüfen Sie, ob ...

Prüfen Sie, ob die zu Ihrem Kompressor gehörenden
Komponenten im Lieferumfang enthalten sind. Sollte etwas
fehlen, verständigen Sie umgehend den Händler, bei dem Sie
den PARI Kompressor erhalten haben.

2.2 Zweckbestimmung

Der Kompressor dient dazu, Druckluft für den Betrieb eines
PARI V erneblers zu erzeugen. Der Kompressor darf nur für P ARI
Vernebler verwendet werden. Er ist ausschließlich für die
Verwendung in Räumen bestimmt.

Eine zweckfremde Verwendung oder die Verwendung von

erneblern oder Zubehör von Fremdherstellern kann zu einer

Gerätes oder sogar zu Verletzungen führen.

2.4 Produktvarianten und -kombinationen

Den PARI BOY SX Kompressor gibt es in drei verschiedenen
Versionen:

– PARI JuniorBOY SX (Kompressorfarbe gelb)

inklusive LC SPRINT Junior Vernebler mit gelben
Düsenaufsatz und weicher Babymaske mit Babywinkel

– PARI TurboBOY SX (Kompress orf arbe bl au ) 

inklusive LC SPRINT Vernebler mit blauem Düsenaufsatz und
Kindermaske

– P ARI BOY SX (Kom pressorfarbe blau)

inklusive LC SPRINT Vernebler mit blauem Düsenaufsatz,
Kindermaske und PEP S-System. Zusätzlich wird noch ein
roter Düsenaufsatz mitgeliefert

Der Kompressor ist geeignet für den Betrieb mit folgenden
Verneblern:

– Alle Vernebler der PARI LC SPRINT Familie
– Alle Vernebler der PARI LC Familie

Den Verneblern liegt bei Erstausstattung und Nachkauf stets

eine separate Gebrauchsanweisung bei.

2.5 Lebensdauer

Der Kompressor hat eine zu erwartende durchschnittliche
Lebensdauer von:

– ca. 1.000 Betriebsstunden
– max. 5 bis 6 Jahre

3 INBETRIEBNAHME

3.1 Aufstellung

Der Raum, in dem ...

Der Raum, in dem der Kompressor betrieben wird, muss
bestimmte Voraussetzungen erfüllen [siehe: 6.5 Umgebungsbe­dingungen für den Betrieb]. Der Kompressor ist nicht für
Verwendung im Außenbereich bestimmt.

Beachten Sie beim Aufste llen ...

VORSICHT

Beachten Sie beim Aufstellen des Kompressors folgende
Hinweise, um eine Verletzungsgefahr oder eine
Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden:

– Stellen Sie den Kompressor auf einem festen, flachen,

staubfreien und trockenen Untergrund auf. Eine weiche
Unterlage wie z.B. ein Sofa, ein Bett oder eine Tischdecke ist
nicht geeignet, der Kompressor könnte herunterfallen.

– Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass es keine Stolperfalle

rstellt und dass sich niemand darin verfangen kann.

– Achten Sie darauf, dass Kinder den Kompressor nicht am

– Betreiben Sie den Kompressor nur in staubarmer Umgebung.

Beim Betrieb in

Fußboden kann sich vermehrt Staub im Inneren des
Gehäuses ablagern, wodurch die Therapie beeinträchtigt oder

Um eine Brandgefahr ...

WARNUNG

Um eine Brandgefahr auf Grund eines Kurzschlusses zu
vermeiden, beachten Sie beim Aufstellen des Kompressors
folgende Hinweise:

– Betreiben Sie den Kompressor nicht in der Nähe von entzünd-

lichen Gegenständen wie z.B. Vorhängen, Tischdecken oder
Papier.

– Betreiben Sie den Kompressor nicht in explosionsgefährdeten

chen bzw. in Gegenwart von brandfördernden Gasen

3.2 Vorbereitung

Überprüfen Sie vor jeder Anwendung das Gehäuse des
Kompressors, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker auf
Unversehrtheit. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die örtlich e
Netzspannung mit der Spannungsangabe auf dem T y penschild
des Kompressors übereinstimmt. Benutzen Sie den Kompressor
nur, wenn alle Bestandteile intakt sind. Der Kompressor darf
nicht in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn das Gerät oder das
Netzkabel beschädigt ist, oder wenn der Verdacht auf eine
Beschädigung (z.B. nach einem Sturz oder bei Geruch nach
verschmortem Kunststoff) besteht.

ist insbesondere der Fall bei pflegebedürftigen Patienten, die
zum Beispiel auf künstliche Ernährung oder auf Infusionen
angewiesen sind.

Flüssigkeiten können Strom leiten, wodurch die Gefahr eines
Stromschlags entsteht. Fassen Sie deshalb das Netzkabel

oder den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten oder nassen Händen
an.

3.3 Inhalation durchführen

Um eine Überhitzung des Kompressors zu vermeiden, decken
Sie das Gerät während des Betriebs nicht ab und achten Sie
darauf, dass die seitlichen Lüftungsschlitze frei sind. Eine
Abdeckung des Kompressors oder eine Verdeckung der
Lüftungsschlitze beeinträchtigt die Kühlung des Kompressors.

Führen Sie die Inhalation folgendermaßen durch:

• Ziehen Sie den Vernebler vor der
Behandlung aus der Halterung
heraus.

• Starten Sie den Kompressor mit
dem Ein/Aus-Schalter.

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass
Medikamentennebel (Aerosol)
erzeugt wird, bevor Sie mit der
Inhalation beginnen.

Bei einer Gerätebeschädigung ...

WARNUNG

Bei einer Gerätebeschädigung kann es zu Kontakt mit
stromführenden T eilen kommen, wodurch z.B. die Gefahr eines
Stromschlags bestehen kann. Schalten Sie deshalb sofort den
Kompressor aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose, wenn der Kompressor oder das Netzkabel
beschädigt ist oder der Verdacht auf eine Beschädigung besteht
(z.B. nach einem Sturz oder bei Geruch nach verschmortem
Kunststoff).

• Führen Sie die Inhalation wie in der Gebrauchsanweisung des
Verneblers beschrieben durch.

3.4 Inhalation beenden

• Schalten Sie den Kompressor aus.

• Setzen Sie den Vernebler wieder zurück in seine Halterung.

• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

4 WARTUNG

4.1 Reinigung des Kompressors

Flüssigkeiten können Strom leiten, wodurch die Gefahr eines
Stromschlags entsteht. Schalten Sie deshalb vor jeder

Reinigung den Kompressor aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdos e.

• Wischen Sie die Außenfläche des
Gehäuses mit einem sauberen,
feuchten Tuch ab.

Eingedrungene Flüssigk eiten können ...

HINWEIS
Eingedrungene Flüssigkeiten können einen Gerätedefekt

verursachen. Sprühen Sie deshalb keine Flüssigkeit auf den
Kompressor oder auf das Netzkabel.

Ist Flüssigkeit in ...

Ist Flüssigkeit in den Kompressor eingedrungen, darf das Gerät
auf keinen Fall mehr verwendet werden. Setzen Sie sich vor
einer erneuten Verwendung des Kompressors unbedingt mit
dem Technischen Service der PARI GmbH oder mit dem
PARI Service Center in Verbindung [siehe: 7.4 Kontakt].

Für die Reinigung ...

Für die Reinigung des Verneblers, des Anschlussschlauches
und des Zubehörs beachten Sie die Anweisungen in der
jeweiligen Gebrauchsanweisung.

4.2 Filterwechsel

Der Filter des Kompressors ...

Der Filter des Kompressors muss bei normalen Betriebs­bedingungen alle 200 Betriebsstunden, mindestens jedoch
einmal im Jahr ausgewechselt werden.

Überprüfen Sie darüber hinaus in regelmäßigen Abständen

der Filter feucht geworden sein, muss er ebenfalls gegen einen

HINWEIS

Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Luftfilter, die von PARI für den
Betrieb Ihres Kompressors vorgesehen sind, da sonst Ihr
Kompressor beschädigt werden könnte.

Zum Auswechseln des Filters gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

• Schrauben Sie den Filterhalter mit
einer passenden Münze aus Ihrem
Kompressor.

• Ziehen Sie den alten Filter vom Filterhalter und
stecken Sie den neuen Filter auf.

• Setzen Sie den Filterhalter zusammen mit dem
neuen Filter in Ihren Kompressor ein und
schrauben Sie ihn mit einer Münze fest.

4.3 Instandsetzung

Eine Instandsetzung des Kompressors darf nur durch den
Technischen Service der PARI GmbH oder eine von PARI
ausdrücklich dazu ermächtigte Service-Stelle erfolgen. Wird der
Kompressor von anderen Personen geöffnet oder manipuliert,
verfallen sämtliche Gewährleistungsansprüche. In diesen Fällen
übernimmt die PARI GmbH auch keine Haftung.

4.4 Aufbewahrung

• Trennen Sie das Netzkabel vom Kompressor.

• Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel
auf und klemmen Sie sie zur
Aufbewahrung unter den
Griff des Kompressors.

Durch Knicken kann ...

HINWEIS

Durch Knicken kann das Netzkabel beschädigt werden. Wickeln
Sie deshalb das Netzkabel nicht um den Kompressor.

Lagern Sie den Kompressor und das Zubehör geschützt vor
anhaltender direkter Sonneneinstrahlung.

Bewahren Sie den Kompr essor ...

Bewahren Sie den Kompressor immer vom Stromnetz getrennt
auf, da ans Stromnetz angesteckte elektrische Geräte eine
potenzielle Gefahrenquelle darstellen.

6.3 Angaben zur elektromagnetischen Verträglichkeit

Medizinische elektrische Geräte unterliegen hinsichtlich der
elektromagnetischen Verträglichkeit (EMV) besonderen
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen. Sie dürfen nur gemäß den EMV­Hinweisen installiert und in Betrieb genommen werden.

Tragbare und mobile Hochfrequenz-Kommunikations­einrichtungen können medizinische elektrische Geräte
beeinflussen. Die Verwendung von anderem Zubehör, anderen
Wandlern und Leitungen als den angegebenen, mit Ausnahme
der Wandler und Leitungen, die der Hersteller des medi
zinischen elektrischen Gerätes als Ersatzteile für interne
Komponenten verkauft, kann zu einer erhöhten Aussendung
oder einer reduzierten Störfestigkeit des Gerätes führen.

Das Gerät darf nicht unmittelbar neben oder mit anderen
Geräten gestapelt angeordnet werden. Wenn der Betrieb nahe
oder mit anderen Geräten gestapelt erforderlich ist, sollte das
medizinische elektrische Gerät beobachtet werden, um seinen
ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb in der benutzten Anordnung
sicherzustellen.

6.4 Empfohlene Schutzabstände

Empfohlene Schutzabstände zwischen tragbaren und mobilen
Hochfrequenz(HF)-Telekommunikationsgeräten und dem PARI
Kompressor:

Was wird von der Garantie erfasst?

Sollte ausnahmsweise ein Mangel auftreten, wird PARI nach
seiner Wahl das Gerät reparieren, austauschen oder den
Einkaufspreis des Produkts zurückerstatten. Der Austausch des
Geräts kann sowohl in das gleiche als auch ein mindestens
vergleichbar ausgestattetes Modell erfolgen. Der Austausch
oder die Reparatur des Geräts begründet keine neue Garantie.
Alle ausgetauschten Altgeräte oder Teile werden Eigentum von
PARI. Weitere Ansprüche sind ausgeschlossen. Dies gilt
insbesondere für jegliche Schadensersatzansprüche. Dieser
Haftungsausschluss findet keine Anwendung im Fall der
Verletzung des Lebens, des Körpers und der Gesundheit, bei
Vorsatz und grober Fahrlässigkeit, der Produkthaftung und bei
Verletzung wesentlicher Pflichten aus dem Garantievertrag.

– von durch PARI nicht autorisierten Personen Reparaturen,

Im Übrigen erstreckt sich die Garantie nicht auf Verschleißteile,

also Geräteteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind.

1 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1.1 General

Please read these instructions for use ...

Please read these instructions for use and the instructions for
use of the accessories supplied carefully and completely. Do not
discard, so you can consult them at a later date. If you fail to
comply with the instructions for use, injury or damage to the
device cannot be ruled out.

1.2 Structure of safety instructions

Safety-critical warnings are categorised according to hazard
levels in these instructions for use:

– The signal word WARNING is used to indicate hazards which,

without precautionary measures, can result in serious injury or
even death.

– The signal word CAUTION is used to indicate hazards which,

without precautionary measures, can result in minor to
moderate injury or impair treatment.

– The signal word NOTE is used to indicate general

precautionary measures which are to be observed to avoid
damaging the product during use.

1.3 Using the compressor

The compressor is an electrical device that is powered by supply
voltage. It has been designed so that no live parts are
accessible. However, if ambient conditions are unfavourable or
if the compressor or power cord is damaged, this protection may
no longer be assured. Therefore, please follow the instructions
below to avoid damage to the device and the associated danger
of contact with live parts (e.g., electric shock):

– The compressor is not splashproof. Protect the device and the

power cord from liquid and moisture. Never handle the device,
the power cord or the power plug with damp hands. In addi­tion, the device must not be operated in a damp environment.

– Only use the PARI power cord to operate the compressor.
– Never leave the compressor unattended while it is in use.
– For safety reasons, always disconnect the power plug from the

socket under the following circumstances:

- if a malfunction occurs during operation

- before cleaning and maintaining the device

- immediately after use

– Always pull the power plug, not the cable, to disconnect the

power cord from the socket.
– Make sure that the power cord is never kinked, pinched or

jammed. Do not pull the power cord over sharp edges.
– Keep the compressor and the power cord away from hot sur-

faces (e.g., stove top, electric fire, open fire). Direct heat may

damage the compressor housing or the power cord insulation.
– Keep the power cord away from domestic animals (e.g., ro-

dents). They may damage the power cord insulation.
– The compressor must not be operated and/or the power plug

must be unplugged from the socket immediately if the com-

pressor or the power cord is damaged, or if a fault is suspected

after the device has been dropped or suffered a similar shock.

1.4 Treatment of babies, children and anyone who requires assistance

Babies, children and anyone who requires assistance must be
supervised constantly by an adult during inhalation therapy. This
is the only way to ensure safe and effective treatment. Such per
sons often underestimate the hazards involved (e.g. strangula­tion with the power cord or the connection tubing), thus resulting
in a risk of injury.

The product contains small parts. Small parts can block the res­piratory tract and lead to a choking hazard. Therefore, make
sure that you always keep the compressor, the nebuliser and the
accessories out of the reach of babies and infants.

The compressor is an electrically powered device. Babies, in­fants, children, and anyone who requires assistance must be su­pervised constantly by an adult during inhalation therapy.
Otherwise, safe and effective treatment cannot be guaranteed.

The device and the connection tubing at the compressor outlet
can become very warm during normal operation. Therefore, par
ticularly when dealing with individuals who require special assis­tance, ensure that their skin does not come into contact with the
compressor. Prolonged contact may cause burns, particularly for
patients with impaired temperature perception.

3.2 Preparation

Check the compressor housing, the power cord and the power
plug for damage every time before using. Make sure that the
local supply voltage complies with the voltage data marked on
the compressor identification label. Only use the compressor if
all components are intact. The compressor must not be operated
if the device or the power cord is damaged, or if damage is
suspected (e.g., after it has fallen or if there is a smell of burning
plastic).

3.3 Performing the inhalation

To avoid overheating the compressor, never place a cover over
the device during operation, and ensure that the side ventilation
slits are not obstructed. If the compressor is covered or if the
ventilation slits are blocked, the compressor cannot be cooled
properly.

• Before starting the treatment, pull

4.2 Filter change

In normal operating conditions, ...

In normal operating conditions, the compressor filter must be
replaced after every 200 operating hours, but at least once a
year.

Also please check the filter at regular intervals (after every
10 inhalations). If it is soiled (grey or brown colour) or blocked,

lace it. The filter must also be replaced with a new one if it has

Only use air filters that are intended by PARI for use with your
compressor, otherwise your compressor might be damaged.

To replace the filter, proceed as follows:

• Unscrew the filter holder from your
compressor using a suitable coin.

• Pull the old filter out of the filter holder and fit the
new filter in its place.

• Reinsert the filter holder together with the new
filter in your compressor and screw it tight with
the coin.

4.3 Servicing

The compressor must only be serviced by the PARI GmbH
Technical Service department or a service center expressly
authorised by PARI. If the compressor is opened or manipulated
by anyone else, all claims under the warranty shall be void. In
these cases, PARI GmbH will also accept no liability.

4.4 Storage

• Disconnect the power cord from the compressor.

• Wind up the power cord and

6.3 Information about electromagnetic compatibility

Electrical medical equipment is subject to special precautionary
measures with regard to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Such equipment must only be installed and operated in
accordance with EMC instructions.

Portable and mobile high-frequency communication devices can
disrupt electrical medical equipment. Using accessories,
converters and power cords other than those specified, with the
exception of converters and power cords that the manufacturer
of the medical electrical device sells as spare parts for internal
components, can result in higher emission levels or lower the
resistance to interference of the device.

The device must not be placed directly beside or on top of other

7.2 Disposal

This product falls within the scope of the European Council
Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment

. Accordingly, this product must not be disposed of with
domestic waste. The disposal regulations prevailing in the
respective member countries must be observed (e.g., disposal
by local authorities or dealers). Materials recycling helps to
reduce the consumption of raw materials and protect the
environment.

7.3 Terms and conditions of warranty

PARI guarantees that your device, if used according to the
instructions, will be free from defects in material and workman­ship caused by the manufacturin
period indicated on the warranty certificate beginning on the date
of initial purchase. Claims under the warranty shall be subject to
a limitation period of 12 months. The warranty provided by PARI

pplies in addition to the warranty obligation of your dealer. Y our

are not limited by the warranty or any claim under the warranty.
The warranty certificate stamped by the dealer serves as your
proof of warranty and ownership.

What does the warranty cover?

If, exceptionally, a defect is discovered, P ARI will at its discretion
repair or replace the device, or refund the purchase price of the
product. If it is replaced, the replacement device may either be
the same model or a model that is at least comparably equipped.
Replacement or repair of the device shall not serve as the basis
for a new warranty. All replaced old devices or parts shall
become the property of PARI. Further claims are excluded. This
applies particularly for any claims for compensatory damages.
This disclaimer of warranty shall be ineffective in the event of
injury to life, limb or health, in cases of wilful malfeasance and
gross negligence, product liability and if subst antive obligations
under the warranty agreement are violated.

The warranty shall be cancelled if

– the device has been operated or used improperly with respect

to the descriptions in the instructions for use

– damage is present that is attributable to the effects of water,

fire, lightning, etc.

– the damage was caused by transporting the device incorrectly

or a falling impact
– the device has been misused or not cared for correctly
– the serial number on the device has been changed, removed,

or otherwise rendered illegible
– repairs, adaptations or modifications have been made to the

device by persons not authorised by PARI
Moreover, the warranty does not cover wearing parts, that is to

say device parts that are exposed to normal wear.

In the event of a complaint, please bring the entire device to your
specialist dealer or send it to us packed in the original box,
postage paid, together with the warranty certificate stamped by
the dealer.

The "warranty period" begins on the date of purchase.
