1 WICHTIGE HINWEISE

1.1 Allgemein

Lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung vollständig durch. Bewahren Sie sie zum späteren Nachschlagen auf. Bei Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung können Verletzungen oder Schäden am Produkt nicht ausgeschlossen werden.

Bei anhaltenden Beschwerden oder gesundheitlicher Verschlechterung unterbrechen Sie die Anwendung und kontaktieren Sie umgehend Ihren Arzt.

1.2 Informationen zur Gebrauchsanweisung

Gebrauchsanweisungen können Sie bei Bedarf bei der PARIGmbH bestellen [siehe:Kontakt, Seite16]. Für einzelne Produkte sind die Gebrauchsanweisungen sowohl in deutscher als auch in englischer Sprache im Internet abrufbar: www.pari.de/produkte (auf der jeweiligen Produktseite).

1.3 Gestaltung von Sicherheitshinweisen

Sicherheitsrelevante Warnungen sind in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung in Gefahrenstufen eingeteilt:

– Mit dem Signalwort WARNUNG sind Gefahren gekenn-

zeichnet, die ohne Vorsichtsmaßnahmen zu schweren Verletzungen oder sogar zum Tod führen können.

– Mit dem Signalwort VORSICHT sind Gefahren gekennzeich-

net, die ohne Vorsichtsmaßnahmen zu leichten bis mittelschweren Verletzungen oder zu Beeinträchtigungen der Therapie führen können.

– Mit dem Signalwort HINWEIS sind allgemeine Vorsichts-

maßnahmen gekennzeichnet, die im Umgang mit dem Produkt beachtet werden sollten, um Schäden am Produkt zu vermeiden.

1.4 Gegenanzeigen und Nebenwirkungen

Die PARI MONTESOL Nasendusche darf nicht eingesetzt werden:

– wenn die Nasenschleimhaut stark gereizt ist. – wenn sich in der Nase offene Wunden befinden. In diesem

Fall würde die Spülung die Blutung verstärken.

– wenn eine Schließung des Gaumensegels nicht möglich ist,

z.B. auf Grund einer Lähmung.

1.5 Anwendungshinweise

Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Spüllösungen, die zur Nasenspülung verwendet werden dürfen. Lesen Sie vor Anwendung der PARI MONTESOL Nasendusche die Gebrauchsinformation der Nasenspülung, die Sie verwenden möchten.

Das Produkt enthält Kleinteile. Kleinteile können die Atemwege blockieren und zu einer Erstickungsgefahr führen. Achten Sie daher darauf, dass Sie das Produkt stets außer Reichweite von Babys und Kleinkindern aufbewahren.

1.6 Hygiene

Beachten Sie folgende Hygienehinweise: – Verwenden Sie zur Nasenspülung nur eine gereinigte, des-

infizierte und getrocknete Nasendusche. Verunreinigungen und Restfeuchte führen zu Keimwachstum, wodurch eine erhöhte Infektionsgefahr besteht.

– Jede Nasendusche darf aus hygienischen Gründen nur von

einem einzigen Patienten verwendet werden.

– Waschen Sie sich vor jeder Benutzung und Reinigung

gründlich die Hände.

– Führen Sie die Reinigung und Trocknung unbedingt auch

vor der ersten Anwendung durch.

– Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen und Desinfizieren stets fri-

sches Leitungswasser in Trinkwasserqualität.

– Achten Sie auf ausreichende Trocknung aller Einzelteile

nach jeder Reinigung und Desinfektion.

– Bewahren Sie die Nasendusche nicht in feuchter Umgebung

oder zusammen mit feuchten Gegenständen auf.

2 PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG

2.1 Lieferumfang

Prüfen Sie, ob alle Teile Ihres PARI Produkts im Lieferumfang enthalten sind. Sollte etwas fehlen, verständigen Sie umgehend den Händler, von dem Sie das PARI Produkt erhalten haben.

2.2 Zweckbestimmung

Die PARIMONTESOL Nasendusche ist ein medizinisches Hilfsmittel zur Spülung der Nasenhaupthöhle. Durch die Anwendung der Nasendusche wird die Nasenschleimhaut befeuchtet und die Nasenhöhle gereinigt.

Die Nasendusche ist geeignet für Kinder ab ca. 3 Jahren und für Erwachsene.

Es dürfen nur für die Nasenspülung zugelassene Lösungen verwendet werden. Beachten Sie die Gebrauchsinformation der jeweiligen Nasenspülung.

Die Nasendusche dient zur Reinigung und Befeuchtung der Nasenhaupthöhle bei:

– häufig auftretendem Schnupfen – Neigung zu Erkältungskrankheiten – trockener Nase und festen Borken – starker Staub- und Schmutzbelastung – Pollenallergie – chronischen Entzündungen der Nase und der Nasenneben-

höhlen

– nach operativen Eingriffen im Bereich der Nase und Nasen-

nebenhöhlen (nur nach Rücksprache mit dem Arzt)

2.4 Lebensdauer

Tauschen Sie die Nasendusche nach spätestens 1,5 Jahren aus, da sich das Material des Produkts mit der Zeit verändern kann.

3 ANWENDUNG

3.1 Nasendusche vorbereiten

• Befestigen Sie das Ventil am Tank.

• Stecken Sie die Nasenolive auf das Winkelstück. Achten Sie darauf, dass der kleine Zapfen (a) des Winkelstücks in die Aussparung (b) der Nasenolive einrastet.

3.2 Nasendusche befüllen

Nachfolgend wird die Befüllung der Nasendusche bei Verwendung der PARI MONTESOL Nasenspülung beschrieben. Bei Verwendung einer anderen Nasenspülung befüllen Sie die Nasendusche entsprechend den Angaben in der jeweiligen Gebrauchsinformation.

• Stellen Sie die Nasendusche

auf das Ventil.

• Füllen Sie die Nasenspülung

in die Nasendusche. Entnehmen Sie die Dosierung der Gebrauchsinformation der verwendeten Nasenspülung.

• Füllen Sie die Nasendusche

bis zum unteren Rand des Schraubgewindes mit körperwarmem Trinkwasser.

VORSICHT

Um eine Gesundheitsgefahr durch keimhaltiges Wasser zu vermeiden, muss das verwendete Wasser Trinkwasserqualität aufweisen und immer frisch sein. In besonderen Krankheitsfällen wie z.B. cystischer Fibrose oder unmittelbar nach operativen Eingriffen kann die Verwendung von abgekochtem oder sterilem Wasser notwendig sein.

• Schrauben Sie das Winkel-

stück fest auf den Tank.

• Drehen Sie die Nasenolive in die STOP-Position, damit noch keine Flüssigkeit auslaufen kann (der Strich am Winkelstück zeigt auf „STOP“).

• Schwenken Sie die Nasendusche leicht hin und her, damit sich die Nasenspülung mit dem Trinkwasser vermischt.

3.3 Nasenspülung durchführen

• Nehmen Sie zur Spülung des linken Nasenlochs die Nasendusche in die linke, zur Spülung des rechten in die rechte Hand. Legen Sie dabei den Zeigefinger auf das Ventil.

• Drehen Sie mit der freien Hand die Nasenolive in die Spül-Position (der Strich am Winkelstück zeigt auf das Dreieck).

• Beugen Sie den Kopf leicht

über das Waschbecken und öffnen Sie den Mund weit, damit das Gaumensegel geschlossen wird.

• Atmen Sie ruhig durch den

Mund ein und aus.

• Setzen Sie die Nasenolive an

das Nasenloch so an, dass dieses dicht verschlossen ist.

• Neigen Sie den Kopf leicht

zur Seite (in Richtung des aktuell nicht behandelten Nasenlochs).

• Drücken Sie mit dem Zeigefinger leicht auf das Ventil der

Nasendusche. Die Nasenspülung beginnt. Die Spüllösung fließt zum einen Nasenloch hinein, durch die Nasenhöhle hindurch und zum anderen Nasenloch wieder hinaus.

• Unterbrechen Sie ggf. den Spülvorgang, indem Sie den Zei-

gefinger vom Ventil nehmen.

Nach Ende der Spülung verbleibt noch eine geringe Restmenge der Lösung in der Nasendusche.

3.4 Tipps

Was tun, wenn Spülflüssigkeit in die Augen gelangt ist und Reizungen verursacht?

Spülen Sie die Augen mit reichlich klarem Wasser aus.

Was tun, wenn die Spülflüssigkeit in den Rachen läuft?

Geringe Mengen der Nasenspüllösung können immer in den Rachen fließen. Wenn Sie den Kopf während der Spülung

leicht nach vorne gebeugt und schräg halten, fließt diese kleine Menge von selbst aus dem Mund heraus.

Wenn größere Mengen in den Rachen gelangen, ist entweder der Mund nicht weit genug geöffnet (und somit das Gaumensegel nicht geschlossen), oder der Nasengang auf der anderen Seite ist so verstopft, dass die Spüllösung nicht zurückfließen kann. Im ersteren Fall öffnen Sie den Mund so weit wie möglich und verändern Sie eventuell leicht die Kopfhaltung. Im letzteren Fall brechen Sie die Spülung ab und beginnen Sie diese durch das andere Nasenloch.

4 REINIGUNG UND DESINFEKTION

Die PARI MONTESOL Nasendusche muss nach jeder Anwendung gereinigt und mindestens einmal täglich desinfiziert werden.

4.1 Vorbereitung

Zerlegen Sie die Nasendusche in ihre Einzelteile:

• Schrauben Sie das Winkelstück vom Tank.

• Ziehen Sie die Nasenolive vom Winkelstück ab.

• Entfernen Sie das Ventil vom Tank.

4.2 Reinigung

•

Reinigen Sie alle Einzelteile ca. 5 Minuten lang gründlich in warmem Leitungswasser und Spülmittel. Verwenden Sie bei grober Verschmutzung ggf. eine saubere Bürste (diese Bürste darf ausschließlich für diesen Zweck benutzt werden).

• Spülen Sie alle Teile gründlich unter fließend warmem Wasser ab.

• Beschleunigen Sie das Abtropfen des Wassers durch Ausschütteln aller Teile.

4.3 Desinfektion

Desinfizieren Sie alle Einzelteile im Anschluss an die Reinigung (nur gereinigte Teile können wirksam desinfiziert werden).

VORSICHT

Eine feuchte Umgebung begünstigt Keimwachstum. Entnehmen Sie daher alle Teile unmittelbar nach Beendigung der Desinfektion aus dem Kochtopf bzw. aus dem Desinfektionsgerät. Trocknen Sie die Teile. Eine vollständige Trocknung reduziert die Infektionsgefahr.

In kochendem Wasser

• Legen Sie alle Einzelteile mind. 5 Minuten in kochendes

Wasser. Verwenden Sie einen sauberen Kochtopf und frisches Trinkwasser.

Bei besonders hartem Wasser kann sich auf den Kunststoffteilen Kalk als milchiger Belag ablagern. Dies kann durch Verwendung von enthärtetem Wasser verhindert werden.

HINWEIS

Kunststoff schmilzt bei Berührung mit dem heißen Topfboden. Achten Sie deshalb auf ausreichenden Wasserstand im Topf. Damit vermeiden Sie eine Beschädigung der Einzel-

teile.

Mit einem handelsüblichen, thermischen Desinfektionsgerät für Babyflaschen (keine Mikrowelle)

Verwenden Sie für eine wirksame Desinfektion ein thermisches Desinfektionsgerät mit einer Laufzeit von mindestens 6 Minuten. Für die Durchführung der Desinfektion, die Dauer des Desinfektionsvorgangs sowie die erforderliche Wassermenge beachten Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung des verwendeten Desinfektionsgerätes.

VORSICHT

Eine unzureichende Desinfektion begünstigt Keimwachstum und erhöht damit die Infektionsgefahr. Die Desinfektion ist erst wirksam durchgeführt, wenn sich das Desinfektionsgerät automatisch abgeschaltet hat bzw. die in der Gebrauchsanweisung des Desinfektionsgeräts angegebene MindestDesinfektionszeit erreicht ist. Schalten Sie das Gerät daher nicht vorzeitig ab. Achten Sie außerdem auf dessen Sauberkeit und überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Funktionsfähigkeit.

4.4 Visuelle Kontrolle

Überprüfen Sie alle Produktbestandteile nach jeder Reinigung und Desinfektion. Sollten Einzelteile beschädigt sein, muss das komplette Produkt ersetzt werden.

4.5 Trocknung und Aufbewahrung

• Beschleunigen Sie das Abtropfen des Wassers durch Aus-

schütteln aller Teile.

• Befestigen Sie das Ventil am Tank.

• Stecken Sie das Winkelstück

in die Aussparung am Ventil.

• Legen Sie die Nasenolive in

die Öffnung des Winkelstücks.

• Hängen Sie die Nasendu-

sche an der Schlaufe des Ventils zum Trocknen auf.

Alle Produktbestandteile können über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden, sofern es keine anderen landesspezifischen Entsorgungsregeln gibt.

1 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1.1 General

Please read these instructions for use carefully and completely. Do not discard, so you can consult them at a later date. If you fail to comply with the instructions for use, injury or damage to the device cannot be ruled out.

If symptoms persist or if your condition worsens, discontinue the application and contact your doctor immediately.

1.2 Information about the instructions for use

1.3 Structure of safety instructions

Safety-critical warnings are categorised according to hazard levels in these instructions for use:

– The signal word WARNING is used to indicate hazards

which, without precautionary measures, can result in serious injury or even death.

– The signal word CAUTION is used to indicate hazards

which, without precautionary measures, can result in minor to moderate injury or impair treatment.

– The signal word NOTICE is used to indicate general pre-

cautionary measures which are to be observed to avoid damaging the product during use.

1.4 Contraindications and side effects

The PARIMONTESOL nasal douche must not be used: – if the mucous membranes of the nose are severely irritated. – if you have open wounds in your nose. In this case, flushing

would cause heavier bleeding.

– if you are unable to close your soft palate, e.g., because of

palatine paralysis.

1.5 Instructions for application

Only use rinse solutions that are approved for use as nasal rinses. Before using the PARIMONTESOL nasal douche, read the instructions for use of the rinse solution you intend to use.

The product contains small parts. Small parts can block the airways and lead to a choking hazard. Therefore, make sure that you always keep this product out of the reach of babies and infants.

1.6 Hygiene

Observe the following hygiene instructions: – Always use a clean, disinfected and dried nasal douche for

nasal rinses. Contamination and residual moisture encourage the growth of bacteria, so increasing the risk of infection.

– Each nasal douche must only be used by a single patient for

hygiene reasons.

– Before every use and cleaning, wash your hands

thoroughly.

– Make absolutely sure you also carry out cleaning and drying

before using the device for the first time.

– For cleaning and disinfection, always use fresh tap water of

drinking water quality.

– Make sure all components are dried properly whenever you

have performed cleaning or disinfection.

– Do not keep the nasal douche in a damp environment or to-

gether with damp objects.

2 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

2.1 Components

Check that all components of your PARI product are contained in your package. If anything is missing, please notify the dealer from whom you purchased the PARI product immediately.

2.2 Intended purpose

The PARIMONTESOL nasal douche is a medical aid designed for flushing the nasal sinuses. Using the nasal douche moistens the mucous membranes of the nose and cleans the nasal sinuses.

The nasal douche is suitable for use by children aged 3 and older as well as by adults.

Only solutions that have been approved for use as nasal rinses may be used. Follow the instructions for use of the respective nasal rinse.

The nasal douche is used to clean and moisten the nasal sinuses in cases of:

– frequently occurring nasal congestion – predisposition to cold infections – dry nose and dried mucus – very dusty or contaminated atmospheres – pollen allergy – chronic inflammations of the nose and nasal sinuses – following surgical procedures in the area of the nose and

nasal cavities (only if your doctor agrees)

2.3 Material information

2.4 Operating life

Replace the nasal douche after eighteen months at the latest as changes can occur in the material of the product over time.

3 APPLICATION

3.1 Prepare nasal douche

• Attach the valve to the reservoir.

• Place the nasal insert on the bend. Make sure that the small pin(a) on the bend engages in the hole(b) in the nasal insert.

3.2 Fill the nasal douche

In the following, filling the nasal douche for use in conjunction with PARIMONTESOL nasal rinse is described. If you are using a different nasal rinse, fill the nasal douche as instructed in the respective instructions for use.

• Place the nasal douche on

the valve.

• Fill the nasal douche with the

nasal rinse. Instructions regarding proper dosage are included in the instructions for use of the nasal rinse you are using.

• Fill the nasal douche with wa-

ter at body temperature up to the bottom edge of the screw thread.

CAUTION

In order to avoid danger to health from bacteria-infected water, the water used must be of drinking water quality and

must always be fresh. In the case of particular diseases, such as cystic fibrosis or immediately following surgical procedures, it may be necessary to use boiled or sterile water.

• Screw the bend onto the

reservoir tightly.

• Twist the nasal insert to the STOP position, to ensure that no liquid can escape yet (the line on the bend points to "STOP").

• Shake the nasal douche back and forth so that the nasal rinse is mixed with the drinking water.

3.3 Perform the nasal rinse

• To rinse the left nostril, hold the nasal douche in your left hand, hold it in your right hand for the right nostril. Rest your index finger on the valve.

• With your free hand, twist the nasal insert to the rinse position (the line on the bend will point to the triangle).

• Bend your head slightly over

the basin and open your mouth wide so that your soft palate closes.

• Continue breathing deeply

and calmly through your nose.

• Place the nasal insert against

your nostril so as to block it completely.

• Tilt your head slightly to one

side (in the direction of the nostril that is not currently being treated).

• Press your index finger gently against the nasal douche

valve. The nasal rinse will begin. The rinse solution flows in one nostril, through the nasal sinuses and back out of the other nostril.

• If necessary, you can interrupt the treatment simply by tak-

ing your index finger off of the valve.

At the end of rinsing, there will still be a small quantity of the solution left in the bottom of the nasal douche.

3.4 Tips

What should I do if I get rinsing fluid in my eyes and it causes irritation?

Rinse your eyes with abundant fresh water.

What should I do if the rinse solution runs into my throat?

It is almost impossible to prevent small quantities of nasal rinse solution from running down the throat. If you tilt your head

slightly forwards and to one side while rinsing, this small quantity will flow quite naturally out of your mouth.

If larger quantities pass into the throat, either your mouth is not open wide enough (so your soft palate is not closed), or the nasal passage on the other side is so congested that the rinse solution cannot flow back. In the first case, remember to open your mouth as wide as possible, and if necessary shift the position of your head slightly. In the second case, stop rinsing and begin by rinsing the other nostril.

4 CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

The PARI MONTESOL nasal douche must be cleaned after each use and disinfected at least once a day.

4.1 Preparation

Dismantle the nasal douche into its individual parts:

• Unscrew the bend from the reservoir.

• Pull the nasal insert off from the bend.

• Remove the valve from the reservoir.

4.2 Cleaning

• Thoroughly clean all components in warm tap water and dishwashing liquid for about 5minutes. If necessary, use a clean brush to remove loose dirt (the brush must be reserved exclusively for this purpose).

• Rinse all parts thoroughly under warm running water.

• You can remove excess water more quickly by shaking all parts.

4.3 Disinfection

Disinfect the components immediately after cleaning (only parts that have been cleaned can be disinfected effectively).

CAUTION

A damp environment may encourage the growth of bacteria. Therefore, remove all parts from the pot or disinfector as soon as disinfection has finished. Dry the parts. The risk of infection is reduced when the parts are dried completely.

In boiling water

• Place all the individual parts in boiling water for at least

5minutes. Use a clean pot and fresh drinking water.

If your water is very hard, scale may be deposited on the plastic parts as a milky coating. This can be prevented by using softened water.

NOTICE

Plastic will melt if it comes into contact with the hot base of the pot. Therefore, make sure there is plenty of water in the pot. This way you will avoid damaging the components.

Using a standard thermal disinfector for baby bottles (not a microwave oven)

For effective disinfection, use a disinfector with a runtime of at least 6minutes. Regarding disinfection, the duration of the disinfection procedure and the quantity of water required for this, follow the instructions for use of the disinfector you are using.

CAUTION

Inadequate disinfection encourages the growth of bacteria and thus increases the risk of infection. Thorough disinfection has not been completed until the disinfector automatically switches itself off, or the minimum disinfection time specified in the instructions for use of the disinfector has elapsed. Therefore, do not switch the device off prematurely. Also make sure that the disinfector is kept clean and regularly check that it is in good working order.

4.4 Visual inspection

Inspect all product components after each cleaning and disinfection. If any components have been damaged, the whole product must be replaced.

4.5 Drying and storage

• You can remove excess water more quickly by shaking all parts.

• Attach the valve to the reservoir.

• Insert the knee in the hole in the valve.

• Insert the nasal insert in the aperture in the knee.

• Hang the nasal douche up by the strap on the valve to dry.

1 ADVERTENCIAS IMPORTANTES

1.1 Generalidades

Lea detenidamente y en su totalidad estas instrucciones de uso. Consérvelas para poder consultarlas cuando sea necesario. Si no se respetan las instrucciones de uso existe el riesgo de provocar lesiones a las personas o daños en el producto.

En caso de molestias persistentes o de empeoramiento del estado de salud, suspenda la aplicación y acuda inmediatamente al médico.

1.2 Información sobre las instrucciones de uso

En caso necesario puede solicitar las instrucciones de uso a PARIGmbH [véase:Contacto, página44]. En el caso de algunos productos se pueden consultar las instrucciones de uso en alemán e inglés entrando en www.pari.de/en/products (en la página del producto correspondiente).

1.3 Explicación de las advertencias de

seguridad

Las advertencias de seguridad de estas instrucciones de uso se clasifican en varios niveles de peligro:

– La palabra ADVERTENCIA advierte sobre peligros que pue-

den provocar graves lesiones e incluso la muerte si no se toman las medidas de precaución adecuadas.

– La palabra ATENCIÓN advierte sobre peligros que pueden

provocar lesiones de grado leve o medio, o bien la ineficacia de la terapia, si no se toman las medidas de precaución adecuadas.

1.4 Contraindicaciones y efectos adversos

PARI MONTESOL ducha nasal no se puede utilizar en los casos siguientes:

– Si la mucosa nasal está muy irritada. – En presencia de heridas en las fosas nasales. En tal caso el

lavado intensificaría la hemorragia.

– Si no se puede sellar el velo del paladar, por ejemplo a cau-

sa de una parálisis.

1.5 Advertencias relativas al uso del producto

Utilice sólo soluciones permitidas para el lavado nasal. Antes de utilizar PARI MONTESOL ducha nasal lea las instrucciones de uso de la solución nasal que vaya a utilizar.

El producto contiene piezas pequeñas. Las piezas pequeñas pueden obturar las vías respiratorias y suponer peligro de asfixia. Asegúrese de que el producto permanece fuera del alcance de bebés y niños pequeños.

1.6 Higiene

Siga estas instrucciones de higiene: – Para el lavado nasal utilice siempre un dispositivo de ducha

nasal limpio, desinfectado y seco. La suciedad y la humedad residual pueden favorecer la proliferación de gérmenes con el consiguiente riesgo de infección.

– Por razones higiénicas la ducha nasal debe ser utilizada

siempre por un solo paciente. – Antes de usar o limpiar el producto lávese bien las manos. – También es imprescindible limpiar y secar el producto antes

de utilizarlo por primera vez. – Para la limpieza y la desinfección utilice siempre agua co-

rriente de calidad sanitaria.

– Asegúrese siempre de secar todos los componentes por

completo tras su limpieza y desinfección.

– No guarde nunca la ducha nasal en un ambiente húmedo ni

junto a objetos húmedos.

2 DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PRODUCTO

2.1 Componentes

Compruebe que le han sido suministrados todos los componentes de su producto PARI. Si falta algún componente póngase en contacto inmediatamente con el distribuidor que le ha suministrado el producto PARI.

2.2 Finalidad de uso

La ducha nasal PARIMONTESOL es un producto sanitario para el lavado de la cavidad nasal. El uso de la ducha nasal permite humedecer la mucosa interna y limpiar las fosas nasales.

La ducha nasal es adecuada para niños a partir de 3 años y para adultos.

Utilice solo soluciones permitidas para el lavado nasal. Siga las instrucciones de la solución para lavado nasal que vaya a utilizar.

La ducha nasal se utiliza para limpiar y humedecer la cavidad nasal en los casos siguientes:

– Rinitis de repetición – Propensión a los resfriados – Sequedad nasal y presencia de costras – Ambientes muy contaminados – Alergia al polen – Inflamación crónica de las fosas nasales y de los senos pa-

ranasales – Después de una intervención quirúrgica en las fosas nasa-

les y en los senos paranasales (sólo después de consultar

con un médico)

3 MODO DE USO

3.1 Preparación de la ducha nasal

• Fije la válvula al recipiente.

• Inserte la oliva nasal en el codo. Asegúrese de que la patilla(a) del codo encaja en la muesca(b) de la oliva nasal.

3.2 Llenado de la ducha nasal

A continuación se explica cómo llenar la ducha nasal con PARIMONTESOL solución nasal. Si utiliza otro producto para el lavado nasal, siga las instrucciones adjuntas a dicho producto para llenar la ducha nasal.

• Gire la ducha nasal y apóyela

sobre la parte de la válvula.

• Introduzca la solución nasal

en la ducha nasal. Consulte la dosis en las instrucciones de la solución nasal utilizada.

• Llene el recipiente de la du-

cha nasal hasta el borde inferior de la rosca con agua potable a temperatura corporal.

ATENCIÓN

Para evitar posibles riesgos para la salud por agua contaminada, utilice siempre agua de calidad sanitaria recién

salida del grifo. En pacientes especiales con enfermedades como la fibrosis quística o que acaban de someterse a una intervención quirúrgica puede ser necesario utilizar agua hervida o esterilizada.

• Enrosque firmemente el codo

al recipiente.

• Gire la oliva nasal hasta la posición STOP para evitar de momento la salida de líquido (la raya del codo está alineada con la marca "STOP").

• Agite la ducha nasal para que la solución de lavado se mezcle con el agua potable.

3.3 Realización del lavado nasal

• Para el lavado de la fosa nasal izquierda sujete la ducha nasal con la mano izquierda y para el lavado de la fosa nasal derecha, sujétela con la mano derecha. Ponga el dedo índice sobre la válvula.

•

Con la mano libre gire la oliva nasal y póngala en posición de lavado (la raya del codo está alineada con el triángulo).

• Incline un poco la cabeza so-

bre el lavabo y abra bien la boca para que el velo del paladar quede cerrado.

• Respire tranquilamente a tra-

vés de la boca.

• Coloque la oliva nasal sellan-

do el orificio nasal.

• Incline la cabeza levemente

hacia el lado de la fosa nasal que no está tratando.

• Presione ligeramente la válvula de la ducha nasal con el de-

do índice. Se inicia el lavado nasal. La solución se introduce por el orificio nasal, atraviesa la fosa nasal y vuelve a salir por el otro orificio nasal.

• Si desea interrumpir el lavado, separe el dedo índice de la

válvula.

Una vez finalizado el lavado queda una pequeña cantidad de la solución en la ducha nasal.

3.4 Consejos

¿Qué hago si el líquido de lavado entra en contacto con los ojos y los irrita?

Lávese bien los ojos con abundante agua limpia.

¿Qué hago si el líquido de lavado pasa a la garganta?

Es habitual que una pequeña cantidad de líquido de lavado llegue a la garganta. Si durante el lavado mantiene la cabeza ligeramente inclinada hacia delante y hacia un lado el líquido volverá a salir por sí solo por la boca.

Si entra una cantidad mayor de líquido en la garganta significa que no abre la boca lo suficiente (y por consiguiente no cierra el velo del paladar) o bien que el meato nasal está tan congestionado que impide la salida de la solución de lavado. En el primer caso abra la boca lo máximo posible y si es necesario modifique ligeramente la posición de la cabeza. En el segundo caso, interrumpa el lavado nasal y vuelva a empezar por el otro orificio nasal.

4 LIMPIEZA Y DESINFECCIÓN

Limpie siempre PARI MONTESOL ducha nasal después de su uso y desinféctela al menos una vez al día.

4.1 Preparación

Desmonte todos los componentes de la ducha nasal:

• Desenrosque el codo del recipiente.

• Separe la oliva nasal del codo.

• Retire la válvula del recipiente.

4.2 Limpieza

• Lave bien todos los componentes durante unos 5 minutos con agua corriente caliente y detergente. Si es necesario utilice un cepillo limpio para la suciedad más difícil (destine dicho cepillo exclusivamente a este fin).

• Aclare bien todos los componentes con agua corriente caliente.

• Sacuda todos los componentes para eliminar la mayor cantidad de agua posible.

4.3 Desinfección

Desinfecte todos los componentes después de haberlos limpiado (la desinfección sólo es eficaz si los componentes están limpios).

ATENCIÓN

Los ambientes húmedos favorecen la proliferación de gérmenes. Por esa razón, debe retirar todos los componentes de la olla o del aparato de desinfección inmediatamente después de finalizar la desinfección. Seque los componentes. El secado completo reduce el peligro de infección.

En agua hirviendo

• Sumerja todos los componentes sueltos en agua hirviendo

durante al menos 5minutos. Utilice una olla limpia y agua corriente de calidad sanitaria.

Si el agua es muy dura, la cal se puede depositar en los componentes de plástico en forma de capa lechosa. Esto se puede evitar utilizando agua descalcificada.

AVISO

Los plásticos se funden al entrar en contacto con el fondo caliente de la olla. Asegúrese por tanto de que hay suficiente agua en la olla. De esta forma evitará que se dañen los

componentes.

Con un aparato de desinfección térmica de biberones convencional (no en el horno microondas)

Para la desinfección eficaz, utilice un aparato de desinfección térmica con una duración del proceso mínima de 6 minutos. Consulte las instrucciones de uso del aparato de desinfección para realizar la desinfección, conocer la duración del proceso de desinfección y la cantidad de agua que debe utilizar.

ATENCIÓN

Una desinfección insuficiente favorece la proliferación de gérmenes, aumentando el peligro de infección. La desinfección solo se habrá realizado eficazmente cuando el aparato de desinfección se haya apagado, o bien haya pasado el tiempo de desinfección mínimo indicado en las instrucciones de uso del aparato. Por esta razón, no apague el aparato antes de tiempo. Asimismo, manténgalo siempre limpio y compruebe regularmente que funciona correctamente.

4.4 Control visual

Revise siempre todos los componentes del producto después de haberlos limpiado y desinfectado. Si detecta daños en algún componente deberá cambiar el producto completo.

4.5 Secado y almacenamiento

• Sacuda todos los componentes para eliminar la mayor can-

tidad de agua posible.

• Fije la válvula al recipiente.

• Coloque el codo en el aloja-

miento de la válvula.

• Coloque la oliva nasal en la

• Para secar la ducha nasal

cuélguela por la anilla de la válvula.

1.4 Contre-indications et effets secondaires

La douche nasale PARI MONTESOL ne doit pas être utilisée: – Lorsque la muqueuse nasale est fortement irritée. – Lorsque des plaies ouvertes existent dans le nez. Dans ce

cas, le rinçage amplifierait le saignement.

– Lorsque le voile du palais ne peut pas être fermé, par ex. en

raison d'une paralysie.

1.5 Consignes d'utilisation

Utilisez exclusivement des solutions de rinçage qui peuvent être utilisées pour le rinçage nasal. Avant d'utiliser la douche nasale PARI MONTESOL, lisez la notice d'utilisation du rinçage nasal, que vous souhaitez utiliser.

Le produit contient de petites pièces. Les petites pièces peuvent bloquer les voies respiratoires et entraîner un risque d'asphyxie. Veillez à toujours garder le produit hors de portée des bébés et des jeunes enfants.

1.6 Hygiène

Respectez les consignes d'hygiène suivantes : – Utilisez exclusivement pour le rinçage nasal une douche na-

sale nettoyée, désinfectée et séchée. Les salissures et l'humidité résiduelle entraînent une croissance de germes, avec en conséquence une augmentation du risque d'infection.

– Chaque douche nasale ne peut être utilisée que par un seul

patient pour des raisons d'hygiène.

– Avant chaque utilisation et nettoyage, lavez-vous les mains

soigneusement.

– Réalisez le nettoyage et le séchage absolument avant la

première utilisation.

– Pour le nettoyage et la désinfection, utilisez toujours de

l'eau du robinet fraîche avec la qualité d'eau potable.

– Veillez à un séchage suffisant de toutes les pièces après le

– Ne conservez pas la douche nasale dans un environnement

humide ou avec des objets humides.

2 DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT

2.1 Étendue de livraison

2.2 Affectation

La douche nasale PARIMONTESOL est une aide médicale pour rincer la cavité nasale principale. L'utilisation de la douche nasale permet d'humidifier la muqueuse nasale et de nettoyer la cavité nasale.

La douche nasale convient aux enfants à partir de 3 ans et aux adultes.

Seules les solutions homologuées pour le rinçage nasal peuvent être utilisées. Respectez la notice d'utilisation du rinçage nasal correspondant.

La douche nasale sert au nettoyage et à l'humidification de la cavité nasale principale en cas de:

– rhumes fréquents – tendance aux refroidissements – nez sec et croûtes – forte pollution par poussières et salissures – allergie au pollen – inflammations chroniques du nez et des sinus – après des opérations du nez et des sinus (uniquement

après consultation du médecin)

3 UTILISATION

3.1 Préparation de la douche nasale

• Fixez la valve sur le réservoir.

• Montez l'embout nasal sur le coude. Veillez à ce que le petit tenon(a) du coude s'enclenche dans la partie creuse(b) de l'embout nasal.

3.2 Remplissage de la douche nasale

Vous trouverez ci-après la description du remplissage de la douche nasale lors de l'utilisation du rinçage nasal PARIMONTESOL. Si vous utilisez un autre rinçage nasal, remplissez la douche nasale conformément aux indications de la notice d'utilisation correspondante.

• Placez la douche nasale sur

la valve.

• Versez le rinçage nasal dans

la douche nasale. Relevez le dosage dans la notice d'utilisation du rinçage nasal utilisé.

• Remplissez la douche nasale

jusqu'au bord inférieur du filetage à visser avec de l'eau potable à température corporelle.

ATTENTION

Afin d'éviter un risque pour la santé en danger en raison d'une eau infestée par des germes, l'eau utilisée doit être

de qualité d'eau potable et être toujours fraîche. Dans certains cas de maladies, comme en cas de fibrose kystique, ou juste après des opérations, il peut être nécessaire d'utiliser de l'eau bouillie ou stérile.

• Vissez le coude sur le réser-

voir à fond.

• Tournez l'embout nasal sur la position d'arrêt pour empêcher la sortie de liquide (le trait sur le coude est en face du «STOP»).

• Agitez légèrement la douche nasale pour que le rinçage nasal se mélange à l'eau potable.

3.3 Réalisation du rinçage nasal

• Pour rincer la narine gauche, prenez la douche nasale dans la main gauche, pour rincer la narine droite, dans la main droite. Placez l'index sur la valve.

• Tournez avec la main libre l'embout nasal sur la position de rinçage (le trait sur le coude est en face du triangle).

• Inclinez la tête légèrement

au-dessus du lavabo et ouvrez grand la bouche pour que le voile du palais soit fermé.

• Inspirez et expirez calme-

ment à travers la bouche.

• Placez l'embout nasal dans la

narine de sorte que cette dernière soit entièrement obturée.

• Inclinez légèrement la tête

sur le côté (en direction de la narine non traitée).

• Appuyez avec l'index légèrement sur la valve de la douche

nasale. Le rinçage nasal commence. La solution de rinçage entre par une narine, passe à travers les fosses nasales et ressort par l'autre narine.

• Interrompez éventuellement l'opération de rinçage en reti-

rant l'index de la valve.

À la fin du rinçage, une faible quantité résiduelle de la solution se trouve encore dans la douche nasale.

3.4 Astuces

Que faire si le liquide de rinçage parvient dans les yeux et entraîne des irritations?

Rincez les yeux avec une quantité suffisante d'eau claire.

Que faire si le liquide de rinçage passe dans la gorge?

De faibles quantités de la solution de rinçage nasal peuvent toujours passer dans le pharynx. Si vous penchez la tête légè-

rement vers l'avant pendant le rinçage et la maintenez inclinée, cette petite quantité sort d'elle-même de la bouche.

Si de plus grandes quantités passent dans le pharynx, soit la bouche n'est pas suffisamment ouverte (le voile du palais n'est donc pas fermé), soit le passage nasal de l'autre côté est obturé de sorte que la solution de rinçage ne peut pas sortir de ce côté. Dans le premier cas, pensez à ouvrir grand la bouche et modifiez éventuellement légèrement la position de la tête. Dans le dernier cas, interrompez le rinçage et recommencez-le à travers l'autre narine.

4 NETTOYAGE ET DÉSINFECTION

La douche nasale PARIMONTESOL doit être nettoyée après chaque utilisation et être désinfectée au minimum une fois par jour.

4.1 Préparation

Démontez toutes les pièces de la douche nasale:

• Dévissez le coude du réservoir.

• Retirez l'embout nasal du coude.

• Retirez la valve du réservoir.

4.2 Nettoyage

• Nettoyez soigneusement toutes les pièces pendant 5minutes environ dans de l'eau chaude du robinet avec du produit de vaisselle. En cas de salissure importante, utilisez éventuellement une brosse propre (cette brosse ne peut être utilisée exclusivement qu'à cette fin).

• Rincez toutes les pièces soigneusement sous l'eau courante chaude.

• Vous pouvez accélérer le séchage en secouant toutes les pièces pour faire partir l'eau rapidement.

4.3 Désinfection

Désinfectez toutes les pièces à l'issue du nettoyage (seules les pièces nettoyées peuvent être désinfectées efficacement).

ATTENTION

Un environnement humide favorise la formation de germes. En conséquence, retirez les différentes pièces et les accessoires dès la fin de la désinfection de la casserole ou de l'appareil de désinfection. Séchez les pièces. Un séchage complet réduit le risque d'infection.

Dans l'eau bouillante

• Placez toutes les pièces démontées dans l’eau en ébullition

durant 5minutes au minimum. Utilisez une casserole propre et de l'eau potable fraîche.

Avec une eau particulièrement dure, du calcaire peut se déposer sur les pièces du nébuliseur et former un dépôt laiteux. Cela peut être évité en utilisant de l'eau adoucie.

REMARQUE

Le plastique fond lorsqu'il est contact avec le fond chaud de la casserole. Veillez à avoir un niveau d'eau suffisant dans la casserole. Vous évitez en conséquence d'endommager les

différentes pièces.

Avec un appareil de désinfection thermique en usage dans le commerce pour les biberons (pas de micro-ondes)

Pour une désinfection efficace, utilisez un appareil de désinfection thermique pendant 6 minutes au minimum. Pour réaliser la désinfection, il faut connaître la durée de l'opération de désinfection et la quantité d'eau nécessaire, respectez absolument la notice d'utilisation de l'appareil de désinfection utilisé.

ATTENTION

Une désinfection insuffisante favorise la croissance de germes et augmente ainsi le risque d'infections. La désinfection est réalisée efficacement uniquement si l'appareil de désinfection s'est coupé automatiquement ou si la durée minimale de désinfection indiquée dans la notice d'utilisation de l'appareil de désinfection est atteinte. Ne coupez en conséquence jamais l'appareil de manière anticipée. Veillez à sa propreté et contrôlez régulièrement sa capacité à fonctionner.

4.4 Contrôle visuel

Contrôlez tous les éléments du produit après chaque nettoyage et désinfection. Si certaines pièces étaient endommagées, le produit complet doit être remplacé.

4.5 Séchage et conservation

• Vous pouvez accélérer le séchage en secouant toutes les pièces pour faire partir l'eau rapidement.

• Fixez la valve sur le réservoir.

• Montez le coude dans la partie creuse sur la valve.

• Placez l'embout nasal dans l'ouverture du coude.

• Pour le séchage, suspendez la douche nasale sur la boucle de la valve.

1.2 Informazioni sulle istruzioni per l'uso

1.4 Controindicazioni ed effetti collaterali

La doccia nasale PARI MONTESOL non deve essere utilizzata nei seguenti casi:

– In presenza di mucose nasali molto irritate. – In presenza di ferite aperte nel naso. In questo caso l'irriga-

zione farebbe aumentare l'emorragia.

– Quando non è possibile chiudere il palato molle come, ad

esempio, a causa di una paralisi.

1.5 Istruzioni per l'uso

Utilizzare esclusivamente soluzioni di lavaggio idonee per doccia nasale. Prima di utilizzare la doccia nasale PARI MONTESOL, leggere le istruzioni per l'uso della soluzione per sciacqui nasali che si desidera usare.

Il prodotto contiene piccole parti. Le piccole parti, se ingoiate, potrebbero bloccare le vie respiratorie e causare un rischio di soffocamento. Pertanto, assicurarsi di tenere il prodotto fuori dalla portata di neonati e bambini piccoli.

1.6 Pulizia

Osservare le seguenti indicazioni igieniche: – per il risciacquo nasale utilizzare solo una doccia nasale pu-

lita, disinfettata e asciutta. Le impurità e l'umidità residua favoriscono la proliferazione di germi e batteri, aumentando così il rischio di infezione.

– per motivi igienici ogni doccia nasale deve essere utilizzata

da un unico paziente; – prima di ogni utilizzo, lavarsi e pulire a fondo le mani; – procedere alla pulizia e all'asciugatura anche prima del pri-

mo utilizzo; – per la pulizia e la disinfezione, utilizzare sempre acqua di ru-

binetto corrente (calda) che sia potabile;

– dopo ogni pulizia e disinfezione assicurarsi che ogni singolo

componente sia completamente asciutto;

– la doccia nasale non deve essere conservata in ambienti

umidi né insieme a oggetti umidi.

2 DESCRIZIONE DEL PRODOTTO

2.1 Confezione

Si prega di accertarsi che tutti i componenti del prodotto PARI siano inclusi nella confezione. Qualora mancassero dei componenti, si prega di informare immediatamente il rivenditore presso il quale è stato acquistato il prodotto PARI.

2.2 Finalità del prodotto

La doccia nasale PARIMONTESOL è un dispositivo medico per la pulizia della cavità nasale principale. Tramite l'utilizzo della doccia nasale, la mucosa e la cavità nasale vengono pulite e idratate.

La doccia nasale è idonea per gli adulti e per i bambini a partire da 3 anni di età.

È necessario usare esclusivamente soluzioni consentite per il risciacquo nasale. Osservare le istruzioni per l'uso del prodotto per risciacquo nasale utilizzato.

La doccia nasale consente la pulizia e l'idratazione della cavità nasale principale nei seguenti casi:

– raffreddori frequenti – propensione alle malattie da raffreddamento – naso secco e secrezioni nasali adese – importante esposizione a polvere e sporcizia – allergia ai pollini – infiammazioni croniche del naso e dei seni nasali – dopo interventi chirurgici nell'area del naso e dei seni nasali

(solo dietro consiglio del proprio medico)

2.4 Durata

Sostituire la doccia nasale al massimo dopo 18 mesi, poiché con il tempo il materiale del prodotto può alterarsi.

3 UTILIZZO

3.1 Preparazione della doccia nasale

• Applicare la valvola al serbatoio.

• Inserire l'oliva nasale sull'elemento angolare. Assicurarsi che il piccolo perno(a) dell'elemento angolare si innesti nell'alloggiamento(b) dell'oliva nasale.

3.2 Riempimento della doccia nasale

Di seguito viene descritta la procedura di riempimento della doccia nasale con il prodotto per risciacquo nasale PARIMONTESOL. Se si utilizza un diverso prodotto per risciacquo nasale, riempire la doccia nasale seguendo le indicazioni nelle relative istruzioni per l'uso.

• Posizionare la doccia nasale

sulla valvola.

• Versare il prodotto per ri-

sciacquo nasale nella doccia nasale. Per il dosaggio corretto, consultare le istruzioni per l'uso del prodotto per risciacquo nasale utilizzato.

• Riempire la doccia nasale di

acqua potabile a temperatura corporea fino al bordo inferiore della filettatura.

ATTENZIONE

Per evitare un rischio per la salute causato da acqua infetta, è necessario usare un'acqua che presenti le qualità

dell'acqua potabile e che sia sempre fresca. In presenza di malattie particolari come, ad esempio, la fibrosi cistica, oppure subito dopo interventi chirurgici può essere necessario utilizzare acqua bollita o sterile.

• Avvitare saldamente l'ele-

mento angolare al serbatoio.

• Ruotare l'oliva nasale nella posizione STOP per impedire la fuoriuscita di liquidi (la lineetta sull'elemento angolare indica "STOP").

• Agitare leggermente la doccia nasale per miscelare il prodotto per risciacquo nasale con l'acqua potabile.

3.3 Esecuzione del risciacquo nasale

• Per risciacquare la narice sinistra, tenere la doccia nasale nella mano sinistra; per risciacquare la narice destra, tenerla nella mano desta. Appoggiare l'indice sulla valvola.

• Con la mano libera ruotare l'oliva nasale in posizione di pulizia (la lineetta sull'elemento angolare indica il triangolo).

• Inclinare leggermente la testa

sul lavandino e aprire completamente la bocca, in modo che il palato molle si chiuda.

• Inspirare ed espirare lenta-

mente con la bocca.

• Inserire l'oliva nasale nella

narice in modo che questa venga ben chiusa.

• Inclinare leggermente la testa

di lato (in direzione della narice non sottoposta al trattamento).

• Con il dito indice premere leggermente la valvola sulla doc-

cia nasale. Ha inizio il risciacquo nasale. La soluzione di lavaggio entra in una narice, passa attraverso la cavità nasale e fuoriesce dall'altra narice.

• Per interrompere eventualmente la procedura di pulizia, ri-

muovere l'indice della valvola.

Al termine della pulizia, nella doccia nasale resta ancora una quantità minima di soluzione residua.

3.4 Suggerimenti

Cosa fare se il liquido di pulizia entra negli occhi e causa irritazioni?

Sciacquare gli occhi con abbondante acqua pulita.

Cosa fare se il liquido di pulizia entra in gola?

Una piccola quantità di soluzione per sciacqui nasali può sempre andare in gola. Se si mantiene la testa leggermente inclinata in avanti e di lato durante la sessione di pulizia, questa piccola quantità esce automaticamente dalla bocca.

Se in gola penetrano quantità maggiori, può darsi che la bocca non sia abbastanza aperta (pertanto il palato molle non è chiuso) oppure la fossa nasale dall'altra parte è così intasata che la soluzione di lavaggio non riesce ad attraversarla. Nel primo caso, aprire la bocca il più possibile ed eventualmente modificare leggermente la posizione della testa. Nel secondo caso, interrompere la sessione di pulizia e iniziarla dall'altra narice.

4 PULIZIA E DISINFEZIONE

Pulire la doccia nasale PARI MONTESOL dopo ogni utilizzo e disinfettarla almeno una volta al giorno.

4.1 Preparazione

Smontare la doccia nasale nei suoi componenti:

• Svitare l'elemento angolare dal serbatoio.

• Estrarre l'oliva nasale dall'elemento angolare.

• Rimuovere la valvola dal serbatoio.

4.2 Pulizia

• Pulire a fondo tutti i componenti per circa 5minuti utilizzando acqua di rubinetto calda e detersivo. In presenza di sporco resistente utilizzare eventualmente una spazzola pulita, che dovrà essere impiegata esclusivamente per questo scopo.

• Risciacquare a fondo tutti i componenti utilizzando acqua corrente calda.

• Per accelerare lo sgocciolamento dell'acqua, scuotere tutti i componenti.

4.3 Disinfezione

Dopo la pulizia, disinfettare tutti i componenti (è possibile disinfettare efficacemente solo dei componenti puliti).

ATTENZIONE

Un ambiente umido favorisce la proliferazione di germi e batteri. Pertanto, al termine della procedura di disinfezione rimuovere tutti i componenti dalla pentola o dall'apparecchio per la disinfezione. Asciugare tutti i componenti. Un'asciugatura completa riduce il rischio di infezioni.

In acqua bollente

• Posizionare tutti i componenti in acqua bollente lasciandoli

bollire per almeno 5minuti. Utilizzare una pentola pulita e acqua potabile.

Se il grado di durezza dell'acqua è piuttosto elevato, è possibile che sulle parti in plastica si depositi uno strato biancastro di calcare. È possibile evitare il problema con l'utilizzo di acqua addolcita.

NOTA

La plastica si scioglie a contatto con il fondo bollente della pentola. Fare pertanto attenzione al livello di acqua della pentola. In questo modo si eviteranno danni ai componenti.

Con un apparecchio per la disinfezione termica dei biberon disponibile in commercio (senza microonde)

Per una disinfezione efficace, utilizzare un apparecchio per disinfezione termica e azionarlo per almeno 6 minuti. Per l'esecuzione della disinfezione, la durata della procedura e la quantità di acqua necessaria, attenersi alle istruzioni per l'uso dell'apparecchio per disinfezione utilizzato.

ATTENZIONE

Una disinfezione non sufficiente favorisce la proliferazione di germi e batteri e aumenta in tal modo il rischio di infezioni. La disinfezione è efficace solo se l'apparecchio si è spento automaticamente oppure è stato raggiunto il tempo minimo di disinfezione indicato nelle istruzioni per l'uso dell'apparecchio per disinfezione. Pertanto, non spegnere l'apparecchio anticipatamente. Inoltre, assicurarsi che sia pulito e verificarne regolarmente il funzionamento.

4.4 Controllo visivo

Esaminare tutti i componenti del prodotto dopo ogni pulizia e disinfezione. Se uno o più componenti risultassero danneggiati, è necessario sostituire l'intero prodotto.

4.5 Asciugatura e conservazione

• Per accelerare il processo di sgocciolamento, scuotere tutti i componenti.

• Applicare la valvola al serbatoio.

• Inserire l'elemento angolare nell'alloggiamento sulla valvola.

• Appoggiare l'oliva nasale nell'apertura dell'elemento angolare.

• Appendere la doccia nasale per il cappio della valvola per asciugarla.

1.1 Algemeen

Lees deze gebruiksaanwijzing volledig door. Bewaar deze zo dat u haar later nog eens kunt naslaan. Als de gebruiksaanwijzing niet in acht wordt genomen, kan letsel of schade aan het product niet worden uitgesloten.

Bij aanhoudende klachten of verslechtering van de gezondheid dient u het gebruik te onderbreken en onmiddellijk contact op te nemen met uw arts.

1.2 Informatie over de gebruiksaanwijzing

1.4 Contra-indicaties en bijwerkingen

De PARI MONTESOL neusdouche mag niet worden gebruikt: – wanneer het neusslijmvlies sterk geïrriteerd is. – wanneer er in de neus open wonden zitten. In dat geval zou

het spoelen tot extra bloeden leiden.

– wanneer het niet mogelijk is het zacht verhemelte te sluiten,

bijv. als gevolg van een verlamming.

1.5 Aanwijzingen voor gebruik

Gebruik uitsluitend spoeloplossingen die voor de neusspoeling mogen worden gebruikt. Lees vóór gebruik van de PARIMONTESOL neusdouche de gebruiksaanwijzing van de neusspoeling die u wilt gebruiken.

Het product bevat kleine onderdelen. Kleine onderdelen kunnen de luchtwegen blokkeren en tot verstikkingsgevaar leiden. Let er daarom op dat u het product steeds buiten bereik van baby's en peuters bewaart.

1.6 Hygiëne

Neem de volgende aanwijzingen aangaande de hygiene in acht:

– Gebruik voor de neusspoeling alleen een gereinigde, gedes-

infecteerde en gedroogde neusdouche. Verontreinigingen en restvocht leiden tot de groei van kiemen, waardoor er een verhoogd infectiegevaar bestaat.

– Elke neusdouche mag om hygiënische redenen maar door

één patiënt worden gebruikt. – Was vóór elk gebruik en elke reiniging grondig uw handen. – Voer de reiniging en het drogen beslist ook vóór het eerste

gebruik uit. – Gebruik voor het reinigen en desinfecteren steeds vers lei-

dingwater van drinkwaterkwaliteit.

– Let er na elke reiniging en desinfectie op dat alle onderdelen

voldoende drogen.

– Berg de neusdouche niet op in een vochtige omgeving of

samen met vochtige voorwerpen.

2 PRODUCTBESCHRIJVING

2.1 Levering

Controleer of alle onderdelen van uw PARI product bij de levering aanwezig zijn. Indien er iets ontbreekt, neem dan onmiddellijk contact op met de distributeur van wie u het PARI product hebt gekocht.

2.2 Gebruiksdoel

De PARIMONTESOL neusdouche is een medisch hulpmiddel voor het spoelen van de hoofdholte van de neus. Door het gebruik van de neusdouche wordt het neusslijmvlies bevochtigd en wordt de neusholte gereinigd.

De neusdouche is geschikt voor kinderen vanaf ca.3jaar en voor volwassenen.

Er mogen alleen oplossingen worden gebruikt die voor de neusspoeling zijn toegestaan. Neem de gebruiksinformatie van de betreffende neusspoeling in acht.

De neusdouche dient voor de reiniging en bevochtiging van de hoofdholte van de neus bij:

– dikwijls optredend snotteren – neiging tot verkoudheidsverschijnselen – droge neus of harde korsten – sterke belasting met stof en vuil – pollenallergie – chronische ontstekingen van de neus en de neusbijholten – na operatieve ingrepen bij neus en neusbijholten (alleen na

overleg met de arts)

3 GEBRUIK

3.1 Neusdouche voorbereiden

• Bevestig het ventiel aan de tank.

• Steek het neusinsteekstuk op het hoekstuk. Let erop dat het pennetje(a) van het hoekstuk vastklikt in de uitsparing(b) van het neusinsteekstuk.

3.2 Neusdouche vullen

Hieronder wordt het vullen van de neusdouche bij gebruik van de PARIMONTESOL neusspoeling beschreven. Vul de neusdouche bij gebruik van een andere neusspoeling volgens de voorschrifen in de bijbehorende gebruiksaanwijzing.

• Plaats de neusdouche op het

ventiel.

• Doe de neusspoeling in de

neusdouche. Volg voor de dosering de gebruiksaanwijzing van de gebruikte neusspoeling.

• Vul de neusdouche tot de on-

derrand van het schroefdraad met drinkwater dat op lichaamstemperatuur is.

VOORZICHTIG

Om een gezondheidsrisico door met kiemen besmet water te voorkomen moet het gebruikte water van drinkwater-

kwaliteit en altijd vers zijn. Bij bijzondere aandoeningen, bijvoorbeeld cystische fibrose, of onmiddellijk na een heelkundige ingreep kan het vereist zijn gekookt of steriel water te gebruiken.

• Schroef het hoekstuk vast op

de tank.

• Draai het neusinsteekstuk in de STOP-positie, zodat er geen vloeistof meer kan uit lopen (de streep op het hoekstuk wijst naar "STOP").

• Draai de neusdouche licht heen en weer om de neusspoeling met het drinkwater te vermengen.

3.3 Neusspoeling uitvoeren

• Houd voor de spoeling van het linker neusgat de neusdouche in de linkerhand en houd voor de spoeling van het rechter neusgat de neusdouche in de rechterhand. Leg de wijsvinger daarbij op het ventiel.

• Draai met de vrije hand het neusinsteekstuk in de spoelpositie (de streep op het hoekstuk wijst naar de driehoek).

• Houd uw hoofd iets over de

wastafel gebogen en doe uw mond ver open, zodat het zacht verhemelte wordt gesloten.

• Adem rustig door de mond in

en uit.

• Breng het neusinsteekstuk zo

op het neusgat aan dat dit volledig is afgesloten.

• Buig uw hoofd iets opzij (in

de richting van het neusgat dat nu geen behandeling ondergaat).

• Druk met uw wijsvinger licht op het ventiel van de neusdou-

che. De neusspoeling begint. De spoeloplossing stroomt via het ene neusgat naar binnen, stroomt door de neusholte en komt bij het andere neusgat weer naar buiten.

• Onderbreek het spoelen zo nodig door de wijsvinger van het

ventiel te halen.

Na afloop van de spoeling blijft nog een geringe resthoeveelheid van de oplossing in de neusdouche zitten.

3.4 Tips

Wat te doen wanneer er spoelvloeistof in de ogen is gekomen en dit irritaties veroorzaakt?

Spoel de ogen uit met royaal schoon water.

Wat te doen wanneer de spoelvloeistof in de keelholte loopt?

Er kunnen altijd geringe hoeveelheden neusspoeloplossing in de keelholte lopen. Wanneer u uw hoofd tijdens het spoelen

licht voorover gebogen en schuin houdt, loopt deze kleine hoeveelheid vanzelf uit de mond weg.

Als een grotere hoeveelheid in de keelholte komt, is ofwel de mond niet ver genoeg geopend (en daarmee het zacht verhemelte niet gesloten), of is de andere neusgang zodanig verstopt dat de spoeloplossing er niet door weg kan stromen. In het eerste geval dient u uw mond zo ver mogelijk open te sperren en houd u uw hoofd zo nodig in een iets andere stand. In het tweede geval dient u het spoelen af te breken en het spoelen via het andere neusgat te beginnen.

4 REINIGING EN DESINFECTIE

De PARI MONTESOL neusdouche moet na elk gebruik worden gereinigd en minstens eenmaal per dag worden gedesinfecteerd.

4.1 Voorbereiding

Demonteer de neusdouche:

• Schroef het hoekstuk van de tank af.

• Trek het neusinsteekstuk van het hoekstuk af.

• Haal het ventiel van de tank af.

4.2 Reiniging

• Reinig alle onderdelen ca.5minuten lang grondig in warm leidingwater en afwasmiddel. Gebruik bij grove vervuiling indien nodig een schone borstel (deze borstel mag uitsluitend voor dit doel worden gebruikt).

• Spoel alle delen grondig af onder stromend warm water.

• Versnel het afdruipen van het water door met de onderdelen te schudden.

4.3 Desinfectie

Desinfecteer alle onderdelen direct na de reiniging (alleen gereinigde onderdelen kunnen effectief worden gedesinfecteerd).

VOORZICHTIG

Een vochtige omgeving bevordert de groei van kiemen. Haal alle onderdelen daarom onmiddellijk na afloop van de desinfectie uit de kookpan of uit het desinfectieapparaat. Droog de onderdelen. Door ze volledig te laten drogen verkleint u het infectiegevaar.

In kokend water

• Leg alle onderdelen minstens 5minuten in kokend water.

Gebruik een schone kookpan en vers drinkwater.

Bij bijzonder hard water kan zich op de kunststofonderdelen kalk afzetten als een melkachtige laag. Dit kan worden voorkomen door het gebruik van onthard water.

AANWIJZING

Kunststof smelt bij aanraking met de hete bodem van de pan. Zorg daarom voor een voldoende hoeveelheid water in de pan. Daarmee voorkomt u beschadiging van de onder- delen.

Met een gangbaar thermisch desinfectieapparaat voor babyflessen (geen magnetron)

Gebruik voor een effectieve desinfectie een thermisch desinfectieapparaat met een werkingstijd van minstens 6 minuten. Voor de uitvoering van de desinfectie, voor de duur van het desinfectieproces en voor de vereiste waterhoeveelheid dient u de gebruiksaanwijzing van het gebruikte desinfectieapparaat in acht te nemen.

VOORZICHTIG

Een onvoldoende desinfectie bevordert de groei van kiemen en verhoogt daarmee het infectiegevaar. De desinfectie is pas effectief uitgevoerd wanneer het desinfectieapparaat zichzelf automatisch heeft uitgeschakeld, respectievelijk wanneer de in de gebruiksaanwijzing van het desinfectieapparaat aangegeven minimale desinfectietijd is bereikt. Schakel het apparaat daarom niet voortijdig uit. Zorg er bovendien voor dat het apparaat schoon is en controleer regelmatig of het goed werkt.

4.4 Visuele controle

Controleer alle onderdelen van het product na elke reiniging en desinfectie. Indien onderdelen beschadigd zijn, moet het complete product worden vervangen.

4.5 Drogen en opbergen

• Versnel het afdruipen van het water door met de onderdelen te schudden.

• Bevestig het ventiel aan de tank.

• Steek het hoekstuk in de uitsparing van het ventiel.

• Plaats het neusinsteekstuk in de opening van het hoekstuk.

• Laat de neusdouche aan de lus van het ventiel drogen.

2.2 Przeznaczenie

Irygator do intensywnego oczyszczania nosa PARIMONTESOL jest pomocniczym urządzeniem medycznym służącym do płukania jamy nosowej. Zastosowanie irygatora do intensywnego oczyszczania nosa powoduje nawilżenie błony śluzowej nosa i oczyszczenie jamy nosowej.

Irygator do intensywnego oczyszczania nosa przeznaczony jest do użytku u dzieci powyżej około trzeciego roku życia i dorosłych.

Stosować można wyłącznie płyny, które przeznaczone są do płukania jamy nosowej. Należy przeczytać ulotkę informacyjną dotyczącą danego płynu do płukania jamy nosowej.

W przypadku zastosowania innego płynu do płukania jamy nosowej irygator do intensywnego oczyszczania nosa należy napełniać zgodnie z instrukcjami zawartymi w ulotce informacyjnej tego płynu.

• Umieścić irygator do intensywnego oczyszczania nosa na zaworze.

• Napełnić irygator do intensywnego oczyszczania nosa płynem do płukania jamy nosowej. Należy przestrzegać dawkowania podanego w ulotce informacyjnej stosowanego płynu do płukania jamy nosowej.

• Napełnić irygator do intensywnego oczyszczania nosa ciepłą wodą pitną do dolnej granicy gwintu.

UWAGA

Aby uniknąć zagrożenia dla zdrowia spowodowanego znajdującymi się w wodzie drobnoustrojami, należy za-

• Lekko pochylić głowę nad umywalką i otworzyć szeroko usta, aby zacisnąć podniebienie miękkie.

• Spokojnie oddychać przez usta.

• Włożyć gruszkę do nosa wnozdrze wtaki sposób, aby je szczelnie zatkać.

• Obrócić głowę lekko w bok (w kierunku nozdrza, które w danym momencie nie jest poddawane zabiegowi).

• Delikatnie nacisnąć palcem wskazującym zawór irygatora do intensywnego oczyszczania nosa. Rozpoczyna się płukanie jamy nosowej. Roztwór płuczący napływa przez jedno nozdrze, przepływa przez jamę nosową, a następnie wypływa przez drugie nozdrze.

• W razie potrzeby można przerwać proces płukania, zwalniając ucisk palca wskazującego z zaworu.

Po zakończeniu płukania w irygatorze do intensywnego płukania nosa pozostaje jeszcze niewielka ilość roztworu.

3.4 Wskazówki

Jak postępować, jeśli płyn płuczący dostanie się do oczu i spowoduje podrażnienie?

Przepłukać oczy dużą ilością czystej wody.

Jak postępować, jeśli płyn płuczący dostanie się do gardła?

Niewielkie ilości roztworu do płukania jamy nosowej mogą w normalnym przypadku dostawać się do gardła. Jeśli podczas płukania trzyma się głowę pod kątem, lekko pochyloną do przodu, ta niewielka ilość płynu samoczynnie wypływa z jamy ustnej.

Jeśli do gardła dostają się większe ilości płynu, to albo usta nie są wystarczająco szeroko otwarte (i przez to podniebienie miękkie nie jest zaciśnięte), albo przewód nosowy po drugiej stronie jest zatkany i roztwór płuczący nie może wypływać z powrotem. W pierwszym przypadku należy otworzyć usta tak szeroko, jak to możliwe, i ewentualnie ostrożnie zmienić pozycję głowy. W drugim przypadku należy przerwać płukanie i wznowić je przez drugie nozdrze.

4 CZYSZCZENIE IDEZYNFEKCJA

Po każdym zastosowaniu irygator do intensywnego oczyszczania nosaPARI MONTESOL należy wyczyścić ico najmniej raz dziennie zdezynfekować.

4.1 Czynności przygotowawcze

Rozłożyć irygator do intensywnego oczyszczania nosa na części:

• Odkręcić ustnik kątowy od pojemnika.

• Ściągnąć gruszkę do nosa z ustnika kątowego.

• Zdjąć zawór z pojemnika.

4.2 Czyszczenie

• Wszystkie części zestawu należy dokładnie czyścić przez ok.5minut wciepłej wodzie zkranu zdodatkiem płynu do mycia naczyń. Wprzypadku większych zabrudzeń można użyć czystej szczoteczki (którą należy potem stosować tylko do tego celu).

• Dokładnie wypłukać wszystkie części podciepłą bieżącą wodą.

• Przyspieszyć wysychanie przez wytrząśnięcie wody zposzczególnych części.

4.3 Dezynfekcja

Po wyczyszczeniu zdezynfekować wszystkie części (skutecznie zdezynfekować można tylko wyczyszczone części).

UWAGA

Wilgotne otoczenie sprzyja rozwojowi drobnoustrojów. Ztego powodu wszystkie części zestawu należy wyjąć zgarnka lub dezynfektora natychmiast pozakończeniu dezynfekcji. Wysuszyć części. Gruntowne osuszenie zmniejsza niebezpie-

czeństwo zakażenia.

Wewrzącej wodzie

• Umieścić wszystkie części naconajmniej 5minut we wrzą-

cej wodzie. Do dezynfekcji należy używać czystego garnka iświeżej wody pitnej.

W przypadku wyjątkowo twardej wody na elementach z tworzywa sztucznego może odkładać się kamień widoczny wpostaci mlecznego nalotu. Można temu zapobiec przez stosowanie zmiękczonej wody.

WSKAZÓWKA

Tworzywa sztuczne, zktórych wykonano części zestawu, topią się wkontakcie zgorącym dnem garnka. Ztego względu należy zadbać owystarczającą ilość wody wgarnku. Pozwoli to uniknąć uszkodzenia części zestawu.

Przy użyciu dostępnego na rynku dezynfektora termicznego dobutelek dlaniemowląt (nie dezynfekować wkuchenkach mikrofalowych)

W celu osiągnięcia skutecznej dezynfekcji należy zastosować dezynfektor termiczny, którego cykl pracy trwa przynajmniej 6minut. Należy przestrzegać zaleceń podanych w instrukcji obsługi stosowanego dezynfektora dotyczących sposobu przeprowadzania dezynfekcji, czasu jej trwania oraz odpowiedniej ilości użytej do tego celu wody.

UWAGA

Nieskuteczna dezynfekcja sprzyja rozwojowi drobnoustrojów i zwiększa przez to ryzyko zakażenia. Dezynfekcja może być uznana za skuteczną dopiero wtedy, gdy dezynfektor wyłączył się automatycznie lub upłynął minimalny czas dezynfekcji podany w instrukcji obsługi dezynfektora. Dlatego nie należy przedwcześnie wyłączać urządzenia. Poza tym należy pilnować jego czystości i regularnie kontrolować jego sprawność.

4.4 Kontrola wzrokowa

Po każdym czyszczeniu i dezynfekcji należy sprawdzić wszystkie części produktu. Jeśli któraś z części jest uszkodzona, należy wymienić cały produkt.

4.5 Suszenie iprzechowywanie

• Przyspieszyć wysychanie przez wytrząśnięcie wody zposzczególnych części.
