3100 T1 FRONT PANEL EMULATION SOFTWARE PACKAGE

SOFTWARE VERSION 2.0

The Version 2.0, 3100 T1 Front Panel Emulation software contained in this
package can be used with all standalone 3150, 3160, 3164, and 3165 units.

The 3100 Front Panel Emulation software can also be used with the following
carrier-mounted circuit card combinations:

 Any combination of 3151-B1, 3151-B2, 3161-B1, or 3161-B2 circuit cards

with Software Version 01.00.xx installed in all of the circuit cards.

 Any combination of 3151-B2, 3151-B3, 3161-B2, or 3161-B3 circuit cards

with Software Version 03.00.xx installed in all of the circuit cards.

The 3100 Front Panel Emulation Software cannot be used with the following
carrier-mounted circuit card combination:

 Any combination of 3151-B1, 3151-B2, 3151-B3, 3161-B1, 3161-B2, or

3161-B3 circuit cards with Software Version 01.00.xx installed in some of
the circuit cards and Software Version 03.00.xx installed in others.

If you have a combination of circuit cards with Software Version 01.00.xx and
Software Version 03.00.xx installed in the same carrier, call your sales or service
representative to ask about the 31x1 Version 3.0 Software Upgrade Program.

The 31x1 Version 3.0 Software Upgrade is only available for 3151-B2 and
3161-B2 circuit cards. If you have 3151-B1 or 3161-B1 circuit cards, call your
sales or service representative to ask about replacing your -B1 circuit cards
with -B2 circuit cards.
