The GH Series Contact Grill has been designed and developed to feature attractive design, quality materials and convenient operation, maintenance and durability. The temperature of the griddle pan can be regulated according to different cooking requirements. Mainly used to grill beef for sandwiches, it can also be used for a wide range of other food, and is ideally suited fast food restaurants, hotels and supermarkets etc.

D.Transportation and Storage
Please handle the contact grill carefully during transportation and do not turn it upside down to prevent any damage to the unit. The packed contact grill should be stored with adequate ventilation and non-corrosive gas. Any weatherproof measures should be applied when in temporary storage.
E. Notes
1. The working voltage of the equipment should match that of the power supply.
2. Suitable switch, fuse breaker and three-phase socket should be installed near the equipment.
3. There is an earth bolt at the back of the equipment. Please connect the earth wire in compliance with the safety regulations reliably with copper cable of no less than 2mm.
4. Before using user should check whether connection is firm and voltage is regular and earth connection is safe.
5. Do not put any object on top of the upper module plate and do not open the lift operation handle with sudden force.
6. Cut off power supply while cleaning. Do not use a wet towel with corrosive cleanser and do not directly splash water on the equipment.
7. The adjustable temperature of the equipment is between 50~200ºC. It is recommended that the maximum working temperature normally should be 150~190ºC.
8. Do not store any flammable objects near the equipment. The environment temperature should be lower than 45ºC, the humidity should be under 85%.
9. The installation and maintenance of the equipment should be carried out by professional technicians.
Special Notes
WARNING!
This product is a commercial machine and must be operated by trained
cook.
Do not dismantle and refit the machine. Any dismantling or alteration could cause serious accidents. Do not lift the upper module plate with sudden force or if the machine is at an angle.
Before cleaning, unplug the machine and cut off power supply. Do not spray water directly at the product. Water can conduct electricity and can cause accidents.
Do not put heavy objects on to the product. Incorrect operation can cause the equipment to become damaged and dangerous.
High temperature can cause burns. Take care when the equipment is in use and before or after using it ­Do not touch the exterior and module plate because they can become
extremely hot.
Do not use any power supply which is not coordinated with safety
standards.
NOTICE!
In thunderstorm conditions, unplug the bains marie to avoid damage from power surges.
Take care when using not to damage the control panel.
After using the machine, the user should switch off the main switch.
The installation and maintenance of the unit must be done by certificated special professionals. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid accidents.
F. Operation Instructions
1. Before use, check whether the power supply installation is correct to make sure the supplied voltage is coordinated with that which is required.
2. Put the plug in the socket and turn on the power.
3. Turn the temperature controller clockwise to the temperature needed. The yellow indicator illuminates to show that the heating elements begin to heat and the upper and lower griddle begins to raise temperature.
4. The temperature can be adjusted according to different food preferably within 180ºC~190 ºC. About 8 minutes is needed for the temperature to reach 190ºC from the power first being switched on.
5. When the unit reaches the required temperature, lift the upper module plate using the handle. Put some edible vegetable oil on the lower module plate and place the food on it. Close the plates and press the handle lightly. Keep an eye on the food until it is suitably done.
6. When temperature reaches the required level, the temperature controller will cut off the power supply to the elements automatically.At the sametime, the yellow indicator switches off while the green indicator stays on.
7. At the lower front of the lower module is the oil tray. Vegetable oil and the oils from the meat grilled flow into the oil tray from the lower plate.
8. Lift the upper module plate to remove the food when it is cooked.
9. When the temperature drops below the required level, the temperature controller will
switch power back on to the elements automatically to return heat to the module plates.
10. On completion of cooking, temperature controller should be turned to the “off” position.
Unplug the equipment and cut off the power.
11. Notice: There is temperature limiter in the bottom box, the action temperature is 200ºC,
and reset temperature is 40ºC. When temperature gets too high, the limiter button activates for protection. When you want to use the unit again, please press the protective
button.
G.Cleaning and Maintenance
1
. Cut off the power supply before cleaning to avoid accidents.
2. Do not use wet towel with non-corrosive cleanser to clean the module plate, the surface of
the equipment and power cord. Direct wash by water is notadvised in case of any damage of the components.
3. When the unit is not in use, please turn off viathetemperature controller and main switch.
4.
Please store the equipment in a ventilated location without corrosive gas.
H.Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Solution
Module plates do not heat when the power and heating indicator are both on.
1. Temperature controller is broken.
2. At least one of heating elements has blown.
3. The high temperature protector has activated.
1. Replace the temperature controller.
2. Replace the heating element.
3. Dismantle the bottom plate and reset the temperature protector.
When the power is on and temperature controller is switched on and heating indicator is on the temperature can be not controlled.

Indicator is not on when the power is on and the heating process is normal.

The indicator does not function when the power is on.

The aforementioned problems are just for reference. If a fault occurs, please cease using and consult professional technicians for advice and repair.

J. Daily Check
Check the condition of the machine before or after use, every day.
Is the machine positioned correctly?
Is the power cord old, broken or damaged?
Before using
Is the control panel damaged? Is there a strange smell? Can the upper and lower module plates be heated at the same time?
After using
Is there any strange sound?
WARNING!
Please check the machine everyday. Regular checks of the product can avoid serious accidents.
Stop using if you feel that there may be a problem with the machine. Ask a properly qualified person to check and maintain the machine as soon as possible.
