Installation of Environmental Sensors
Recommended sensor placement includes (3) temperature / humidity / airflow / dew-point sensors and (1) Temperature Sensor.
• Install (3) PVQ-ESTAFHD-18 sensors to the front door using (6) 5/8” plastic retainers, (6) #6-32 screws, (6) #6-32 nuts (or cable
ties for PVQ-EST-18 sensors).
• Route cable on door using small clips (ACC19-AV-M300).
• Install (1) temperature sensor in the rear of cabinet, route cable using cable ties.
• Route cable using cable ties.

Finger Bracket Installation (PVQ-ESDP-FB)
• Install (3) PVQ-ESTAFHD-18 to the fingers using (3) finger brackets, (3) #10-32 wing nuts, (6) 5/8” plastic retainers, (6) #6-32
screws, and (6) #6-32 nuts (or cable ties for PVQ-EST-18).
• Route cable, as shown below.
• Install (1) PVQ-EST-18 in the rear of cabinet, route cable using cable ties.
• Route cable, as shown below.

Routing Sensor cable to Networked with Environmental or Switched POU
• Install (1) PVQ-EST-18 to the rear of the cabinet, with a cable tie.
• Route cable to Networked with Environmental or Switched POU, as shown below.
(1) Temperature Sensor (PVQ-EST-12)
Note: Manage sensor cable slack on
cabinet post or on rear of the POU,
using adhesive back clips.

Installation of Front Single Hinge Door Sensors (PVQ-ESDP-SHD)
• Remove Cover Plate on the handle side of the cabinet.
• Install Primary Door sensor to the fascia bracket with (2) #6-32 screws, as shown in Fig 1.1.
• Wire Door sensor.
• Install fascia bracket to frame with existing screws from the cover plate, as shown in Fig 1.1.
• Route sensor cable to the Networked with Environmental or Switched POU, as shown in Fig 1.3
• Install Secondary Door sensor to Adjustment bracket with (2) #6-32 screws, as shown in Fig 1.2.
• Install Adjustment Bracket to Clamp with (1) #10-32 Wing Nut and (1) Lock Washer.
• Install Clamp to horizontal bar with (1) #12-24 screw.
• Use wing nut and #12-24 screw for adjustment.
• Align sensors (see page 9).

Installation of Dual Hinge Door Sensors (PVQ-ESDP-DHD)
• Remove Cover Plate on the handle side of the cabinet.
• Install Primary Door sensor to the fascia bracket with (2) #6-32 screws, as shown in Fig 2.1.
• Wire Door sensor.
• Install fascia bracket to frame with existing screws from the cover plate, as shown in Fig 2.1.
• Route sensor cable to the Networked with Environmental or Switched POU, as shown in Fig 2.3.
• Install Secondary Door sensor to Adjustment bracket with (2) #6-32 screws, as shown in Fig 2.2.
• Install Adjustment Bracket to Clamp with (1) #10-32 Wing Nut and (1) Lock Washer, as shown in Fig 2.2.
• Install Clamp to horizontal bar with (1) #12-24 screw.
• Use Wing Nut and #12-24 Screw for adjustment.
• Align sensors (see page 9).

Installation of Split Door Sensors (PVQ-ESDP-SD)
• Install Primary Door Sensor to non-handle door bracket with (2) #6-32 screws, as shown in Fig 3.1.
• Install non-handle door bracket to non-handle side split door with (2) #6-32 screws and (2) # 6-32 nuts, as shown in Fig 3.1.
• Install secondary sensor to handle door bracket with (2) #6-32 screws, as shown in Fig 3.2.
• Install handle door bracket to handle side split door with (2) #6-32 screws and (2) # 6-32 nuts, as shown in Fig 3.2.
• Wire sensor on non handle side and route as shown in Fig 3.3.
• Align sensors (see page 9).

Installation of VED Door Sensors (PVQ-ESDP-VED)
• Install Primary Door Sensor to VED frame bracket with (2) #6-32 screws, as shown in Fig 4.1 & 4.2.
• Install VED Frame Bracket to cabinet with (2) M5 torx head screws, as shown in Fig 4.1 & 4.2.
• Install secondary sensor to VED door bracket with (2) #6-32 screws, as shown in Fig 4.3.
• Install VED door bracket to cabinet with (2) M5 torx screws, as shown in Fig 4.3.
• Wire primary sensor and route cable to POU.
• Align sensors (see page 9).

IO Adapter Installation
• Install IO adapter to IO bracket with (2) 5/8” retainer, (2) #6-32 screws, and (2) #6-32 nuts.
• Install IO bracket to cover plate with (2) M5 screws.
• Install cover plate to cabinet cut-out with (2) M5 screws (existing).
